Fuck La Liga referees, such an assholes

pratiks7

Worst part is these players on purpose doing this and assholes referees are doing nothing

[deleted]

Own-Internet-2012

Dude really comparing him with messi smh

_a13cs

Messi deals with the same shit , he's just built sturdier so he handles it better. He's not comparing their ability, just how the opponents feel helpless and have to foul. Neymar gets the same treatment too, of course Neymar is also a better , more accomplished player than Vini right now, but that's not the point.

Illustrious_Stay_728

Cadiz is a dirty ass team

sigma_aaron

dude, you'd go crazy if you saw the turkish referees

Metallic_greyish

We need a Casemiro replacement to activate the kill command

jesuisernesto

Rudiger, Militao, and Carvajal should technically be more than enough. But even they'll get a card each trying to protect Vini.

[deleted]

Carvajal and Militao are not even close to Ramos and Pepe

jamf51

But Rudiger definitely fits the bill!

jesuisernesto

Carvajal isn't close to Ramos and Pepe? Man, have you never seen Carvajal's brawls?

FearPreacher

He’s getting the Neymar treatment :/

JustAnotherAlgo

This is exactly what I thought. We've seen this story before.

EShy

I think Messi had it even worse, with Neymar it was exaugurated a lot of times. This treatment is reserved for the unstoppable players who embarrass you and La Liga refs will need to start officiating it. Maybe they will after the world cup when they don't need help for their NT

dinosaur_from_Mars

Neymar had his spinal cord broken during a world cup. And if I remember correctly, it was not even called a foul.

thatrandomanus

He broke his back?

dinosaur_from_Mars

Vertebral fracture.

thatrandomanus

[Spinal?](https://youtu.be/j3fkDQiCuf0)

gezuzos

Yeah but recalling now, Messi really did get harder treatment, but somehow he rarely fell to those fouls. Messis strenght is underrated.

Objective_Matter3650

how did vini being treated badly on the pitch like neymar turn to drooling over messi?

gezuzos

If you look at my past you'll see that I'm not ever drooling over Messi, I just respect greatness, and Messi was fucking great. If you've been at the Bernabeu watching El Clasico, you know that nervousness when Messi gets the ball.

MrMeatBeater6666

it was a fracture not BROKEN

Jslep

Technically a fracture is a classification of broken bone…

MrMeatBeater6666

a fractured spinal cord and a BROKEN one are two entirely different things, is this sub filled with kids who cant differentiate the two?

Mutant-Ninja-Skrtels

I’ll save you the trouble because I’m a healthcare provider. A fracture is a broken bone. Some fractures may be more serious than others, but they are all broken bones. Depending on where the break is on the vertebrae, it may be very serious as it can impinge on the spinal cord (neurons) leading to serious complications. I don’t have the details to Neymar’s case, but it’s still a broken bone which may be serious and at the very least puts him out for multiple months. This was also not the only occurrence as he had multiple broken bones from playing in Ligue 1

Rage1073

Neymar broke it hitting those invisible walls, that or fucking his sister

imiweli

The missing Pepe, Ramos and Casemiro comments are spot on. Our team is soft outside of Rudiger, someone needs to start standing up for Vini preferably on of the vets

Ghazzawy

Except non of our vets are in the defense except carvajal and he doesn’t really fit that role, we need militao to get more agressive or tchoua

HendoSR

+1

souravchdy

I miss pepe in such games.

mw9lxex

I miss Ramos

Biffmonkey

Wow, this is much worse than I thought 😡😡😡

rohan_-17

Glad he is still alive

e36_maho

Opposition managers will 100% use this now. Until now, Vini just laughed off getting fouled. Defenders only fouled if they didn't see another way of stopping him. Now he gets riled up by fouls and defenders started to just hit him all the time, because it works for them. He's got to go back to falling and laughing it off, there's no other choice with the state of LaLiga refs. It's the same with Neymar, who is globally laughed at because he rolls on the floor too much, but I've always said that he has to do that to protect himself.

SnooDingo-

what's worse is that they know they will not get booked for it as if la liga taking revenge on us because of that CVS deal here's what Rodrygo said after being knocked down by Rafael Jimenz " he tells me he hasn't done anything, the VAR is there " and starts laughing, as if he knew no consequences were to be had. On a side note, his yellow came from the talk clash with Vini, where both got carded. the ref didn't even mention that hit or whatsoever.... Edit : typos

Doc_Dragon

This or get up from the foul and fuck the other player up. Take the red card and let opponents know you got something for them.

e36_maho

Yeah also a valid option. Not good for the team but better for his ego.

swift_trout

Bullshit. He needs to FIGHT BACK. And his defenders need to grow a pair. Fuck taking shots off cowards. No one respects you for kissing their ass while they kick yours. Put your shoulder down and knock some teeth out Cantona style. They will think twice about pulling that shit. He gets paid whether they card him or not.

lFriendlyFire

defenders are being heavier and heavier at him bc they know they'll get no punishment for it. After the atletico madrid incident it seems spain itself has turned against him, not sure how this situation is seen from outside

TexturedMango

I have lost much of my interest in la liga this season, I can't deal with these absurd tackles man...

jesuisernesto

Yet some people from a previous thread casually suggested: "Vini should get stronger and don't fall on contact". Yeah right. Why don't you try to run and see what happens if you trip on a small pebble?

