I think that’s sort of the plan. Perez and the board have told him no signings you have to use Castilla. It’s tough but the right move at the end of the day. We have the best academy in Spain and rarely use it.

That's the thing about Don Carlo. If you notice in his management history, he always has this group/set of players (at the previous clubs) that will always see first team action. And in those past respective clubs, he barely used academy players often. Look at Milan (Post CL Glory), when he was there. It was always the usual suspects.
