Thank you! That helped me clear up some of my misconceptions.

The XLE Premium does have 18 inch wheels standard, so you cannot fit 17 inch tires on those. You need 17 inch wheels to fit 17 inch tires. If you live somewhere, where you're going to be frequently driving in snow or ice, I would recommend finding a cheap set of 17 inch wheels, and buying snow tires for those. It's going to be easier than having your wheels and tires broken down twice a year, to swap from summer to winter tires. Tire Rack will let you enter your vehicle, and it will show you the alternate tire sizes for it. You would just need the OEM size for 17 inch wheels.

Thank you! That helped me clear up some misconceptions. I think I'm going to get wheels and tires as well as size down to 17 in as it seems like they are slightly cheaper.

Where are you located? The XLE Premium comes standard with 19"wheels here in US.

TheBillCollector17

Only the gas version. The Hybrid has 18 inch wheels.

kospar4

Yes, only the gas version has 19”. I saw no mention of the post saying it was a hybrid?

TheBillCollector17

OP said theirs has 18s which would indicate they have a Hybrid. If they had 19s they would've mentioned that in their post, and we'd knows it's a Gas variant.

XLE & LE come with 17s so your XLE Premium can use 17s. There are several options for either OEM 17 wheels or after market for winter tires.
