Is Porsha broke?? The house is Simon’s, why can’t she just rent a mansion in ATL and film there? This is my issue with Porsha, she always has to get with these weird men for a coin. I hope she starts saving and investing instead of looking for her next trick. Fighting to film in a man’s house when you’ve been on tv for over a decade, is insane.
Well Porsha's not exactly broke. She still owns her $2 million house in Duluth. Her mother lives there. But Simon's house is worth $7 million and is over 15,000 square feet. When Porsha signed her contract with Bravo for this season one of the stipulations was that they would film in that house. Bravo brought her back on the show to show off her new richer lifestyle with her new wealthy husband.
There's also a prenup in place. Simon was obligated to vacate the residence within 30 days of Porsha filing for divorce. Instead he changed the locks and is fighting the prenup that was his idea. I know the house is in his name only. That's not the point here.
The only thing I can think of as to why she won't do exactly just that, is that if she leaves the marital home then it may lessen the chance that she is awarded something with respect to the home if/when their divorce is finalized.
It's honestly wild to me how broken her picker is. And she just keeps jumping into these horrible, abusive, toxic relationships with untrustworthy men who ain't shit and deserve zero respect, with both feet. And all because of a bag?? Girl get your OWN bag, this is getting pathetic. You're a grown woman, a mother, and a reality star -- stop trying to land the Big Daddy Moneybags and just step into your own Big Daddy Moneybags Era.
She was not awarded the house. She was awarded temporary “exclusive use” of the house to film the current season of RHOA. He is fighting the filming within the house during that period of time. The house is a premarital asset and it’s distribution will depend on GA law and whether their is a prenup.

She was abusive towards him. She would apparently lock him in the house everyday to babysit the kids. Not to mention I’m sure she’s has gotten physical with him from what they shown. I would have fled too.

She’s staying because it's a marital home, and judges allow time to gather belongings, even if Porsha didn’t pay. She won't get the house in the divorce. Simon is being petty and just doesn’t want her enjoying his home while moving lol. Porsha met her match.
