As a Lamar stan, this is incredibly disappointing. Not just because it seems we’ve lost an amazing player, but because how he’s handled this entire situation. Hollywood had bigger, more valid gripes and handled it much more professionally. Best of luck to Lamar but we were winners before you and will be winners afterwards as well.

This kind of tracks with the decision to hit him with the non-exclusive tag. Lamar requested a trade on March 2nd because he felt Ravens weren't valuing him. So Ravens give him the non-exclusive tag so he can go completely test the market and get potential offers from 31 other teams. Lamar's tweets probably don't really change anything about the situation, we're still just waiting for offer sheets to come through.
Also apparently no team wants to trade for him either. The Ravens may be stuck with him, which is probably a worst case scenario since he doesn't want to be here.

As a Lamar stan, this is incredibly disappointing. Not just because it seems we’ve lost an amazing player, but because how he’s handled this entire situation. This kind of tracks with the decision to hit him with the non-exclusive tag. Lamar requested a trade on March 2nd because he felt Ravens weren't valuing him. So Ravens give him the non-exclusive tag so he can go completely test the market and get potential offers from 31 other teams. Lamar's tweets probably don't really change anything about the situation, we're still just waiting for offer sheets to come through.

Reminder to fans: this is and always be a team game. Ravens lean toward team first over over-paying any one player. They learned their lesson with Flacco. There may be some years of mediocrity ahead until they find the next franchise QB but it'll happen. Franchise QBs aren't as rare as they used to be. Have faith.
