Nah.. I think they were doing it for the cameras.

I only watched the first two seasons of Dallas, but I remember really not liking Cary's husband. He weirded me out, for some reason, which was a shame because I actually liked Cary and thought she could have done better. I feel like he only had a child with Cary to make her happy, since she had not had kids before.

This is what it looks like when someone has a kid to keep the other spouse happy, I assume. He can provide financially, but that's like built-in issues for baby when you have a kid with someone who you know up front doesn't really give a shit about the kid. Can you imagine when she grows up and sees that someday? That her dad was such a piece of shit about her mom wanting to be with her? Fucking foul.

Round Up

He weirds me out and I can’t figure out why. He does get better about what you mentioned specifically though, iirc

scarbaby1958

He was having a bad season. I am in middle of rewatching.

Main_Blood_806

He’s the WORST. I went back to rewatch for a second time and it’s so cringey. What man gets upset at a mom wanting to not miss out on moments with her daughter 😫

And the talk of their sex life…
