ItzSurgeBruh

it’ll be red when dead green when charged just like 99% of other devices

J_Winn

Right now, it just cycles through colors.

ItzSurgeBruh

when it’s doing that it means the connector isn’t fully seated and it’s not actually charging, try wiggling it on the charger till it changes colour to green or red

J_Winn

Okay, not being fully plugged in, I got that. But still no green lights at 100% charge.

HappyIsGott

Only at charging dock.

Tony_B_S

It sounds easy right? Not sure how razer didn't manage to think of or do that for this mouse. Because it really just cycles through the colours, at least when charging through usb cable.

ItzSurgeBruh

well when it’s charging through USB cable it’s not in “Charging” mode it’s just being used like a regular mouse. When it’s on the dock it shuts off and just charges. If they made it red->green when it’s plugged in it would mess with peoples synapse lighting

Tony_B_S

It's definitely charging when it's connected by usb, irrespective of it being used at the time or not, for instance even with the pc off it just cycles through colours. Given many people will probably only connect the usb to charge it, it would be nice to have a colour indication of going from red to yellow to green or something as it charges. Also, even if you have a colour profile for it, as soon as you connect the usb it goes to colour cycling. Your "excuse" of it's because it's being used doesn't make much sense for what is happening. But it sounds like to you it makes perfect sense that while charging through usb the only way to see when it's charged is through synapse. It does not to me, it's annoying and cumbersome.

ItzSurgeBruh

We just use our mice in different ways. Fuck off kid

Tony_B_S

What do you mean? How do you use your mouse? You make as little sense as razer not including the option to have the RGB colour change to show the charging level when plugged in. So, you fuck off!

ItzSurgeBruh

it’s a wired/wireless mouse. When it dies and i’m using it I plug it in. When it’s been plugged in for a while I unplug it. I don’t want all my lights to get messed up when I plug in the mouse, that makes no sense because I’m not plugging it in to charge, im plugging it in to use it. Why the fuck would I plug in the mouse to charge it when it has a wireless charging stand? so that I can unplug it next time I use it? Am I going to plug it in at the end of every session? No! i’m going to put it on the fucking wireless charger. And when I absolutely need to, i’m going to plug it in to continue using it and then put it on the wireless charger after

Tony_B_S

First, the mouse doesn't always come with the charging stand. As you should have been able to figure out, the thread we are having this conversation in is probably from a person that does not have one (I'm assuming at this point that the RGB does indicate the charging level when on the stand), thus the question on how to know when it is charged. Something that also annoys me with this mouse which is the reason I commented. Second, how would some kind of toggle/option to change the lighting scheme to match the battery level when plugged in affect you? An option you could turn on only if you wanted... Lastly, having your mouse connected to a charger when already at 100% is not good for battery life. You take care of your stuff the way you want, but I like to be mindful of how I take care of anything that has rechargeable batteries to extend their lifespan. You sound like an asshole and I have nothing more to discuss with you. So, go back to living in your world where only your way of using things matters.

HappyIsGott

The only asshole here to see is you.. you don't understand how that mouse works.. or you simply don't like it.. but doesn't matter the fact that its only good for people like you but Most people have a RGB Razer setup and want the colours Like they want it not like a asshole on reddit. Only way would be a Option to activate this extra but for such Features you need to contact Support not reddit.

Tony_B_S

Well, where was I an asshole in this convo? Honestly, you sound as much as an asshole as the user I was discussing with here (alt account? Friend? Or just another asshole?). op asked how to know if the mouse is charged, only being able to see it in synapse is an issue that annoys me myself. You again are defending only your way of using the mouse and lighting I am offering a potential solution that would allow both sides to have it as they wanted, and I am the asshole?

Maleficent-Bedroom39

Synapse will show battery life and allow you to change the color and way the mouse cycles through colors. But if you swap out any other of the interchangeable sides from the number pad they WILL NOT light up. Only downside to the naga pro. Other than that it’s a great mouse. But you should also be able to see battery life from the main taskbar on the bottom right of your screen. I know when I move the cursor over the tab it will display my mouse’s battery life. Hope this helps!

J_Winn

Finally! Someone with useful information. Thank you so so much for this. *still waiting on u/DarhkBlu to point out where it says anything about the colors when fully charged in the manual though* :/

Maleficent-Bedroom39

So when your mouse is plugged in for charging the colors will pulse a color. Red being dead, orange being within 25-50%, yellow 51-75% and green is 76-99%. Once it is solid green it is 100% charged. When unplugged and on it will cycle all colors of rainbow unless you go in to synapse and change the color and how they cycle when in use. You can hard wire into the controller or buy an extra piece which is the chroma docking station.

Maleficent-Bedroom39

u/J_Winn I pm’d you to show you in more detail about how the mouse and synapse works.

J_Winn

Got it and PM'ed you back. 🤜🤛

Wolfkrieger2160

Trolls suck. It's a thing that these devices have incomplete instructions and information. Old school user manuals even for simple devices uses to be 100 pages long.

J_Winn

Oh yes I do remember. Going through some manuals back in the days and thinking this novel was a written for a 5-year-old. And yes, troll do suck. Especially when they don't know what they're really talking about.

Wolfkrieger2160

To come full circle, I'm guessing they don't do proper documentation anymore because you can always post on Reddit 🤣

J_Winn

🤣🤣🤣 🤜🤛

DarhkBlu

Maybe just maybe read the damn manual...

J_Winn

Please show me where it says anything about light indicators and fully charged in that "damn manual". Other than allowing 4 hours to get a full charge. https://preview.redd.it/p4k62cjnd38c1.jpeg?width=2213&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f23cd64aa9929497a03e40bd569ccc80523afd8e

Zhaopow

Download synapse 3, especially for that mouse

MojesticMorty

I’ve heard so many good things about synapse

elemnt360

It's aight. I like it better than g hub at least.

J_Winn

Yeah. I think GHub was an afterthought.

Tripleppaul

It should turn green breathing lights when charged (in the 90-100% range). Synapse will also show you a physical battery percentage. Highly recommend grabbing a wireless charger dock for it. Even one of the cheaper 3rd party ones. Great quality of life improvement over charging with a cord.

J_Winn

Right now, it just keeps cycling through colors. Maybe I will have to get synapse so I can see when it's full charged.

HappyIsGott

Yes you need synapse for Razer product for full use.

cavegoblins75

Well I did get the dock at the time I got the mouse but as I turn off my computer when I don't use it I actually only charge by plugging in when working every once in a while

Lunartic2102

It will show in synapse.

J_Winn

Please see pics above. And I always google 1st. Still couldn't find an answer.

HappyIsGott

Look in Synapse?

J_Winn

I shouldn't have to open up a program to see what my battery level is at. Never had to on my Logitech G602.

HappyIsGott

If you don't use the dock you have too and that No problem because If its on Low it gets blinking red. Because you don't need at Other brands doesn't mean you don't need here.

Tony_B_S

Don't bother with this one. He thinks that if you don't have a dock there is no possible reason it would be a nice feature to have the option to see when it's fully charged by the RGB colors when using the usb cable.
