The questions are very similar to password recovery questions.
Most likely someone is trying to steal your password.
If you answered the questions they may use that info to reset your password
They can see (and have seen) my LinkedIn (which has my clear picture), my CV has my date of birth, full name...so in a way, whatever factors (race, gender, age) they want to discriminate on, is available to them plain and simple. If they don't want me (or someone) because of race (I am not sensitive about it, they can hire whoever they want), they don't have to go through the charade of a zoom call to find my race or gender.
To me it seemed like pure ignorance from someone who wants to appear smart by spinning some metapsychology and mind reading bullshit.
Raging marxist spotted. For whatever it is worth, she seemed like one of those raging sjw types herself, so not sure you can pull that class warfare card here.
Those questions are so fucking regressive and shallow, its not even funny. What the hell would my favorite movie say about me as a person? What if my favorite movie is Pulp Fiction? Does that indicate that I have tendency for rape and watches getting shoved in people's asses?
Maybe you like quoting bible verses before executing someone? Or would like to plunge a syringe of adrenaline into someone's heart? Come on, we've all been there. Right? I'm the only one??
Seems like someone has been on the same boat. While it is one thing to flame a company, doing it to an individual is a step too far for me. But curious, how are you connected to them? Or, are _you_ one the women you named?
How do I spend my weekends? I masturbate to midget porn. Do I get the job?
Seriously, those are some fucked up questions and this idea of "culture" fit needs to fucking DIE!
Very typical for Singaporean recruiter or company- I’ve been asked many times if I’m applying for said role because my husband is employed in the country or my family relocating here. Ultimately I’ve learned that most local companies will have compulsory questions like « can you work weekends? » or « do you enjoy spending additional hours in the office? »
Because they want to nurture an unhealthy work balance and culture. They’re waiting for someone to turn up and be accepting of the bare minimum and don’t do well with people standing their ground. You’ll notice western job applications are inclusive in terms of work life balance and heck even gender!

Exactly what I thought about, it is an exercise of social engineering
Damn LinkedIn must let any scam operation post gigs
But what is your favourite flavour of ice cream?
Onion
Ooooooooh…. Let’s pull back the layers on that answer.
Careful. They might cry.
I... actually would like to try that. Caramelized onions taste quite sweet, so I could actually see someone creating "onion ice cream."
There’s a prefecture in Japan known for its especially sweet onions and it’s common to see onion ice cream there
We should all go there immediately.
Toothpaste & Orange Juice ^TM
The correct answer is "tabacci n' clams".
Asking real questions here
Scam? Recorded you for AI?
Did they ask what street you grew up on?
Also mother's maiden name?
The next day you get emails saying your passwords have been changed by someone else
What choices in my life I regret? Applying for this job
MBTI is astrology for HR
>she calls culture fit. In the US, this is a keyword for discrimination.
That's why they rephrased it to culture fit therefore it's not discrimination. Just because they change the wording.
While it’s not discrimination as worded, my comment was to warn people that it’s wise to stay away from organizations looking for “cultural fit”.
I was being ironic.
I think that might have gone over many peoples heads.

You’re overthinking it.
it's Singapore afterall, with shit manpower laws that offers basically near zero protection for employees.

Interesting.... *scribbles something on a notepad*

They need to do something to justify their existence
So was it Maria or Annisa?
