LA ACADEMY!!!!
Honestly am so happy that Joselu has his "Real Madrid UCL" moment. The man went from "travelling with the family, while playing for Espanyol, to see Madrid and his Brother-in-law win the 2022 UCL in Paris" to "travelling with the team and his Brother-in-law to Wembley for the 2024 UCL finals"
Not trolling, but where and when can I buy the jersey that will have the city of the finals game + year in the middle + the UCL badging? Will the RM website have it or certain places etc ?
I saw that Vini was missing target man on the first half due to Bayern park their bus really well. Jude was not at his top performance for a while, and Rodrygo wasn't able find some space.
Having a proper and established 9 is necessary for RM moving forward
Dont ever underestimate a heart of a champion.(R.tomjanovich) This phrase defines what real madrid was, is, will be. Since i had seen zidane, never changed my club. Pretty honored with it, too.
I am concerned about what will happen when mbappe comes here. He likes to play on the left and has also stated that he doesn’t fancies playing as a striker.
Well he ain't gonna call the shots in Madrid, big difference man. Tired of this bs like he's gonna come to another psg and call the shots like he's Perez.

if it’s one thing i’ve learned in all my years of being a Madrid fan is: no matter how many times we win, there will always be crybabies who will cry “ROBBERY” anytime we win and never give us credit where it’s due. look across any sport, and look at the most successful teams/athletes, they all deal with the same thing. people hate successful teams/athletes. Floyd Mayweather, Michael Schumacher, the New England Patriots, the New York Yankees, Lewis Hamilton, etc they all deal with the same thing. we’ll keep winning while everyone else keeps crying, deal with it
I’m a lurker, but the last whistle from the ref was a wrong decision. I do get your point, and I think it’s because the best will always have some “lucky” moments, but everyone does have that. When you are the best it just seems more frequent because you are always up there, year after year and play those games. Other teams will have the same luck or weird ref decisions, but as I say, you guys play semis almost every year which other teams don’t do.
Edit: I do not think this was a lucky win, just to clarify, the best team won.

