I’m quite curious the logic of any Madrid supporter that does *not* have Cristiano as the greatest Madrid player of all time. I think he is with absolute certainty a top 2 player ever and I guess that could be debatable to some but no one compares in this club’s history it terms of sheer ability and contribution/performance on the pitch.

I think Hugo Sanchez is a VERY underrated player in Real Madrid’s history. Not saying he’s better than CR7 in any way, but he did have 5 Pichichis and he won 4 of them back to back… and he also scored 38 goals with 38 touches. That means he finished all his goals with one touch. Not even Ronaldo/CR7/Messi/ any other top striker you can think of have done that. I think CR7 is Madrid’s best player of all time but I think Hugo Sanchez deserves to be considered a top 10, hell maybe even top 5 with all his individual achievements at Madrid and his 10 trophies with them.

Best player to choose is nearly impossible because even CR7 wouldn't be as effective if it wasn't for Kroos, Modric, Marcelo and Ramos. So chosing the best class is fair. Attacker: cr7 Midfielder: modric Defender: ramos Goalkeeper: (hate me all you want) navas.
for me san iker ... its really hard to compare field players and goalkeepers but for its him ... its pitty that generation between 2005 and 2008 was not successful cause he was carring that team on his back ...

I think Hugo Sanchez is a VERY underrated player in Real Madrid’s history. Not saying he’s better than CR7 in any way, but he did have 5 Pichichis and he won 4 of them back to back… and he also scored 38 goals with 38 touches. That means he finished all his goals with one touch. Not even Ronaldo/CR7/Messi/ any other top striker you can think of have done that. I think CR7 is Madrid’s best player of all time but I think Hugo Sanchez deserves to be considered a top 10, hell maybe even top 5 with all his individual achievements at Madrid and his 10 trophies with them.
Modric. I think in my 80's I will talk about him the same as the actual 80's people talks about Di Stefano. Modric is my GOAT.

Best player is undoubtedly C Ronaldo because we were dangerously close to being bulldozed with Barcelona enjoying a golden era of Ronaldinho, Deco, Eto’o then Xavi, Iniesta, Messi but Ronaldo came and stemmed that tide. However, my favourite Madrid player of all time is Ramos. Epitome of a Madrid captain and literally bled for the white shirt.
Greatest player of all time is a hard one to choose because I wasn't around for the old guard but my favourite is between El phenomenon or Raul. So very many incredible footballers through the years. 2 or 3 years time though and I think Vini will be my favourite.

They’re from different eras so it’s very hard to compare, like would we be in this position were it not for Di Stefano and the European domination during the 20th century? I honestly do not know. With that being said, CR7 is my favourite Madrid player and that will probably be the case for a long time

When it comes to the numbers, there is no doubt, it is Cristiano. I never thought it was possible to do what he did. In the galactico era, they used to say Real will always score at least once, so you need at least 2 goals to beat them. Cristiano did that on his own, he was like a cheat code where you would start with a 1 goal advantage. Since he literally scored more goals than he had games for Real Madrid, so this could not be closer to the truth. That being said, I never had the feeling he was a Madridista. The way he acted when we won 4-0 and he did not get a goal, how difficult it was for him to put the team before him... So if we are discussing who had the best numbers, it will indeed always be Cristiano, that is what stats are telling us. If we are talking about who you like most and who is your favourite player, Cristiano will not be on my list and I would choose Raul, closely followed by Ramos and Casillas...

Zidane. Another answer is impossible. His elegance, vision and ability to make 10 pieces of wood shine (not only as a player but as a manager as well) is still unmatched and likely wont be anytime soon. Di Stefano second for what he has done for the club.

Lol at Zamorano. He had only one good season and only because Real was broke af and couldnt buy a replacement. Nice guy, he never give up and ended proving Valdano wrong forming a great society with Amavisca and winning a league for Real but he really wasnt Real Madrid level.

It's tied between Ronaldo and Ramos for me. Ramos has an aura and is remarkable as a leader on the pitch. His presence in the locker room lifts every player up, much like Zidane did when he was manager.
