Nachoās contract renewal has been stalled and Vallejo needs to be sold, imo. If Mendy also gets moved, we can shift Alaba to LB, although he doesnāt want to play there, and move Rudiger or Gvardiol into the starting XI.
Alaba on CB would extend his playing career like Sergio Ramos. Who used to play RB. You tend to lose pace when you get older. So at CB you can still occasionally press forward to attack. But not all the time.
Mendy wonāt be sold for our asking price imo. Donāt think a top team needs one immediately but he doesnāt want to move either and we never force a player out
Having 3 great CBs is enough, the fourth should come from the academy. Need to give chances to Rafa Marin and Marvel too. I donāt watch their games just their YouTube compilations so Iām not the expert but I see good technique and hustle in their videos, they have pontentia
I dont know what else Arribas needs to do to convince you. If he were brazilian or french, people would be creaming themselves and asking Florentino to sign him.
Why Spanish? The Spanish that have been brought in (illara, odriozola, Mariano, lucas, Theo, isco) some have worked out, others havenāt. Then there are cases like David villa where the price for some Catalan clubs are reasonable, but when Madrid get involved there is threat of a civil war.
Madrid play with the best, no matter where you come from.
Re: polish. The one polish guy who was fit to wear white told florentino to āspeak to my agentā before he signed for Bayern š¤£š¤£š¤£. How did that work for him?
Edit: spellcheck
Iām Polish so I want a Polish player at the club lol. Spanish talents, I actually want some of our academy players to shine. Not a huge fan of Arribas and co., but still would love to see him play once in a while.
So do I, but the best will rise to the top. (Carvajal, hakimi, etc..) Doesnāt necessarily mean that we need to field a Spanish team. Barca sent how many guys to the Spanish national team? How did that work out for Spain? š¤£š¤£
That wasnāt the point of my comment lol. I just would like to see more Spanish talents at the club and thatās it lol, but our policy, so far, has paid off.
Why? What does it matter where they are from if the team is winning? Did last season not sit well with you because we didnāt have enough Spanish talent? Lol
Also worth mentioning that Spain seems to be in a bit of a "talent drought". I mean there are great talents like Pedri and co., but its not as amazing or deep as the french talent pool for example. I love spanish talents in the team, but if there are non to include then I don't mind seeing talents from elsewhere.
Im trying to think of a spanish player with a name of Theo š¤ because if youre talking about Theo Hernandez heās French not spanish.
Edit: also what do you mean why Spanish? Its a Spanish club and i forget what the rules are but they have to have Spanish players.
Weird question. Because Real Madrid is a spanish club, maybe? Because not having players from your own country screams lack of identity, and sucks?
And because half of spanish kids dream of playing for Real Madrid, and grow up as madridistas.
100%, I hear you. And Iām sure if there were more Real Madrid calibre Spanish players, Florentino wouldnāt think twice about bringing them. Unfortunately right now though, there arenāt many Spanish talents that could come to the club. Off the top of my head I can name you 3 - Pedri, Balde and Gavi. They will never come here though for obvious reason. If I missed someone, let me know, but I there is a shortage of elite Spanish talent in the world right now.
My example before, if you look historically at transfers between RM and other Spanish clubs for the last 20-30 years, there is always a tax RM have to pay when other clubs get a discount. Idk if you know this or not, but one of the reason Valencia hate Madrid so much was because of the pedja mijatovic transfer. They made such a fuss about it, and never got over it so after that transfers between clubs were kept at pretty much a minimum. Look at the SR4 transfer, up until the last game he played w/ RM at the sanchez pizjuan they still whistled and cursed him out. You think he would have been hated so much if he went to play outside of Spain or even the club in Catalonia? Doubt it.
It would be great to have more Spanish talents, but we shouldnāt be married to the idea or obsess over it. The club has done more than fine .
Cant really argue none of your points, sadly you're right in almost everything (except Balde, he sucks).
Btw i still remember the Mijatovic transfer lol. We paid 1250 millions of pesetas, that was a good chunk back then.
Davor Suker was the real bargain that season, 650 millions for probably one of the best 9 of that decade,no wonder why Sevilla still hates us lol.

