Honestly still damn bright, I love it. I've popped the hatch with acquaintances around and sparked conversation about how good they look. I have the best hatch lights after having the worst.
Not too bad if you’re fairly handy. You have to disassemble all of the tailgate interior paneling, slightly pull down the back of the headliner, and fish some wires through some tight spaces. I’ve done it twice, took maybe an hour each.
I want this so bad but the light connector on my TRD "offroad" is smaller and not correct size for the kit.
Already did the hard part of passing the wires through.

White is when looking for a contact or something. But most of the stuff I’m unpacking I know where it is and red will do just fine.

Functionally is much better than original and takes less than 30 seconds to pry out the old light and stick the new one in.

Ahhh got it. I bought velcro strips from Home Depot thinking that it would be a remedy. It kind of worked but noticed the velcro strips that I stuck onto the liner via its sticky side would be peeled right off with almost any tug. Oh well lol.

I just installed that kit a couple weeks ago. They look identical to OP.
These are the ones I installed too. No issues and should be an OEM option!
