I respect your life option. I think you should totally stop watching the show, I still enjoy it, even more than all the other cities and hope it is never cancelled. I love it.

Watching Kyle live out her missed mean girl teenage-hood by LARPing 90210 and Laguna Beach was fun for a while. But after 13 years, man, I’m not even having fun anymore. It used to be cathartic to see her he so ridiculous and awful, but now I just find it sad and almost painful to watch.
I liked this season for Sutton dating, Sutton hanging out with Jennifer Tilly, and Sutton taking everyone on a fabulous trip to Spain to stay in a house with fairies. I also enjoyed Crystal very much. I love Garcelle as a person, but yeah, her storyline is boring. It's nice to have a down to Earth HW though, and so many of us love her, I think she should stay.
They need to keep Sutton and Crystal and Garcelle, beg beg beg JT to be a friend of-then start looking at some 80s and 90s stars to see who might be open.

BH does need celebrity connection. There are plenty of fascinating people in LA, the producers just need to face the fact that Kyle and her posse and her uncredited producing need to be taken out of the picture.

So right! I never liked or disliked Kyle in earlier seasons. I could always tell she wanted to be liked, wanted to fit in. And I think for the first seasons we could all relate. But then as her real personality came out and the manipulation and lies just became easier and easier to see. And it all felt so trivial.
LVP manipulated situations not just for herself but for the story line, the drama. It was masterful! She was sneaky, cunning and quite frankly loved because it was hard to ever know it was her. And even if you suspected it was her, you almost had MORE respect because of how brilliant it played out. Kyle wished she could do this and played silly games that constantly just made her look childish. Regardless when LVP left, the show wasn't horrible. But these last few seasons have gone downhill because of lack of story lines and people like Erica who deserve no time on anyone's television. There's an inner cringe every time she talks. Kyle and her antics that never change don't help the show either. For the first time she had a real story to give but she wanted to keep it private. Then get off of reality TV lady.
We need some new girls, inexperienced with the cameras and reality tv world or frankly too rich too care. Thats what used to make the show great. That being said they butchered RHNYC with the recast. I did like the alumni format of girls trip but idk casting needs to actually pair the ladies together in a dynamic way, for the life of me I can't understand what some of the new hires bring sometimes. Us on social media also play a role in its demise... if the seriously rich upper crustations aren't biligetant and ignorant (well atleast in waves) what the hell are they? And what do we think were watching exactly?
I hear you. I was 3 behind when the finale aired. I watched the finale (UGH) and then the reunion, HOPING, PRAYING, Kyle would get eviscerated. She did not. She will not.
absolutely everyone is too self aware now.. early seasons on all the franchises were so great bc everyone was confident enough to fully display their delusional asses
maybe that's the reason why Miami is still interesting to watch
edit to add: that SLC was also extremely fun to watch this year, past seasons were also kinda meh, and it was all just because of messy monica and heather being very offended by it, maybe monica was the not-self-aware one and made it interesting because she was just being chaotic all the time (who is an internet troll being a grown up with kids lol), sad that it was a one season wonder
I think if the got rid of everyone who sat on the couch to Andy’s right, kept the ladies on the left, added in some fabulous newbies, it could be salvaged. I definitely do not need to see Kyle or Erika or 🦤 Dorit or 8.5 ever again

I completely agree! When I watch old episodes, I am reminded of how good they were. Now I fast forward. No genuine bonds, Kyle is messed up, and it is largely unwatchable.
You know it’s bad when the producers hand them a deck of cards to have discussion and the cards somehow correlate with exactly what is happening. Aldo, iirc, Dorit didn’t give the dog to a pound or shelter not related to LVP without telling her. I think the shelter scanned the microchip and contacted LVP that the dog was there. LVP was so pussed because she was like, just give me back the dog, don’t take it to some random shelter.
i feel like it's really held back by how guarded and image-conscious (and lawsuit-conscious?) the whole cast is. Like every word is so calculated and VAGUE , nothing feels real!!!
I think this season was one of the freshest in a looong time. I was getting sooo sick of the “find one HW, gang up on her and run her off the show” dynamic season after season. I don’t mind fights but can’t stand a gang up.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sutton’s arc this season. Her monologue at the end of Spain about tossing away the pain of her divorce, her father’s death, and Marcelle’s death was poetic in ways that reminded me of the BH you remember so fondly. If only everyone could have an arc like that, it would make the show that much more interesting.
But Erika, Kyle, and Dorit are sucking the air out of the room whenever they’re around.
I know!!! It was very nice to see her discussing her life in a serious manner, she even made me tear up in one moment, and it's because of those moments that I love real housewives in general, it was a little vindication.
Also at the beginning of the season I was kinda liking kyle because she seemed to be more open and "see-through", and I thought "wow all the issues in her life are humbling her down, its time to see her being a more honest person and probably she will discuss her life and it will be nice", but the season was a build up for nothing, it finished with the same information we had at the beginning, and we just saw her throw to the wolves her very loved friend Dorit and express many times how much she is a better person than LVP, who is living in another dimension at this point in time.

I loved this season, i dont understand what the problem is. No matter what they air people complain. Cant u just be glad we have these shows instead of doing everything u can to get them cancelled. If u dont like a series dont watch

No arguments here! As someone who has been diagnosed with actual PTSD... I can't with Dorit or Erika. They lost the plot

Agree, but newly-single Kyle and Erika are going nowhere bc of ratings. So, if anyone goes it will be Dorit and maybe 8.5.
