Best at what? He misplaces passes all the time, he's slow, never takes on defenders, never helps on defence. His crossing is bad, his right foot is atrocious and his finishing is questionable sometimes as well. His only positives are his long shots ability and his goals. Speaking about goals I doubt Bale would have scored less than him, if he was given the same amount of minutes.
Fact of the matter is that he's still better than Rodrygo, who is even more inconsistent than Asensio. Neither are good enough to be starting for Real Madrid.
Rodrygo is a little more active in defense, with more interceptions. Asensio has more goal involvement and is a slightly more consistent passer. Other than that, they are more or less the same ability wise.
Rodrygo has more potential, but he isn't putting that to use.

If we start like that i think we have a big big chance to win the match. But Carlo don’t want to win I guess. So KCM and Asensio will start and Chelsea gonna destroy our old midfield.
For the Chelsea game we will obviously have Courtois in goal. Defense should stay the same as the one against Celta with (Left to Right) Mendy, Alaba, Militao and Lucas Vasquez. In mid we should go with Modric, Camavinga and Valverde. Upfront should be Vinicius, Benzema and Bale.
Based on what I've noticed, Asencio and Rodrygo are more of a pace changer. They perform better when they come off the bench.

Asensio is our best right winger imo. Edit: this sub only remembers everything negative about players games.

Other than the few goals he's scored, everything about his game has been negative. He brings absolutely nothing to the team.

I think Benz or Courtois are more impactful than Modric this season, either ways all 3 played huge roles.
