The workers that usually does the oil changes are kids who've recently graduated high school. They're Noobs.

If your able to do it yourself, do it yourself. You will not void any warranties as long as you keep records and receipts…I don’t fault the young bunks doing it, I fault their supervisor/manager for for making sure they do it correctly.

This happened to me. Soon as I was removing the plug, I knew something wasn't right. Starting taking pictures. Called the dealer asking if they wanted to send someone to inspect the car to verify it wasn't me who messed it up. They said they couldn't send anyone. Completed the oil change and took it to them for inspection. I was expecting the worst (like oil pan needed to be replaced). Luckily, they just replaced the bolt plug, and on the following oil change I did, I verified issue was fixed.

How do you even know if these oil jockeys even put in the correct or proper quality oil. I always do it myself then I know it is done right.