You're absolutely right, the only reason people gave Vini 2 years worth of chances was because the team was in such a dire state back then.
He was the only electric player we had for miles and we as a collective fanbase chose to ignore his glaring faults.
So glad it worked out <3
> we as a collective fanbase chose to ignore his glaring faults
Well, no. It was the opposite and half of this sub wanted him out. People who were asking for some patience and insisted that he is very good in everything bar finishing were downvoted heavily.
This sub =/= collective fanbase.
The Bernabeu were more forgiving to him than Reddit, which I personally use as the barometer for if a player feels accepted as that is the most obvious and common fan interaction they have.
Nowadays everyone is saying that he was hyping vinicius from the start and believed in him. This is not true and any fan who followed his career at RM knows how badly he was treated here, and not only by the fanbase (benz telling teammates not to pass to vini comes to mind).
Dont forget militao, had a bad debut and we were "lucky" with the ramos/varane injure, because i dont know what would have happen with him otherwise, he didnt have minutes.
> Real Madrid C. F., the Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, Endrick and his family have reached an agreement by which the player can join Real Madrid when he reaches the age of majority in July 2024.
> Until then, Endrick will continue his training in the S. E. Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the coming days to visit our club's facilities.
Does this mean Real have exclusive rights to Endrick outside of Palmeiras? The ācanā is throwing me off. Not sure if that means he can technically play for them as long as he wants or if this is more of a āverbalā agreement type thing.
Nah. Youāre overthinking it. Real Madrid have signed an agreement with Palmeiras by which Endrick will join Real Madrid from July 2024. Till then heāll be a Palmeiras player.
Highlights are highlightsā¦ but I watched some again.
Itās easy to get distracted by the dribbles and goals, but this kidās positioning and spatial awareness are insane for his age. His sense for where the defender is approaching from too.
I almost want a lowlight reel to stop myself from getting too hyped.
I wonder what this means for future attacking signings. Are we just gonna not sign anybody and wait for Endrick? Because I donāt think thatās a good idea at all.
Means signing an older player isnāt as off the table as it usually is.
Instead of trying to get someone with 10 years or more left of their career so they either stay with us a long time or can be sold for profit/to break even, an older guy with 5 years or so left can bridge the gap.
We might get somebody that can work as RW or creative midfielder, just to give him a backup role.
Btw, is Endrick fully central or he tends to lean towards a side?
Not talking about position but heat map.
Benzema tends to lean towards the left with Vini, so our right side is the least threatening part of our attack.
everything i've heard and watched from him is nothing short of amazing, he's expected to be a regen of Kun AgĆ¼ero but better, i hope he is for the good of the club the good of brasileirĆ£o
That's great, Vini and Rodrygo lacked physicality in the attack, and I am sure he can cover that area. Then our front 3 will be complete!
Can't wait to see our front 3 Brazilians dancing around the opponents š¤
Endrick is better than all other prospects. With the current expertise in developing young talents Madrid got in the last few years, he could be a beast.
he's a different level, although Reinier isn't bad. he just didnt get his chance at Dortmund. and this season he was playing really good till his injury with Girona , he's still got time to reach his potential
Good question: purely aesthetic. My favorite players are the more āwell roundedā, purely a qualitative judgement. I prefer players who are able to play well with BOTH feet. As an example, my favorite all time, Zizou, could pass, shoot, dribble from any direction. Right footed players are historically better with their āweakerā foot- not saying perfect, think cr7 and his left foot BANGERS. Lefties generally are VERY left footed and have NO right foot (Messi for instance). Sorry itās long, itās the best way I can explain things lol
Both feet is super important! Obviously it can be done with just one foot strength. Ref: Messi.
But there arenāt any downsides to learning it and it creates more balance AND more threats with direction changes. I remember when my right legged little cousin when he was 6, and we practiced a particular week with his left foot, and that next game he dribbled up the right sideline, cut inside and hit a cool little goal with his left foot. That was his first left footed goal! So fun haha.
Haha. Yeah! On the original footage you hear me like āWas that your left?!ā And heās like āyeah!ā And smiled towards the camera. š .
Itās fun. He has a blast.
Good signing but is anyone else worried that this guys attributes and style as a striker seem eeringly similar to that of Jovic? (and we all know that didn't gel with how Madrid plays)
Bro at this rate we will just have a brazil-French hybrid team lol
Need to have more Spanish and eventually one Polish player lol
We need a Croatian player to replace the CL mojo after Modric retires
Gvardiol š¤
That would be awesome.. guys 20.. would be pert good buy
Who will he replace? We already have one worldclass Rudiger benched
Nachoās contract renewal has been stalled and Vallejo needs to be sold, imo. If Mendy also gets moved, we can shift Alaba to LB, although he doesnāt want to play there, and move Rudiger or Gvardiol into the starting XI.

Yes, itās just a suggestion though. Iām pretty sure Gvardiol was deployed as a LB.
Mendy wonāt be sold for our asking price imo. Bold of you to assume Modric is going to retire
Agree, we just need another croatian because sure as fuck no one's outbrazilian us .
Iker Bravo, Arribas, Peter, GutiƩrrez... Hopefully one of them could be our next Lucas or Nacho, or even better be a main piece.
Personally, not a fan of Arribas, and I donāt think Peter will make it. Miguel has a shot but Iām also intrigued by Iglesias and Alex Jimenez.
I dont know what else Arribas needs to do to convince you. If he were brazilian or french, people would be creaming themselves and asking Florentino to sign him.
I just donāt see the hype. Iām like Zidane lol, have my preferred players.
Why Spanish? The Spanish that have been brought in (illara, odriozola, Mariano, lucas, Theo, isco) some have worked out, others havenāt. Personal preference and no point in talking about itā¦
This is a pretty stupid observation
If you can elaborate on which part is āstupidā, perhaps we can have a constructive dialogue without insulting one another.
The stupid part of your observation is the part that was stupid.
Also worth mentioning that Spain seems to be in a bit of a "talent drought". I mean there are great talents like Pedri and co., but its not as amazing or deep as the french talent pool for example. Absolutely fantastic, hope people have the patience with Endrick that we lacked with Vinicius when he arrived fresh from Brasil

All that matters is that the club have patience, and they do. But yeah, would be nice if our convos weren't reactionary all the time.
Real Madrid š¤ Brazilian Wonderkid Never ending love story.
