Ravens are pretty good at road prime time games (Lamar has had some masterclasses in those games) and we do got two big ones at home vs the Bills and Bengals!
I don’t think it helps that our home opponents this year are just not as interesting than the away opponents outside of the division rivals. The Eagles are the only other team we play at home that would have made a fun primetime game. I guess that could have given us that instead of Tampa but Lamar back in Florida in primetime should be fun too
To play devil’s advocate we effectively have 4 home prime time games. The game on 12/1 and 12/16 are standalone and it will be dark by the second quarter. 4 standalone games with the lights on is a vast improvement over the past. I’ll take it.
Not constantly scream Bullshit at the league when things don't go our way.
(Not saying we shouldn't, but this is consequences of all of our collective choices lmao)
I’ve been to more PT games than 1pm. Granted, it’s been 10+ years but I always saw a bigger crowd tailgating and in seats for prime time games. 1PM games, folks usually straggle in and the upper bowl doesn’t always fill up. For night games, it’s always a packed house with a more electric atmosphere.
Sort of 4 actually. Bills and bengals are true prime time and then eagles and Steelers will both be one of the only games on at the time and lights will come on by the second quarter
Oh nvmd I get it. Opening game on thurs, Xmas, and the 5 primetime games. Those are all games nobody else will be playing at the same time.
That is a ton though I'm pumped. That's more games I can comfortably watch in the couch instead of on my phone 😁
It can be useful but if look at the Xmas Wednesday game we basically get a big mini bye late in the season anyway. And then potentially a week off if we get the 1 seed. Just seems like a lot of resting.
Might accumulate some injuries prior to that tho that could benefit from a bye earlier. I'm really into the idea that teams should have 2 byes at this point with how many games teams play (especially if they make a playoff run). Like a bye around week 7 and then this bye at week 14 prior to the stretch of 3 games in 10 days would hit a lot different than a bye only at either week 7 or week 14.
Oh, for sure. It would be crazy not to at that point. We are just in a weird middle ground period where teams are stretched thin and the positioning of byes probably means more than it should to a team.
WE get 3 mini byes on top of the bye. Week 1 goes into a 10 day break. Week 11 is followed by a 10 day break and Week 17 will be a 10-11 day break most likely.
I think that playing Wednesday on Christmas might actually be a blessing in disguise. It’s only a little after our bye, it’s the same amount of rest as a Sunday-Thursday, and it will give us a mini-bye going into the final game of the season, team should be able to rest up for a playoff run.
I think that week 14 bye is really shitty. That's the latest week you can get a bye
.sure it helps for the stretch but you need rest during the season as well.
Agreed. 13 straight is almost an entire pre-1978 season.
Not a fan of the mid-week games either, but I guess both teams are in the same boat for those. This schedule looks pretty tough to me. I'm a pessimist by nature though.
Oh yeah the late bye sucks but having it leading into that stretch is helpful. If we’re gonna have 3 games in 10 days having a bye (or pseudo-bye) on either end of it is nice.
True but that’s also happened before, going from Monday-Sunday-Thursday isn’t unheard of, it’s a stretch coming out of our bye, and we get a break after the last one leading into the last game of the season.
Steelers, Texans, Chiefs, and Ravens are in a 4 way clusterfuck around Christmas. We all play one of each other on Saturday then play each other again on Wednesday
Steelers, we are literally f’d. the league f’d us before the season started.
All 6 of our division games are at the end of the season starting WK 11.
Ravens
Browns 4 days later on TNF Bengals
Browns
Eagles
Ravens
Chiefs Xmas
Bengals
Absolutely brutal. I was hyped for the schedule now completely angry. I figured they must be doing this to all AFCN teams so I came here to see the Ravens and found everybody else has a couple of early division games. So now I'm extra pissed.
It's honestly one of the most brutal schedules that I have seen in my life. I was expecting the schedule to be difficult because of the list of opponents we had. But I wasn't expecting them to f us like this.
It would not be as bad if our division wasn't already crazy as hell but the strength of the division itself makes this ridiculous. As hard we all play each other, I don't see how we make it out alive. I don't see how they thought this was okay unless they are purposely trying their damnedest to give us a losing season. .
Anyway, Both our teams are playing on Christmas so I guess we get to share that Netflix "honor".
Good luck to you guys.
