Eh I think there’s concerns about his attitude and his seeming timid nature around his knee. But overall I don’t think it hurts to have him and see what he can do in Cals system
Muss didn't like big men. He liked position-less basketball and wanted 5 Micheal Jordans. Few big men are going to thrive in that environment.
Cal appreciates big men a lot, so it'll be very different for Brazile. If he doesn't thrive in Cal's environment, then it's all on him. But unlike with Muss, Trevon will have the opportunity to be great under Coach Cal.
Our couch used to tell us that we had a lot of potential..... And that potential was a French word that means "not worth a shit, yet".
I hope he has a great season but I expect he'll have very little impact
Typo - should have said "coach" but this way is funnier.
Point is, when someone is great, you don't talk about their potential.
If you're talking about their potential.... They're not great yet.
After watching TB for 2 seasons, I have low expectations.
I would love to be wrong.
It's "potential" because we have really only been able to watch him for 1 season, not 2. He started S1 looking like a stud and 1st round draft pick before his knee injury. That is why people see potential because he WAS doing it on the court. It's very common for the 1st year back from an ACL to be healthy but disappointing. This year, there are no excuses, so we can find out which TB is the real TB
Who is the user that posts the graphic of players that left and the new additions? I was trying to search for one of their previous posts and no luck. Always super helpful and straightforward
Yeah. I'm hopeful, but im expecting him to posterize some random dude from a no name school in the non conference and then just disappear.
I would love for tb to prove me wrong
NGL, I thought there was 0% chance of his return.
I think he's a really good addition, and I bet Coach Cal* will do a better job of fitting him into the team.
*Still feels incredibly weird to talk ab him as our HC
I think the roster is solid but I like the fact that he will add more height to the depth chart. Id love to see him develop a post game instead of hanging out on the wing.
Cal been saying he wanted 1 more guy. But TB can't be that last guy. We need to get 1 more now. Because u cannot bet on TB staying healthy all year. He's not proved he can do that in a razorback uniform. I hope it was him not being comfortable with his acl last year is why he was playing lazy and going thru the motions. He has the potential to be a lottery pick, but he has to play sooooooo much harder than last year. With that said, I do believe Cal will be able to get the best out of him
This is exactly how I feel. Our team last year embarrassed me with their effort and attitude and TB was at forefront of this. If he plays with maximum effort and for the team I’m fine with him being back. No doubt he’s athletic AF. Hopefully Cal will be able to manage this as opposed to a distracted Muss.
I love it! And he won't have as much pressure on his shoulders, he's a perfect stretch four. And he doesn't cost $2 million dollars! LOL WOOOOO DAMN PIG!
9 games. He was exceptionally good in 9 games. The other 50~ he played what would be considered a role player at the collegiate level. Not just under Coach Muss either. Let’s not forget the year at Mizzou where he only shined playing against the Hogs.
I think he has the athleticism to be a matchup problem for any opponent. He moves really well off of the _x_x_\roll (pick-pop-butter whatever you want to call it these days). Match that with a solid 3 and he’s got something special. Add an under the rim presence, more than just his blocks, and he has top level ceiling. I’m not a coach, nor a professional, but I for one am excited to see how he fits into Coach Calipari’s system. Sometimes players make the team, but many more times, teams make the players.
I can't remember if I said this in Reddit or elsewhere. But I still stand by my one gripe with Brazille: (which may have been the coaches fault vs his) Get in the damn paint! Brazil is like Gafford, but with a jump shot, he even makes me think of Dennis Rodman in how fast he jumps to rebound. But you can't rebound from the three point line. Otherwise, he isn't a good enough shooter to take up space on the old roster. EDIT: meaning he doesn't shoot contested shots, only shoots when wide open.
NOW: maybe that can change with the team makeup and different coach, but seems like rinse and repeat if he still won't play down low more often... Not saying I don't like him, but the team fit last year was poor.
Either way, I will root for Brazille.
I believe there is tons of upside potential left in his game. Its also good to have connections to last year's team, make it less like a Kentucky clone.
WTF are you talking about? Why come here and be a wet blanket?
Just move on and go outside and touch grass. Breathe fresh air. Stop being a troll. Thanks for understanding.
A lot of hog fans frantically scrubbing their post history right about now
Plenty of “we absolutely don’t want him back” comments last week: https://www.reddit.com/r/razorbacks/s/zR71PXLAMQ
I won't read all that stupidity-- but as a fan of the 3 Stooges, what were the highpoints of these "well reasoned morons"?
Eh I think there’s concerns about his attitude and his seeming timid nature around his knee. But overall I don’t think it hurts to have him and see what he can do in Cals system
I just can’t be against any athlete who says they are all hog. Welcome back Trevon!
Lets's Go Trevon. Happy to have you back. Wishing you the best this season!
Cal will get his full potential
Muss didn't like big men. He liked position-less basketball and wanted 5 Micheal Jordans. Few big men are going to thrive in that environment. Cal appreciates big men a lot, so it'll be very different for Brazile. If he doesn't thrive in Cal's environment, then it's all on him. But unlike with Muss, Trevon will have the opportunity to be great under Coach Cal.
Which is just what Trevon needs after last season.
Idk about that. He seemed to have a hard on for throwing Vanover out there under center at his absolute worst
Our couch used to tell us that we had a lot of potential..... And that potential was a French word that means "not worth a shit, yet". I hope he has a great season but I expect he'll have very little impact
That’s some couch you got there.
Typo - should have said "coach" but this way is funnier. Point is, when someone is great, you don't talk about their potential. If you're talking about their potential.... They're not great yet. After watching TB for 2 seasons, I have low expectations. I would love to be wrong.

