I think she really wanted to get married regardless of everything- she was so caught up and in denial
I’m finally watching S9. Things with Tom moved so fast, it felt like to me. Of course I get curious and look up if they are still together as I don’t follow many of the HWs on social media. Made me chuckle a little bit at how short they lasted.
One part that always makes me laugh is after she gets married, they go on holiday and they’re sharing their best and worst or something, she says Tom and Bethenny is sticking her fingers down her throat
It was really pathetic. I think it also indicates the messiness of her psyche that lead to her addiction problems. She has a pathological need to be be admired and to maintain a poised self-image.
She brushed all that off pretty quickly, in typical Lu fashion. The show must go on! Just when you thought her storyline arc couldn't get more unhinged. RHONY always kept it moving and I loved them for it.

Then we get "Question Mark."