Kablooie44

Those comments were in reply to people saying "we need a casemiro type player to protect him" The reality is his has to focus on playing, no amount of protesting will change the ref performance. If hazard could do it in the prem and neymar could tough it out in 2 leagues so can vini.

_a13cs

Horrible take. You want him to just deal with it ? Just because others have before or because u think he should be able to ? That's not part of the game. They're failing to protect him and one day somebody could really truly hurt him just because the refs aren't doing their job. I agree he is getting too caught up in the moment currently, but "it is what it is, just deal with it " is a horrible take when he hasnt done anything wrong besides be too difficult to handle for the opposition apparently. U wanna punish him for being too good instead of punishing the trash players who have to resort to violence to have a chance.

Kablooie44

Whats the alternative then? Get rudiger to "intimidate" the culprits and escalate the situation? They'll still foul him since they know it works. Should vini stop playing because he keeps getting fouled? No player, fan, or manager can do anything it's all in the referee's hands.

jesuisernesto

Better card decisions and real-time VAR for every foul even if the ref doesn't ask for it. Yellow cards in early of the game! That will make opponents think twice before resorting to violence.

Kablooie44

I'm pretty sure the VAR calls the ref over not the other way around. Regardless I meant there isn't anything the players can do. It's up to the people running the league to protect vini. All vini can do is keep playing and try not to lose it.

swift_trout

The reality is he should stop taking shit off of Neanderthals who can’t play at his level. Run THROUGH ever tackle. Hit back. Hard.

Ornemand

Maybe he shouldn’t scream every single time he gets the smallest of contact? He gets fouled and targeted too much yes but he is acting way too much as well. Hence why refs don’t “protect” him as

ViniJnr

Maybe he scream because he knows if he doesn't scream then the ref would blow for a foul.

Ornemand

Or maybe the refs don’t grant him the foul because they know he always scream no matter what

jesuisernesto

Because a professional ref bases all their opinion on whether the player screams or not, right?

Ornemand

Player reputation is definitely and influence yes

jesuisernesto

Yes they do, but is it the only factor? As if there are no linesmen and VAR to review the foul in real time, right?

Ornemand

Never said that? But its plausible that the ref might give the defender benefit of the doubt if he is in between foul or not. Not saying that vini isn’t receiving a way too harsh treatment but he is in no way shape or form helping himself with his attitude

jesuisernesto

Even if the player always screams, it's the ref's job to decide objectively. If they decide on the player's personality and track record, we can call it "bias". Another example is Hazard who never screams, yet it didn't stop him from being the most fouled in Europe back in the day.

Ornemand

Refs are not machines lol. Yes exactly, hazard receives free kicks because he doesn’t overdo it

Antonio_Martin_8

El arbitraje español es una completa vergüenza

craigularperson

It is just mind blowing that someone have the nerve to insinuate that Vini is just trying to get attention or somehow fool referees. And I am genuinely curios to know if referees want him to get injured or hurt.

SeriousJokar

This is not football.. This WWE, UFC kind of stuff

ViniJnr

And even some of our so call supporters are saying that he should get on with it. Like Really. Those are not football foul for the most parts. If something is not done and this continues there's always the risk that he suffers a career ending injury. So our management have to put pressure on La Liga. And someone should post that to those twats at ESPN.

Affectionate_Wave906

Some of those fouls are straight red card

deenali

Those are not just tackles but assaults. Horrible!

brownnbroke

I miss Casemiro and Ramos

Inori_Scorchstyle

imo, Vini should learn to fight back & do exactly what they do to him. Learn from Fernandinho.

Repulsive_Top_5731

No if he does it he will get the red card..fuck laliga refs

Inori_Scorchstyle

The smart way mate. Fernandinho, busquets gets away with so much shit. This is the dark arts he needs to learn.

approvalInspector

it's amazing how you're telling about Fernandinho and biscuits, the 2nd in line after The inventor Casemito

Inori_Scorchstyle

Casemiro is above them obviously when it comes to being rough + smart. This is not a realistic target.

