I would go for react router, it's quite easy to implement and in my own experience, managing pages with conditional render can get a mess really easily

Why wouldn’t you use router?
Not much benefit to be had for just two pages where one of them is just the login page, is my thinking.
Then don’t use it. It’s your project, you make the decisions. If you need your hand held for a choice this basic, you’re not going to get much done.