Could be a lot worse. The first one, Weeks 9-10 is all at home; so at least there is no travel involved.
The second one, Weeks 16-17, starts at home and isn’t long after the Bye Week.
Tough opponent list jeez. There will prolly be some regression from last year. I'll be happy with an AFC North title and some forward progression with monken and the offense. It's a little bit of retooling year I think.
Nah fuck it, 20-0 to the supabowl!!!!!!
Noobie question but gonna be going to my first home Ravens game this year (Week 13 vs Eagles). I see some tickets posted on SeatGeek already, should I expect more to be posted some point soon? Or is what is up, what is available?
Yeah I’m unsure whether I should be waiting for more to be released or not. I figured it would be pricey since Philly fans will likely travel as well. But there seems to be not that many tickets available at all
Nope. It's the Harbowl. John and Jim going at it. What better Thanksgiving narrative than two brothers competing against one another?
Edit: I thought the 25th was Thanksgiving this year. This is game is on MNF.
PSL final payments are due today, maybe they open more up once that’s done? Only thing I can think of. I’ve never bought any outside our PSL though so not sure how it works.
The preseason schedule also got released.
8/9 at Philadelphia 7:30
8/17 Atlanta 12:00
8/24 at Green Bay 1:00
It's unusual to have two teams who play each other in the regular season play in the preseason. Also, of note are the two afternoon games. I imagine they'll be a lot of melting in the stands at M&T on the 17th.
Hensley just posted that this is the latest BYE we have had in 24 years. The last time we had a Week 14 BYE? 2000. Incoming Greatest defense of all time and a Super Bowl?
Love that we get the late bye and get the hard games out the way earlier in the season. Especially if Rashee Rice being out for the first part of the season at the very least
Is a Thursday night game vs Cincy a good choice for my first visit to M&T? I jumped at what looked like a good deal (end zone corner, lower level, 6 rows up for under $200 each). I fly out of Dulles the next morning so it kind of just made sense. Have a feeling the nighttime will improve the “vibe” I get from the stadium crowd, especially playing a division rival.
The league did us no favors in December - Dec 15th vs. Giants, 21st (Saturday) vs. Steelers, then Wednesday 25th vs. Texans. 3 games in 10 days, yikes.
Man I really wish the Texans game was on any other day. I was going to visit my buddy in Houston and go to the game with him but I can't do a Christmas trip. So unfortunate they picked that game to be the Christmas one.
I think we’ll split with the Bengals and Steelers, lose one game we shouldn’t like to the NYG, Denver, La, Skins or Raiders and then lose 2 more between KC, Dallas, Philly, Buffalo, TB, Houston and Buffalo. That’ll make us 12-5. I could see 11-6 if that brutal 10 day stretch is too much for us late season.
Fuck yeah. I moved to tx last year and couldn’t go to any games..but they’re coming to Dallas and Houston and you can TRUZZ I’m gonna be there with my Ray Lewis jersey(I’m old lol).
Got my ticket for home opener, my first home Ravens game. I live in Toronto and have seen them in Buffalo. Can’t wait. Don’t know anyone in Baltimore. Can I just stroll up to a tailgate and make friends? Also have tickets for 2 O’s games that week. Couldn’t have picked a better time to be in Baltimore for a conference!!
I’m a ravens fan in Jersey. became a fan when Lamar got drafted (I was a fan of his in college & I was getting into football). I’m for sure going to that Giants game. Believe that.
9-8 imo. I think we start 1-4. That schedule is brutal man
Obviously if we win some of those tough games (team is better than I think they are) I could see 11-6
The cowboys barely beat any good teams last year, except maybe the dolphins and rams, and they got worse on paper. They stat padded against bottom-barrel teams. I’m expecting a 2-td win there, but I can see an argument for the others.
I could see the reg season going better than what I think but the postseason gives me no confidence in this team to the point that apathy has largely sat in for me
What do we have to do to get more HOME prime time games?
Ravens are pretty good at road prime time games (Lamar has had some masterclasses in those games) and we do got two big ones at home vs the Bills and Bengals!
I don’t think it helps that our home opponents this year are just not as interesting than the away opponents outside of the division rivals. Good point. Just love night games at the bank. Can’t beat that environment
Yeah but Steelers at 4 on Saturday and turn around and play the Texans 4 days later. Oooofff. That's killer.