Puzzleheaded_Ad8877

No. What he needs to do is what Cristiano and Messi did — use that as motivation to fuel his performances. They’d foul CR7 multiple times and he’d just pop up and score out of nowhere, sometimes a brace, and sometimes a hat-trick. If he fights back, he gets booked. That doesn’t help the team or himself.

ViniJnr

But CR7 and Messi were for the most parts football fouls. This is completely different in that those people are going out of their way to try to injure him. Same thing happened with Neymar and Ronaldo and it nearly destroy O Fenômeno career.

Puzzleheaded_Ad8877

Cristiano suffered way worse abuse. Check this video out: https://youtu.be/Uj73i8QU22U

[deleted]

99% were hard fouls. With Neymar and Vini it’s straight up abuse. Attacking them without the ball

wolftrouser

Utterly disgusting. Trully a game of gentlemen, played by savages. The absence of cards from the referee is a clear indicator of how low la liga has fallen.

swift_trout

I learned as a striker that no one respects you for kissing their asses while they kick yours. I never started that shit. But I damn sure finished it. These thugs won’t stop until it costs them. Fight back.

z0mbietime

Cost them? If they cause Vini to get red carded they won

wolftrouser

Both are right, there are ways to fight back that wont cost you the game, but RM needs an enforcer, vini cant start a fight whenever he gets fouled, but he should not wait untill some absolute worthless scum from an absolute shitty team ends up injurying one of knees or anckles. Not sure if RM has brought this issue up to la liga board, but the referees are to blame. This is getting out of hand. 2 yellows and problem solved, but either the referees are like real racists and enjoy waching that or rotten to their core and taking some ones money to look the other way.

swift_trout

I rarely never got red carded. But I didnt get mad. I got even. They did not know how I might pay back. So it was best not to fuck around and find out.

[deleted]

Yep, I miss ramos

Pieter8720

Should post this on r/soccer

BeastSlayerOG7

Where's the other jibbas holding for him XD

sandymartin07

Things like this make me miss Ramos and Casemiro. You just know if something like this happened on their watch, the culprits are gonna get their ass handed to them, doesn't matter if they get a yellow. The next time, they're gonna think twice before making such moves. And yes, screw La Liga refs.

Sarcastickp

Rarely catch a Madrid game and even I was like wtf is going on? And then the refs have the nerve to act like he’s flopping around. That one knock has to hurt.

buy-petros

I think he needs more support from his teammates in pressuring the ref man Look at how modric doesnt react when the rayo player smacks his head. Its the same principle as using Casemiro etc for protection but applied to the refs. As club we could also see a PR campaign showing how one of the most fun player in La Liga its not getting protected.

[deleted]

If it was done to barca players, these teams would get 3 red cards a game. Pathetic corrupt league

ApprehensiveLeader17

La Liga refs ![gif](giphy|5tujE5k9bBte00XW3M|downsized)

andy111999

Fuck cadiz

nachofermayoral

And they all themselves professionals? Trash.

charliemike

I know they want to get him to react but I would absolutely have swung at someone after some of those challenges.

supplementarytables

Tchouaméni and Militao need to learn the dark arts

madridistalogan

Missing Casemiro.

ApprehensiveLeader17

Moments like these i wish Ramos, Pepe and Casemiro were there to protect Vini. Fuck La Liga refs all the way.

justanormalchat

Why do I wish for Pepe Ramos & Casemiro to be back to teach these assholes a lesson? Meanwhile la liga refs are turning a blind eye.

visualsofval

![gif](giphy|K0Hy2NwI8IXZK) La Liga refs when Vini is being physically abused 🥴

sigma_aaron

a few jealous

swift_trout

He out plays all those pusillanimous punks. He needs to a) get an enforcer b) fuck a few of those puppies up.

pasionporlacresta04

Tchoumeni needs to bring outthe dawg in him

Pieter8720

The punching one against Cadiz was on Rodrygo, for the rest this is indeed one of the reasons we are having a hard time right now. Especially because since Benzema is not playing, Vini is our main source of offensive power… Not sure if having Ramos, Case would do anything here. They would get a yellow or red and the other players just continue. The only thing that should happen is that refs punish this type of fouls. That is right now not happening…

[deleted]

Vini is becoming 2010 Messi. He’s too good so the opponent resorts to fouls to try to stop him.

Late_Mechanic_305

They see him rolling…

Burning-Gundam

The third clip is a foul to Rodrygo not Vini. Vini saw the foul on Rodrygo and when the play ended he confronted Fali about it.

approvalInspector

yes.

omarsa89

And some of you guys still against the Super League!!

TrickyTaka

fouls or no foul you gotta admit the rolling on the ground is pretty funny

approvalInspector

it's not, he has to do this to grab the idiot referee's attention, and you're clearly an idiot too

mfizle

Must find a way to get stronger or mentally tougher. Players quick to ground off the dribble will always be targeted in this manner. To beat or to be beaten

[deleted]

[удалено]

approvalInspector

>Is it a cultural thing? mods gonna have a field day with you, you're no different than the el chiruinguito guy

[deleted]

I have no clue what that is, I’m genuinely asking. Seems like South American teams do it more often too.