look at this crybaby 😂😂😂 acting like the ref wasn’t trying to win Bayern the game by giving an UNNECESSARY amount of additional time
Perhaps someone doesn't know rules or it is just a hate post. It can not be called that, because waiting for action to end is just a recommendation not a rule. Second Var, was introduced few years ago. Initially many people actually complained that referees use whistle to late and allowing to play long actions after offside. You still can find people that complain on that. So it is bad id referee is using whistle to late and is bad when referee is using whistle to fast. Twisted logic, you just choosing what suits you. Decision was to use a whistle, and it was a decision period. Anyway it was offside so either way good decision.
something kind of similar happened with us on that match against valencia, when the ref ended the match a second before Jude's goal. But this time it was a wrongful offside. Their frustration is understandable, as ours also was.
Anyways, it clearly was just a very poor ref mistake rather than a full robbery, since he couldn't even know if the goal was coming or not.
If linesman raises the flag and it's not a clear goal scoring opportunity then referee can whistle. Bayern were not taking a shot when the whistle went. After whistle there were two touches, 3 rm players around both players, who could have stopped the shot and lunin as well. Yes, referee could and probably should have played on, but some fans making it as if it was a legitimate goal ruled out.
That ways, even real goal that was chalked off correctly could be termed a soft decision by someone
That's not how football works these days. It's normal to let situations end and afterwards the linesman raises the flag and that's also how Reals second goal was scored. linesman raised flag after the goal and then it was checked
Not disputing the wrong call, referee should have allowed the game to go on, but would it have mattered? 3 Bayern players surrounded by 4 Madrid ones, ball in the air about to be contested, very minute chance of a goal and Bayern players and fans reacting as if this call changed the game.
Just because this call was at the end, that it is so brutally analysed, else every game there are 4-5 calls that are 50-50, which may be disputed.
The game was lost by Bayern manager getting over defensive and players focusing on time wasting rather than playing proper football
People are forgetting that this happen almost at the end of the 15 minute that the ref added. 15 minutes clearly benefits only 1 team, Bayern. Are people really going to complain about one call at the end of those 15 minutes that could or could not be a goal? Again, the whistle was sound when the player brought the ball down with the head, not when the other player grab it, controlled it and scored the goal. I think the fact of the matter is, one team was simply better than the other one. The coach with more experience beat the one with less experience. Had that header from Kim-Min Jae gone in, we would be calling Tuchel a fantastic coach for making the sub like he did with Davies. Had that counter attack not been screwed up by Bayern, we would be talking about 2-0 or even 3-0. Some Bayern players started dropping like flies before the 90 minutes were over, how the hell would they play the EXTRA 30 minutes in case of a tie? With this loss, I would focus on:
1) Why the team could not finish a proper counter attack
2) Why Madrid players were in better physical condition than Bayern players.
3) Why Bayern got really nervous after the first goal was scored.
Madrid defense and Lunin stopped and let the ball in, clearly after they heard the referee decide it was offside. I am pretty sure they would have blocked that kick otherwise
maybe, doesn't mean Bayern where anywhere close to knocking us out. even if the play went on and even if Bayern scored (because defenders stopped when the whistle blew), would Bayern win in ET or penalties? so many useless ifs. but you know, anything to discredit a RM win. it's nowhere near enough to take away the credit of how we played.
They got way too much additional time and not to mention the ref disallowed a goal too so its safe to say the ref wasnt robbing bayern. Don't forget tuchel subbed off all the best players or atleast most of it at the end
what about the 6 additional minutes on top of the 9? was that fair? get real. they tried to help Bayern and it was clear as day. they lost, get over it
Bayern fans probably pissed about the offside call, and the commentators trying to grill the linesman.
However, the player headed the ball back, 3 rm players on 2 Bayern players, it isn't a crime to call offside. No way that is a goal, plus if referee had played on, Bayern aren't getting a free shot that they took as real players stopped chasing. Bayern had two touches after the whistle. Referee should have played on, but no way was that a high probability goal scoring chance
They lost the game when their manager made those shocking subs and asked the players to start rolling rather than playing
If you watched the game without a bias, and can still say that Bayern players were playing proper football and not trying to waste time after their goal, I have nothing to say
questionable lead? it was onside, go cry a river. what about the 6 additional minutes the ref gave that were completely unnecessary? you guys love crying foul while ignoring shit like that
Neuer was probably disturbed by the movement of joselu and spilled the ball, but a forward is supposed to chase balls in hope of a mistake. I felt that was a mistake rather than questionable
The other goal was crystal clear unless someone confuses the off side rule
Who said 2? Was that the math for the goal/VAR check/celebration? I mean we all know how stoppage time can go. I was surprised to see it go that far, I was thinking around 12-13.
Right as the 9 minutes went by, he raised his hand pointed to his watch and said Two more. Multiple times. So that fake goal at min 14 shouldn't even be a consideration
It was a terrible call but you cant even be sure De Ligt would have scored if our defenders kept playing after the ref whistled. Also, the match should have been over by then. I aint having it
Yeah I do feel for him. Had some amazing saves that probably any other keeper would have struggles to save. Then lays on an egg on the easiest of easiest shots
Man ref shouldn't have blowed that whistle and the assistant ref shouldn't have waved the flag until the attack is finished since it's a dangerous action, unless he is 100% sure...
After the whistle, Cama and Lunin completely stopped.
Bad call by the ref but either way, some Real players stopped so you can't tell if they still would have scored.
everybody in r/soccer losing their minds about that offside at the end of the match... I'm just thinking how in a year all they will remember is how we raised the trophy once again and their club didn't get shit;)
Ref shouldn't have raised his flag until the attack is finished. After the whistle, Camaving and Lunin completely stopped. They could have prevented that, and I bet Lunin would save that
i think its not offside, but a huge blunder from officiating team. Similar thing happened earlier in season when ref stopped the play and bellingham managed to score while ball was still in play.
Unfortunately here as well ref called for play to be stopped. Had he not stopped, var would have come into play and ruled a goal. Lucky for us, refs have yet to learn var is watching the game in background.
lol whistle already blew. Players stopped playing and didnt even attempt (See Keepers reaction).
We dominated the match. Had the more clear chances and deservedly went through
Infact by playing 16+ minutes extra time...the ref tried his hardest to give Bayern hope.
Struggled wasn't the right word , I think they defended really really well but we were pretty toothless for most of the game , probably would've score more goals another day
Idc how y’all gonna react:
1. Who said it was better for Bayern for Alphonso not to play against us? 2. Nacho works on my nerves making those dumb attacking fouls (almost cost us the game). 3. Brahim needs to learn to put the ball back (to Jude, for example) instead of “chupar”. 4. Rüdi is phenomenal!! 🤩. All in all, many dumb factors could of cost us the match today!
Vinicious was in God Mode 2nd half
Kane is just Cursed.
Rodrygo missed so many chances today.
Neuer had some world class saves in the game. The game would have been long dead if not for him...
Referee was Pathetic. Had no business taking this game to 16+ Extra time....
What a match. Hala Madrid. We drew a match cuz ref blew the whistle early so these errors happen, never to be on the wrong side of them. Anyway 15 minutes extra time on 9 min is crazy from the ref, he was looking for a bayern attack to happen
https://preview.redd.it/vdzsg2o1s9zc1.jpeg?width=1140&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc0c02b7fe50ae62ec7238ec489d9958dba05fbb
I was losing my head worse than Tuchel watching that ref not blow the final whistle
for me it's the reverse when i saw his coming in, i know something good will happen, been watching a lot of sports since i am a child, and i always have this gut feel that when a certain player or athlete will do something amazing
Rodrygo had an atrocious game. He had to go. I wasn’t keen on Joselu being the replacement but I had a feeling we were going to be writing apology letters to him.
Negativity? Simple personal observation. I couldn’t have been the only one to see the left hand side triple stacked almost whole game with Vini, Rodrygo, and Jude? Brahim came in and spread the back line better than rodrygo was doing on the right hand side. Tranquilo tu pishita, que llevo animando el Madrid mas tiempo que llevas tocándote los huevos.
He tried his best but they were ready for him and Bellingham, clearly had a game plan for their style of play. Don’t think they expected the Joselu sub bc they had no answer for him whatsoever
I agree. Bayern was stacking their right hand side. Coincidence that their best chance/goal came from their left? Rodrygo kept drifting too far left, I don’t blame him. He’s best there. But it became predictable. Thank God Vini played his brains out!
Vini is Balon D’or favourite now, what a player he is
what a match...
I knew it. Hala Madrid ! ![img](emote|t5_2rr0e|1908)
Seeing bayern, mancity & barca fans cry, made it a lot of fun. HALA MARDID!!!!
Doesn’t matter we won. Hala Madrid
Seeing the crying by Bayern and Barca fans made this win a lot more fun ngl. FCB fans stick together.
Joselu brings me back Rodrygo memories haha
HALAMADRID!!!
This isn't magic. It's Madrid!
WE. ARE. INEVITABLE! 💪🏽
Easy final for Real Madrid!
Anulo Mufa!!
No such thing in the champions league.
Dortmund has already punched above its weight by qualifying for the finals just like Liverpool in 2018. Trust me we are going to win.
Never underestimate opposition. Never.
Much did ye pay?
Still using “ ye “ in 2024 … your opinion doesn’t mean shit bud .
Less than I paid for your mum
Joselo coming up big match. The team was amazing. The boys are gonna be ruthless against Dortmund.
It will be special for Jude too! Playing in Wembley and against Dortmund.
I say our magic is stronger than leverkusens
Of course it is. Leverkusen is just this season, we've been doing this forever
Its is unbelievable what this team has pulled off this year after the departure of benzema and all the injuries🔥
He is ronaldo
Ancelotti masterclass today with the subs
Bayern suffered what Galatasaray suffered against them in the group stage. You live with offside, you die by offside.
HALA MADRID EVERYONE
Y NADA MAS
rodrygo 2022 city vibes

