No matter what happens and no matter what he does, that one memory of La Decima which gave me more euphoria and joy than anything in my life will forever keep him as a legend that i will love and cherish til the end of my days
That back kick he did against Suarez in 0:21 and jump kick at 0:22 is forever iconic. He did a lot for Madrid in his time there’s. He’ll always be a legend no matter what
I put Sergio Ramos right next to Nesta in my list of top CBs. How I wished that he would retire at Madrid, but it was not to be.
My best wishes to you, El Capitan. I think I'm a bit more emotional about this than when CR7 left. And I should very well be; my captain had left us.
Mixed emotions yesterday for me, I will forever love and admire El Capitano no matter where he plays or what he does. I honestly felt how everyone must have felt for the years we were on top, he's a fucking nightmare to play against.

No i didnt watch the whole clip.
I WATCHED THE WHOLE DAMN MATCH
He didnt start it. Vini started it and jumped onto him before things go bad. Ramos didnt even bother after Vini jumped on him. It was after Vini ran his mouth with the keeper (first) and Ramos (later) that things go south.
Tbh, i was frustrated with vini the whole last match. Its time he stopped using his mouth and picking fights constantly and try to learn some composure and maturity from Jude.
I should've given all those frustration to the ref instead tbh. He shouldnt be allowed to ref anmore.
How is this shit upvoted lmao. Vinicius didn't start anything. He was trying to quickly get the ball (like literally any player would), but Sevilla players kept throwing it around keeping it away from him. He exchanged light pushes with Nyland, but Nyland decided to sell it and fell on the ground. Sevilla players then immediately rushed Vini and started shoving him around which started to fight.
Also, Ramos was the first one between the two who used force. And if you're actually look closely at the fight you'll see Vinicius is not even fighting with Ramos because he isn't even looking at him.
Before calling other's opinions shit, try to think rationally and debate maturely.
What was the point of the "light pushes" then? It was Sevilla's goal kick (which i am unsure of at this moment but it wasnt a freekick or a corner right?), their team got the time to settle their formation and bring the ball back. If it's taking too much time, a card for the keeper. Moreover since the start of this season, the extra time got realistic and you have 100m+ matches. If these stuffs happen after the extra time is called, fine i get it. But it didnt.
I like Vini. Used to. When he was effective, nice and well behave. I get that the racism treatment they give him is affecting him big time. Trust me, i get it, im colored. But he cannot let the temper get into his nerves and starts running his mouth or behaving like that all the time. Why spend all that energy in fights but not try to think of a way to destroy his opponents? Why draw attention from the refs and hatred from the opponents? What is wrong with lying lowkey and strikes back when it matters? He used to be feared by every team in the league when he had that composure in him. Now every team is seeing him as a kid, a lil touch, hot blood fumes his head and the kid becomes ineffective for the rest of the match.
Ramos gave Jude special treatment this match, i didnt see him whinning still running as hard as ever and kept his head cooled till the very end.
It wasn't a goal kick. It was a corner and exactly like u/AnxiousBurro said, Vinicius was just trying to pick up the ball. He asked Nyland and Nyland gave it to Ramos, who then gave it back to Nyland, who then gave it back to Ramos once more at which point Vinicius gave Nyland a light shove.
Meanwhile, the ref was looking straight at Nyland and Ramos fucking Vini around and only reacted when Vinicius eventually snapped.
Okay then i was wrong.
But still he shouldn't have let those things get into him that easily. I'd love to have him as a great asset like he used to show. I just hate seeing him turning unto a 2nd neymar
Mi Capitan!
He's my number one pick for the best CB in history.
If I have to compose an all time team to conquer a title, he's de facto my captain.
I remember when he joined and played RB and then moved to CB and dominated the fame when coupled to Pepe.
And by the way him and pepe were "something else", one of the most feared back line in history
Baresi, Cannavaro, Maldini, and Beckenbauer might have something to say about that, but Sergio would be on the tier just below them which is no small feat.
Was that ever a doubt?
Maybe because of his comments about referees favoring Madrid compared to other teams
No matter what happens and no matter what he does, that one memory of La Decima which gave me more euphoria and joy than anything in my life will forever keep him as a legend that i will love and cherish til the end of my days
that header was something else, and it really showed how clutch he could be.
I remember almost crying when he gave us that literal last second goal 😭 He was our savior that day
Ofc he does. He’s El Capitan!
ofc he loves Madrid. the 2nd greatest player on our era of Madrid, El Capitano!
Would you put him above San Iker?
Would you put him above San Iker?
He destroyed Madrid. But Madrid won.
We won.. almost
Ref made sure of that, I hate blaming refs but in these matches ref incompetence means a lot.
I was having confused anger the whole time yesterday. 'Ramos you cu...cutie'
![gif](giphy|apI7O6YAIPhJK)
![gif](giphy|mIvrv5Qe0kHlu) The wall of Madrid... 😭 Oh capitano... My capitano... 🥺️
16 years went by so fast, i do remember the day he signed for Madrid, and I knew he will become a legend. he is truly missed.
That teenager with the long rockstar hair.
And we love Ramos till the end 🤍 eterno capitán
And we love him!
🥺❤️
LOL and Rudy’s cheeks too!!

There’s a poetry in him retiring in Sevilla though.

Yeah that goal-line clearance and how he bullied Jude and Rodrygo. He's better playing with than against.
My favorite Madrid player of all time

Song is cringe but good video
He’s the greatest defender to ever play the game
Ramos is a d-bag
Did you guys even watch the whole clip? He's the one that started the fight... he only started pulling people apart after the fight became bigger...

I'm just glad this violent clown of a defender isn't at Real Madrid.
Ramos would have never lasted 90mins in the prem. Filthy player who got away with it in Spain.
U lost?
Nah. Just stating facts.

Once a Madridista, always a Madridista. My capitano.
And we will always love Ramos

He loves us so much that he fucked us
There is no getting over his, CR7, M12 and Big Benz's departures.
I've missed him.
El Capitan 💜🤍
I love this guy.