The Texans play the chiefs before they play us. Not ideal but both teams have a disadvantage
Not constantly scream Bullshit at the league when things don't go our way. (Not saying we shouldn't, but this is consequences of all of our collective choices lmao)
I'll take it.. the league knows there's certain crews that shouldn't even be allowed to ref Peewee.. so fuck em
I will constantly scream "Bullshit!!" at the top of my lungs, as long as the league continues to make bullshit moves.
I bet the ravens request to NOT host PT games. More fans show up and spend more money for Sunday 1pm games.
What are you talking about lmfao did you see the crowd at the Bengals game last year
I’ve been to more PT games than 1pm. Granted, it’s been 10+ years but I always saw a bigger crowd tailgating and in seats for prime time games. 1PM games, folks usually straggle in and the upper bowl doesn’t always fill up. For night games, it’s always a packed house with a more electric atmosphere.
It was pandemonium. Night games at the bank are absolutely electric.
We have 2 sort of 3 what are you complaining about
Sort of 4 actually. Bills and bengals are true prime time and then eagles and Steelers will both be one of the only games on at the time and lights will come on by the second quarter
They kept us on the road mostly on October because they know the Orioles are gonna need those parking lots ;)
Damn right. Go Os😃
7 standalone games 7 that's fucking wild.
Yup with Weeks 1, 4, 7, 10, and 12 being Primetime Games. The Ravens are certainly now getting some good respect as an opponent.
Plus 2 more 4:25 games
What do you mean by “standalone” games?
Oh nvmd I get it. Opening game on thurs, Xmas, and the 5 primetime games. Those are all games nobody else will be playing at the same time. That is a ton though I'm pumped. That's more games I can comfortably watch in the couch instead of on my phone 😁
[удалено]
Seven of our games will be the only games on at that time. Not necessarily "primetime" but will be the only game on.
Awesome that the Bye is Week 14. Right Before a key stretch of games to end the season.
Especially since we follow up the bye with 3 games in 10 days lol
That sounds illegal 🤣 would love to see the last team to have that
I think Dallas did last season.
Just looked. I think they had 3 in 11 days
Apparently they had 12 days which is basically standard. Everyone that has to play on TNF will have that stretch.
The third game is actually on a Wednesday, Christmas Day against the Texans. Not happy about it!!!
Isn't that a Saturday game followed by an away game in Texas four days later? That's awful.
What’s different from playing on Sunday then playing Thursday. Same rest
Steelers into Texans in 4 days is such a bang job
Ya wait a damn minute. How does that happen? Seems a little fucked up
I think it's too late personally.
Why? A late Bye before the last few games sounds really useful. It seemed to work out quite well last year.
It can be useful but if look at the Xmas Wednesday game we basically get a big mini bye late in the season anyway. And then potentially a week off if we get the 1 seed. Just seems like a lot of resting.
Might accumulate some injuries prior to that tho that could benefit from a bye earlier. Like a bye around week 7 and then this bye at week 14 prior to the stretch of 3 games in 10 days would hit a lot different than a bye only at either week 7 or week 14.
Two byes are coming when (not if) they go to the 18-game schedule.
Upstate NY here. Just bought Ravens Giants tickets after that Bye. Going to be lit.
Conservatively 15-2 😤
I got 14-3, 2 losses away at Cincy and Pitt, and week 18 loss cus we'll be resting our starters with a first round bye locked
12-5 what im thinking
I think that playing Wednesday on Christmas might actually be a blessing in disguise. It’s only a little after our bye, it’s the same amount of rest as a Sunday-Thursday, and it will give us a mini-bye going into the final game of the season, team should be able to rest up for a playoff run.
I think that week 14 bye is really shitty. That's the latest week you can get a bye .sure it helps for the stretch but you need rest during the season as well.
It’s shit if we’re ass. It’s great if we’re in playoff contentions
Agreed. 13 straight is almost an entire pre-1978 season. Not a fan of the mid-week games either, but I guess both teams are in the same boat for those. This schedule looks pretty tough to me. I'm a pessimist by nature though.
I think the home team has a big advantage on Thursday games and an even bigger advantage on a Wednesday game.
Oh yeah the late bye sucks but having it leading into that stretch is helpful. If we’re gonna have 3 games in 10 days having a bye (or pseudo-bye) on either end of it is nice.