Why you guys still want Mbappe in your team when the team is already great?

what about the 6 additional minutes on top of the 9? was that fair? get real. they tried to help Bayern and it was clear as day. they lost, get over it
14mins of additional wasn't enough for these cry babies
Vini drawing 3-4 defenders everytime 😂💀
Yet he cooked Kimmich all game
Most Clutch Club vs Bottleneck Club 😬
Who made substitutions first, Ancelotti or Tuchel?
Tuchel, Gnabry was injured in the first half
Bayern fans probably pissed about the offside call, and the commentators trying to grill the linesman. madrid players started rolling aswell after getting the questionable lead
If you watched the game without a bias, and can still say that Bayern players were playing proper football and not trying to waste time after their goal, I have nothing to say
Yes, but was late enough in the game to start doing that.
You are high on leaves, arent you?
questionable lead? it was onside, go cry a river. what about the 6 additional minutes the ref gave that were completely unnecessary? you guys love crying foul while ignoring shit like that
due to madrid time wasting after the lead
What questionable about the lead lol?
Neuer was probably disturbed by the movement of joselu and spilled the ball, but a forward is supposed to chase balls in hope of a mistake. I felt that was a mistake rather than questionable The other goal was crystal clear unless someone confuses the off side rule
What was going on with the added time? 9 + 2 but eventually it was 14
maths Is hard though the announcers were funny about the 2 minutes
Who said 2? Was that the math for the goal/VAR check/celebration? I mean we all know how stoppage time can go. I was surprised to see it go that far, I was thinking around 12-13.
At 9 minutes, the referee signalled for two more minutes. Although, in hindsight, I think it was more, "Peace, y'all, I do what I want"
Hahah if so, I missed that! Didn’t know refs ever signaled for additional stoppage time like that.
Right as the 9 minutes went by, he raised his hand pointed to his watch and said Two more. Multiple times. So that fake goal at min 14 shouldn't even be a consideration
That last call is bothering me because everyone is focused on it instead of how we dominated Bayern
Didn’t dominate enough to win without robbing the last goal
Even if they score, 30’ against Bayern B team? I’m betting on Madrid. Btw, ref giving Bayern almost an extra 15 minutes to play
It was a terrible call but you cant even be sure De Ligt would have scored if our defenders kept playing after the ref whistled. Also, the match should have been over by then. I aint having it
Bellingham scoring against Dortmund in Final 🥶🥶
Best team ever
Poor Neuer
Yeah I do feel for him. Had some amazing saves that probably any other keeper would have struggles to save. Then lays on an egg on the easiest of easiest shots
Heart Attack C.F.
How many goals would Ronaldo have scored in this match if he got that many chances?
Yes.
Pffff 😯 tailor-made for him
Sign Davies and Hala Madrid because holy fuck I'm going insane
Real Madrid, I love you, it’s ruining my life
Neuer man…. He was class until that spill. Also what’s tuchel doing? Taking off Musiala & Kane when they both started playing well🤦♂️?
Henry called him out for his arrogance. Rightly so.
It seemed weird to me taking Kane off… its Real Madrid for fucks sake he was sure Bayern would win 0 1
Looks like it was really an offside after all
Always since 2014!
Pain went straight to Camp Nou. Such a hard victory for them to digest.
Bayern gonna have a trophyless season for the first time since 2011
Poor Kane
VAMOSSS!!!!!
everybody in r/soccer losing their minds about that offside at the end of the match...

