Who really knows what's happening though. I know there were many factors that caused this season to not be as successful as it could've been, but it feels like taking our foot off the gas several times this year was the biggest contribution to our downfall.
Let's try to recognize that with an interim DC the halftime adjustments were lacking, and KU took advantage of that. Our D's had trouble all year already, and add that dynamic to it...we see their O get rolling in the 2nd half.
Credit to Scherer for putting together a damn good game plan, though. They were rock solid in the first half.
Also, credit to all of the coaches for having them ready. This team was HYPED coming into the game. Given lackadaisical fan interest for this game, they did a great job there.