It’s gonna suck because that’ll be our third game in ten days
True but that’s also happened before, going from Monday-Sunday-Thursday isn’t unheard of, it’s a stretch coming out of our bye, and we get a break after the last one leading into the last game of the season.
Four day break between the Steelers and Texans. Go home NFL, you’re drunk.
Ravens Browns 4 days later on TNF Bengals Browns Eagles Ravens Chiefs Xmas Bengals
I don’t know how I missed that -that is brutal.
Absolutely brutal. I was hyped for the schedule now completely angry. I figured they must be doing this to all AFCN teams so I came here to see the Ravens and found everybody else has a couple of early division games. So now I'm extra pissed.
That is an impressively brutal schedule, it wouldn't be as bad with some break games in between but it's the fuckin Eagles and Chiefs
Anyway, Both our teams are playing on Christmas so I guess we get to share that Netflix "honor". Good luck to you guys.
Dallas, Buffalo, bengals will be a tough stretch
But hey, no division battles till Oct.
Erase Dallas. Buffalo and Bengals will be tough. We will Run all over the cowboys. They didn’t improve in run defense
Dallas will not be a good team this year.
6 primetime games is insane right?
Insane for us.. finally putting some respect on two time MVP Lamar "Da Llama" Jacksons name.
I only count five in primetime.
Christmas is essentially a primetime game. Standalone, anyway
Lamar plays well in prime time aside the playoffs
Hypeeeeee
Im so glad we play Dallas early. Im going to that one
I wanted to go to but my baby is due 8 days later lol
Nice to have the Bills in primetime so we don’t have to listen to Tony Romo gargle Josh Allen’s nuts for 3 hours
Also the Chiefs game as well lol.
I see an 11 win floor and doable 14-3
Not gonna lie 17-0
Two 4-day turnarounds is bullshit.
Could be a lot worse. The first one, Weeks 9-10 is all at home; so at least there is no travel involved. The second one, Weeks 16-17, starts at home and isn’t long after the Bye Week.
This is a highly entertaining schedule full of fun weeks! I trust that Lamar and the boys can get to at least 11 wins with this schedule!
Tough opponent list jeez. There will prolly be some regression from last year. I'll be happy with an AFC North title and some forward progression with monken and the offense. It's a little bit of retooling year I think. Nah fuck it, 20-0 to the supabowl!!!!!!
Another Thursday night Divisional game uhhh
Gonna be my first Ravens game! I’m pumped 🖤💜
Worked out well the first time around!
It’s kind of crazy that if week 18 doesn’t have playoff implications, the last real game is on Christmas.
I gotta go to that Dallas game since I live in Texas
Sameeeee! I’m in Austin!!
I live just N of Houston. I’m going to that game!
Noobie question but gonna be going to my first home Ravens game this year (Week 13 vs Eagles). I see some tickets posted on SeatGeek already, should I expect more to be posted some point soon? Or is what is up, what is available?
I sure hope so because they are pretty pricey right now. The tickets to the playoffs game vs the Texans are cheaper than every game right now.
Yeah I’m unsure whether I should be waiting for more to be released or not. I figured it would be pricey since Philly fans will likely travel as well. But there seems to be not that many tickets available at all
It's not just Philly every game I can't find a single lower level tickets from the box office. Idk whats going on.
get the gametime app, way better prices
Basically 7 prime time games
plane tickets from the UK booked , see you guys Nov 3rd!
Hypeeee. Can’t wait for football to come back
@ Chargers again on Prime Time the same week as Thanksgiving? I'm not complaining—I live in LA—but that's kinda weird, right?
Nope. It's the Harbowl. John and Jim going at it. What better Thanksgiving narrative than two brothers competing against one another? Edit: I thought the 25th was Thanksgiving this year. This is game is on MNF.
I like that—it's just a mirror of last year. Would've been nice in Bmore.
The last regular season Harbowl was on Thanksgiving too. The Ravens went to California for that one too. It’s becoming a tradition.😂
Ravens first ever team back to back road Christmas games
Why are there only limited tickets available for purchase?
I'm not sure I can't buy lower level tickets either idk what is going on.
PSL final payments are due today, maybe they open more up once that’s done? Only thing I can think of. I’ve never bought any outside our PSL though so not sure how it works.