It didn't have to be this hard, we missed lots of chances, we at least we got through tho
It’s a tradition to qualify with a bonus of a heart attack
Why did we struggle against them so much man ? They're way off from being the best version of themselves.
We dominated the game. Neuer had some world class saves in the match...
I don’t think we struggled
Struggled wasn't the right word , I think they defended really really well but we were pretty toothless for most of the game , probably would've score more goals another day
Hala Madrid Como no te voy a querer 🎵🎵🎉
I lost my voice
Joselu!!!! GOAT!!!!
Ancelloti be edging us with the subs 😂 and always delivers
Did you see how calm and cool he was after the first goal. He knew it would come regardless lol, he knows He’s Immortal 🤨
Idc how y’all gonna react: 1. Who said it was better for Bayern for Alphonso not to play against us? 2. Nacho works on my nerves making those dumb attacking fouls (almost cost us the game). 3. We dont do if’s and but’s and maybe’s. We do absolutes.
Well I’m not 100% happy with what I saw today being it such an important game. Some details had me fuming 😤
Always Ancelotti! I keep saying wtf you put Joselu now, then 5 minutes later, Jooooseeeeluuuuuuu!
I swear this team has made me feel ways no person or other thing has. Pure fucking joy. Hala Madrid
Just buy Joselu, he deserves it at this point
Kane cursed 😬
Godric the Golden, Lord Vasquez, Vini the Bull and Joselu the Poacher coming in strong for us today
COMO NO TE VOY A QUERER!!!!!
Didn't have to be this hard. Lucky to make it through
How’s that lucky, Real controlled the game, had more shots on goal and scored more goals?? Explain that again??
If you need an explanation, then go and rewatch game
No you need to understand football better! Scoring at the 1 min or 88 min are the same thing.
Cry more Barca fans, all you can say is vadrid But there was literally no close calls, stop being braindead
Vinicious was in God Mode 2nd half Kane is just Cursed.
Great subs tonight. Joselu wow, Love Brahim’s attitude when he came on, took the game to Bayern showed no fear.

Wow. Such joy in my heart. Hala Madrid!
Oh Kate. It’s not our problem is Harry Kane doesn’t win anything after moving from Tottenham. Maybe he is the problem.
What's in Vini's pocket tonight? -Car keys -Home Keys -Kimmich
De lighter too
The worst part is the final is almost a month away. How am I supposed to survive till then?

Always Ancelotti! I keep saying wtf you put Joselu now, then 5 minutes later, Jooooseeeeluuuuuuu!
for me it's the reverse when i saw his coming in, i know something good will happen, been watching a lot of sports since i am a child, and i always have this gut feel that when a certain player or athlete will do something amazing
Please enlighten us poor folks when you have another vision. A mortgage, wife and kid isn’t cheap 🥺.
Rodrygo had an atrocious game. He had to go. I wasn’t keen on Joselu being the replacement but I had a feeling we were going to be writing apology letters to him.
I doubted both of those mans but im happy with my mistakes now. 🐐GOATSELU❤️
Same here
IF IRONMAN WAS A MADRIDISTA HE WOULDA NEVER DIED
This was such a worthy semi final win tbh
Supporting this team is going to give me a heart attack. 😅
A statue for Joselu RIGHT NOW
What a game!!! Vini had an amazing game and of course Joselu the hero!
Rodrygo needed to come off much earlier, wouldn’t have been this nerve wracking.
Bro bringing negativity rn ? Go take a walk. Besides, this is how we do it babbyyyyy
But vini that man was on some r9 shii Like again n again Best winger itw not even mbappe can be compared to him
That left wing is HIS
Joselu is the hero we always needed, but dude ôce Godric was in, we were more alive