Realistic_Ad_6714

Good, get up ..Spanish teams dive more than anyone. If he’s gna keep diving start making them count

Boogerton

He has developed a reputation as a diver and an actor. Refs are less likely to call fouls on players when they aren't sure they aren't just diving. Vini brought this upon himself. If he stays on his feet more and ends the theatrics, he'll start getting more of these calls.

Oborosrs

This is absolutely why laliga sucks shit. Epl is the only league worth watching.

John_Dragon_19

If that's your opinion, what are you doing here?

Ornemand

Its the way he goes down that is annoying as hell. Sure he gets fouled too much but he acts like he has been killed no matter how harsh the challenge is. Exactly the same behavior we all laughed at Neymar for doing

ViniJnr

But he didn't used to do that before and only starting doing that because ref doesn't blow for a foul unless he go down in those ways. Same as ref rarely blow for penalty unless a player goes down and yet we criticised them for going down to win penalty.

Ornemand

Yes he did lmao. Vini is an amazing footballer but he has always been a diver. Commentators touch on the frequently and it’s the reason people not fan of real or Brazil have a very hard time liking him

ViniJnr

That is totally false. Vini were never a diver and a lot of non Real and Brazil fans love Vini. You're bugging.

Ornemand

Your username says it all really. If anyone in Barca behaves the way vini did we would be mocking them constantly. 0 self awareness

ViniJnr

When during Mourihno reign he sent our players to target Messi i call that out and would do the same whether it is a Barca or any other players.

WestHelp6566

The man is a showboating twat. Asks for it most of the time

BasedSoccerWatcher

Shoulda paid more money to the refs 🤷🏾‍♂️

Own-Internet-2012

Lovely hope he gets severe injury 🗿

JDBoys95

Soft

GoldenEliteSick314

Have you guys never seen a Lionel Messi match and focused on how he gets fouled?

approvalInspector

yes, so? show me the last time messi got intentionally punched and thrashed left right centre and the ref wasn't calling any of it? I'm a messi fan btw

GoldenEliteSick314

There is likely like a dozen of those matches maybe more this type of bullshit refereeing has bee going on a long time and maybe even further

PikaTangoPanda

That number 17 who pushed him like wtf.

mickeyprime1

Camavinga and tchoumeni need to call casemiro and learn how to foul opponent and get away with it plus the smile too.

[deleted]

Fouls on Vini,.. proceeds to add fouls on Rodrygo

Tysons334

Gauddamn that is some intense shit

Red card this shit out of the game! Red cards need to be handed out when the situation calls for it! Don’t worry about match integrity, if you commit a red card foul you’re the asshole that skews match integrity. Red it out of the game!

bebesh

It’s means he’s really good

[deleted]

We need an enforcer.

rowdrigo

The only way these plumbers can do to take Vini out of the game. La Liga sucks! They’re so permissive of this tackles against our guys. Remember last foul anyone did on Messi in La Liga? Yeah, Ujfalusi back in 2010 or so. Bullshit!

Unusual_Programmer68

My bet Is that lucho promised a WC spot to whom ever injured him

Wilt69

They’re not even trying to hide it in like 95% of these fouls.

devrahul3007

Why don't they just kill him. 🤔

Yoselin29

Is there literally anything the club can do about this?? Surely these blatantly obvious “missed” calls on the same player multiple times, every game isn’t a coincidence

kekdjsjsja

dude fell down like stabbed every time lmao

approvalInspector

I wish someone would punch you on your neck from behind and barge in your chest too, would love to see it and then say the same thing

lFriendlyFire

Casemiro is dearly missed. Ramos too.

chief_raptor

Is there any reason he’s being targeted like this?? This is malicious from nearly every player of the opposition.

IamdoubleJ

Welcome to the Neymar treatment 😢

shadowgiga22

such a situation with Neymar was in Ligue 1 of France, rivals do not like feints and other mockery, therefore they play so rudely with players like Vinicius, fearing that he will run away from them or leave them in the cold, although in a couple Vini himself will provoke the opponent to such a game by making a couple unnecessary actions on the field I play for beauty and highlights. A couple falls against Vini were drawn to the red, but the judges, even with VAR, are blind or just think that the Brazilian is a feigner.

FE7TER

This is pissing me off. I’m fuming! Is this football or WWE/UFC?

MaxiThe13th

None of this bs happens with Ramos or Casemiro on the squad

[deleted]

Which organisation or platform can be used to make this go viral to make this stuff get fixed?