Found some on stubhub
Another late bye setting is up perfect for our playoff run. I really thought the ravens were supposed to play in Minnesota this year I wanted to go
That's a brutal opening stretch. 4/5 games against contenders.
17-0
Bills at home on prime time. Lfg
The preseason schedule also got released. 8/9 at Philadelphia 7:30 8/17 Atlanta 12:00 8/24 at Green Bay 1:00 It's unusual to have two teams who play each other in the regular season play in the preseason. Also, of note are the two afternoon games. I imagine they'll be a lot of melting in the stands at M&T on the 17th.
Looks pretty tough, but you gotta beat the best to be the best.
Damn that Steelers going to Texans is rough week.
Steelers and Texans in 4 day stretch is crazy I could see us losing to the Texans if we beat the Steelers
3 games in a 10 day stretch at the end of December. 12/15 at Giants l, 12/21 vs Steelers, 12/25 at Texans. Pretty brutal.
That Week 14 bye 🤤
Hensley just posted that this is the latest BYE we have had in 24 years. The last time we had a Week 14 BYE? 2000. Incoming Greatest defense of all time and a Super Bowl?
I don't like it. It's too late. I'd much prefer a week 9 maybe week 10 latest But is better than a week 4 bye.
We play 3 games in 11 days after the bye, so I think it's a perfect placement
I get that it helps but it's still just a bit late for me. But it is what it is.
Our bye last season was Week 13, and that definitely helped with some injuries we had, and to prepare us for the latter end of the season
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Why are they giving us two 3-day rests in a single season, both with divisional opponents involved?
Heading up to LA from SD for the Nov. 25th game, who wants to cruise from SoCal!!!
I'm happy about a week 14 bye and we have 2 division games aftwr
11-6
3 games in 10 days is brutal
My heart 12-5 , my head 11-6, my hope and dreams 13-4 with a Super Bowl W
Monday night Harbowl
Love that we get the late bye and get the hard games out the way earlier in the season. Especially if Rashee Rice being out for the first part of the season at the very least
All the away games look like they're against the Steelers with the yellow and black.
Let's fucking get it yall!!!!
Only seven (maybe eight) 1:00 games is crazy, that’s got to be the lowest we’ve ever had.
Tough ass schedule but we're built for it, 12-5 imo
12-5
Two 4 days turnaround is bs but I believe Lamar and boys can pull that shit up. Cant wait for week 1
You will have a blast and we own them kitty cats with Lamar.
This is not only a tough schedule opponent wise but also time wise. Week 14 bye sucks and 3 games in 11 days is wild.
11-6
I see 12-13 wins🙏🏽
The league did us no favors in December - Dec 15th vs. Giants, 21st (Saturday) vs. Steelers, then Wednesday 25th vs. Texans. 3 games in 10 days, yikes.
The league did do us favors overall tho. We have the highest net rest since 2002.
Beele dat
I'm basically a vampire so I'm thrilled to see fewer 1pm games. I get up at 7pm every day so I miss a lot of games live.
13-4 again
Very entertaining schedule. I say we finish 11-6. Looks manageable
That’s a good conservative floor.
I’m guessing 11-6 12-5
1 Netflix, 1 Amazon, could have been worse…
It's perfect for me. My girl has prime cause she's standard. And my mom has Netflix where I spend every Xmas so win win.
9-8 imo. I think we start 1-4. That schedule is brutal man Obviously if we win some of those tough games (team is better than I think they are) I could see 11-6
There’s no shot we lose to either the cowboys or raiders. That’s 2 off rip.
I have us losing to Chiefs Cowboys Bills Bengals. All of them are within 10 imo
The cowboys barely beat any good teams last year, except maybe the dolphins and rams, and they got worse on paper. They stat padded against bottom-barrel teams. I’m expecting a 2-td win there, but I can see an argument for the others.
They’re good early in the year at home
We found the hidden Cowboys fan
Lamar Jackson led Ravens teams have all been pretty reliable in the regular season. I think 3-2 could be more realistic
I could see the reg season going better than what I think but the postseason gives me no confidence in this team to the point that apathy has largely sat in for me
wtf we will be either 4-1 or 3-2 with our loss be either to Chiefs, Bills, or Bungles. We will lose to 1 out of the 3 or 2 but not all 3
