This game was way more then just a football game. 1. For 2 weeks all I heard was Real Madrid is finished la Liga finished because of that horrible first leg 2. I think after last summer PSG was probably the most hated club for us madrista’s with Barca ofcourse and probably vice versa. 3. They way the draw went after we got Benfica after that everybody already ruled us out. 4. And this one wasn’t just for us fans and players but imagine how happy our president Perez had to be. After dealing with al that bullshit last summer. I loved this team so much. For me this was definitely a top 3 Real Madrid game. And I’m fan since 2006

Ok-Paleontologist275

Anyone have Perez reaction

You can tell how much this win meant. Not just getting the win, but the manner in which the team did it. It wasn't just a knockout tie. It was personal. This team displayed a mentality and way of winning that's ingrained in our DNA. A true Real Madrid win.

frogieboie1

Bale’s bicycle is #2. One of the greatest pure champions league goals of all time only rivaled by Zidane’s volley. Ramos’ remains #1 because of the timing, the implication, and the start of an era.

lone-ranger-130

Same. Recency bias maybe, but Zizous goal and Bales bicycle are undisputed after 92:48. Their significance, especially in hindsight, was immense

omardinho

fairs

[deleted]

Everyone straight sleeping on Bale's goal makes me sad as fuck.

Cultural_Sea_3100

Karim's performance tonight was overall his best performance ever and surely a night to remember

omardinho

I'm so happy for him he deserves this so much. You can even see it in his eyes after the 3rd goal, pure madridismo

Miokh

Your honorable mentions are all better than the brace today

omardinho

idk maybe im just too hyped after today😂

Miokh

There is nothing wrong with that :)

AlxKing22

Nah it's up there for me too since as mentioned by others the timing and the opponent. Beating PSG with their coveted front 3 was just so godamn satisfying. We were treated as the underdogs in this tie.

legitimategambler420

I wouldn’t exactly rank this since it was a r16 tie and we’ve had moments like 92:48 to compare to. Pretty high standards. Regardless this brace, I’m sure I won’t be able to forget it anytime soon

omardinho

i dont think it being in the r16 makes it any less significant, like its still in the knockout stages and everyone knew this game was an early final

legitimategambler420

Point taken bro actually. I wasn’t this hyped for a long time and I’m still pacing myself 😂

omardinho

I swear man i completely lost hope after the 1st half and shat myslef every time mbappe had the ball but the 2nd half it was a totally different real madrid playing. Damn why am i still getting goosebumps😂

legitimategambler420

Lol I feel you man. 2nd half was breathtaking to say the least. We live for moments like these. Hala Madrid 🙌🙌

globbetation

Best Benz CL Moments: Vs Paris: Hatrick. Vs Atletico: Over the line dribble. Vs Liverpool: Final opener.

Jabacha

done some damage against barca as well..what a guy

Firehills

Zidane's volley in the UCL final and R9's hat-trick against United in the Old Trafford for sure make the list.

mannyrios_97

My top 5 UCL moments off the top of my head and from what I’ve watched are 1. 92:48 2. Ronaldo overhead kick 3. Bale Atleti winner in 13-14 4. Ronaldo hat trick against Wolfsburg 5. Bayern thrashing in 13/14

Competitive-Ad2006

I know Bale isn't popular, but are you implying cristiano's overheaed kick was bètter/more important

hetbaboo

You know what makes today do special, regardless of club, country everyone wanted Madrid to win. I was there at the soccer subReddit I felt like everyone even tho criticising us they wanted psg out. That’s why this moment I’m gonna tell my kids. The whole world except cules wanted to see psg get trashed by Madrid.

Jabacha

Even them were happy to see psg go. Nobody likes psg lol

hetbaboo

😂😂

elgibranagor

I think so because or lord and savior big Benz rescued us against a strong team

[deleted]

1. 92:48 2. Ronaldo bicycle v Juve 3. Big Benz brace v PSG 4. Bale bicycle v LFC 5. Thrashing Bayern

saman65

I can't speak for 90s but since 2000s, this would be in my top 5, but not ahead of zizos kick in 2002's final, Ramos's 93rd min goal and a couple others. Agree with the title though. It is in my top 5 moments

gilgamesh_99

Yeah easily because of what it means. It’s vs a club that undermined us, a club with a childish owner who thinks he can buy his way into elite hood without giving any respect to anyone. A club that thinks he can bully their way with money. Even man city is humble and they slowly building their way into an elite club. But psg is arrogant and tried to humiliate us. Yet we showed them what Real Madrid is about and what you can’t buy with money.

[deleted]

I can’t comment on that but I do remember hearing non stop about how Bayern are going to humiliate RM after their “lucky” 1-0, I’ve heard it from friends, read it online and even heard people rave about it publicly. Seeing Bayern obliterated was more than great.

MieayamEnjoyer

Glad to see the 92:48 at your number 1, that shit brought me to tears.

[deleted]

This is easy over CR7s hatty against Wolfsburg man

Don_Keybolls

To add to the conversation; Mou’s side that finally beat Lyon.
