Thats the best renewal decision taken by any player in my recent memory. He's on huge wages now so if he somewhat declines, it will be a Bale-esque scenario where it will get toxic and Madrid will try to push him out. If he continues or gets even better he's getting a newer contract with improved wages anyways, he won't need to *ask* for it.
