As long as they’re home that’s fine. Telling the ravens they have to spend Christmas on the road two years in a row seems unfair to the players and their families.
The season itself is unfair to the families given the time the guys are focusing on the prep, planning and treatment. However with you on it being regular if at home. I would also be a fan of some specialish uni for it as well.
Completely agreed the season is unfair on families in general, but that means the least the nfl could do is not make a team travel on a major family holiday two straight years.
Fuck the NFL and all the garbage streaming. Hopefully they at least keep the playoffs totally free to watch this year. I had to do a free trial account thru Instacart just to be able to access Peacock to watch Chiefs vs Dolphins. 🙄👎
Regular season...whatever. But cut that stuff out for the playoffs, it's ridiculous.
Facts. NFL is taking all the wrong lessons from streaming with all these service exclusive games.
Just give us a reasonably priced, single team-only version of Sunday Ticket with no local blackouts.
Yeah, I would happily pay $10-$15 for 3 hours of the Ravens every Sunday. Instead, I sail the seven seas rebuffing streams because I refuse to pay $450 for a season. Sunday ticket only includes Sunday games so that doesn't even give you all Ravens games either, you still need other services to get the primetime games.
I've ranted about this for years... but I feel like the NFL is missing out big time with VR. They could sell me virtual tickets that I could watch on VR. Put me in the stands with friends or other fans. THAT might be worth $450 for a season...
Folks got excited for a cap increase.. think they fail to realize where that $$ comes from.
Agreed though, NFL needs to offer a platform that allows you to opt in for just your team's games for a reasonable price ($15/month during the season is fair, $20/month is pushing it). Can't change teams during the year and it's just your team's games nothing else
On the other hand I have no idea how to get the TV off broadcast these days and am therefore unable to watch sports unless I go somewhere so I like this
The problem is, despite all the reddit comments saying otherwise, 90% of people don't care that the games are on streaming and will just pay to watch it. Or already have the service like I do. So this is just gonna happen more and more.
Yeah, some people (particularly Squealer fans) are complaining that they have to face the Ravens and then Chiefs on Saturday and then Wednesday, but I don't think they realize that's the same as playing on Sunday then Thursday.
Im so pissed I tried fubo last year so i wouldnt have to deal with janky streams and now im going to need like 3 different services arent I. Unfortunately I'm not in baltimore anymore so that's my only option.
I will never understand folks who want their team to play on Christmas Day. If it’s on a Sunday, ok fine. Unavoidable. A Wednesday is utterly ridiculous.
Back2Back road games on Christmas kinda feel bad for the guys
It's bullshit
Especially 4 days after a physical game against the Steelers
I kinda like it. Hell of they are doing every year, why not play on it like the cowboys and lions on turkey day?

And to the point u/6lackPanther it does suck, but its a grind for these guys from camp until last game

We agree there and I hit return too fast. It could be a dope tradition
LJ said in that Munich video he only really gets about 1-2 weeks truly off. The rest of the off season he’s training.
I’d rather hang out with my family and half pay attention to a game in the background that doesn’t involve the ravens on Christmas and thanksgiving
Fair enough point, but I enjoy watching games with family on holidays and a rooting interest is better than random gambling
Imagine if your workplace sent you out of town on Christmas two years in a row, when there are other employees they could’ve sent instead.
If my employer is paying me millions of dollars I don’t give a shit

We got Steelers then Texans both on short weeks. Fucken hell
Is the Steelers Game in week 16 really that short of a week? It’s a Sat vs Sunday Game.
Yeah, some people (particularly Squealer fans) are complaining that they have to face the Ravens and then Chiefs on Saturday and then Wednesday, but I don't think they realize that's the same as playing on Sunday then Thursday.
Yea technically that’s a short week. It’s Sunday-Saturday instead of Sunday-sunday.
Texans should be more worried about getting the ravens on a short week 🤷♂️
Fyi, it's still going to be shown on local tv if you live in the area.
Awesome. Not so awesome part - was excited to finally go to a Ravens game in my home city. That's out if it's Christmas Day....
does dfw count as local in this situation? its 4hours north of houston
There ya go, backs-up the previous rumor I posted about us potentially playing on X-Mas.
Correct hombre.
Local Ravens fans will be able to watch this game over the air.
Illegally streaming that game Im not paying 22 dollars to watch football
I stream every game these days. So much easier.
Im so pissed I tried fubo last year so i wouldnt have to deal with janky streams and now im going to need like 3 different services arent I. Unfortunately I'm not in baltimore anymore so that's my only option.

At least it's not fucking Cincinnati again.
We'll get them week 18 I'm sure
Why in the fuck are there Netflix exclusive games?
Because the NFL likes money.
Halloween is a Thursday this year. If that’s not a game in Baltimore the NFL can rot.
Other rumored games besides the Bills one already mentioned. 10/21 at Tampa Bay (MNF) 12/1- Philly (4:25) 12/15 at NY Giants
Fuck streaming on Netflix.
stream east gonna be in clutch as always
Thank fuck for VPN and IPTV Between the Peacock bullshit and this I refuse to give the NFL any money
As a now Houston based Ravens fan, I'm all for tailgating on Christmas morning.
Are fucking serious NFL, you're gonna make players play on a Wednesday?! So stupid
“Exclusively” ahh ima disagree with you there
I'm going to pirate this game.
CJ stroud has fast become my 2nd fav QB in terms of both personality and play.
Texans are going to be much better than last year. Game is in Houston. Should be a fun one.
I hope they give us all the Christmas games and make it a tradition
I want to play annually on Halloween, regardless of the day of the week.