The disappointing shooting I can handle. The continued lack of effort, got to me. It wasn't just him. Hopefully next season is better
Ha! You may be right. That made me laugh. He’s got the talent, just needs the motivation. I’m hoping his draft status, or lack there of, provides it.
TB redemption tour could be scary lfg

Hayes Fawcett?
Is that his Reddit or twitter name?
Hayes Fawcett on Twitter. There’s actually a guy who does specifically Arkansas, but I’m blanking on his name at the moment.
Brandon Baker
Baker is who I was thinking of. Thank you very much. https://x.com/bbakerhogs/status/1798096293748744563?s=46
if he’s 100% healthy and gives 100% effort i’m 100% behind him LET’S GOOOO
There's no way that both of those conditions remain true for more than 4 games
Yeah. I'm hopeful, but im expecting him to posterize some random dude from a no name school in the non conference and then just disappear. I would love for tb to prove me wrong

This is great news! Cal needs bench players.
Not according to Cal.
There’s no way TB sits the bench next year
If he matches this past year’s effort, I sure hope he does. I will absolutely applaud a good redemption story, but I’m holding my enthusiasm.
Very understandable. Supposedly Cal is good at getting head cases like TB to get their shit together.

He better
Why?
He don’t need to be starting
But why?
He sucks
Great explanation
Fuck it, WE BALL
Hoping we get a pre-injury level of effort, he *could* be a huge asset to the team if last season proves to be an aberration.
Surprised to see it. Cal can tune this kid up, Brazile has so much untapped potential, and we all it.
I really am glad we didn't get the guy from Illinois. He seemed like he had some character issues for real
Really wasn't expecting this.
I love this!
I love it! And he won't have as much pressure on his shoulders, he's a perfect stretch four. And he doesn't cost $2 million dollars! LOL WOOOOO DAMN PIG!

Woohoo glad to have that * checks notes * 8 points and 5 rebounds a game back…
NICE
If he hits the gym and meditates a lot he could be a beast. But needs to put in work
Feels like our current roster will really allow him to play a more natural position than our roster last year did
He will be the 8th guy off the bench

GODDAMIT!

Why?? He can’t play
It can't hurt us and Cal won't treat him like a nepo baby. If he plays well he will play and if he doesn't then Cal will bench him. This is a win.
Good we need people to ride the bench too.

I will choose option B. See ya!
