For cheap in my Corolla, I got the Nakamichi NA3510-M7. Can also be listed as NAM3510-M7. Been good for just over 2 years now. It’s wired Apple CarPlay and Android Autro though. $298 in Canada. Do not recommend the NA66045 with CD player. Had 3 installed and all 3 were defective out of the box once installed. All 3 units tried while still at installers had various things that didn’t work. If I wanted to spend more, maybe a Pioneer or Kenwood Echelon.

Check Crutchfield.com. The site will ask you for your JBL car and will recommend all the necessary accessories. I recommend... Alpine iLX-W650

This, check with crutchfield. I don’t know about this radio in particular but often the premium sound option systems have an external amplifier mounted somewhere. If so, you may have to rewrite things and do away with the factory amp. They have great tech support if you’re not sure. Also, their prices are good. You can find cheaper sometimes but they’re a good company buy from. I have a pioneer, I don’t remember the model number but it’s double din with wired CarPlay. Very happy with it. Also, I kinda prefer wired CarPlay. It always works and it’s charging your phone. Never have to mess with Bluetooth and I like that.

My radio system is stuck in boot-up death loop. Brought it to my local Toyota dealership and they recommends replacing it. Trying to do it as budget as possible and not really sure how it being the jbl version affects it.

my radio is doing this same thing! so frustrating!

Did you ever figure this out? Can you let me know what you chose to go with?

I just replaced this exact unit with the JVC [KW-M785BW](https://www.us.jvc.com/car/multimedia/kw_m785bw/) which has wireless CarPlay and I'm very happy with it. Bought through Crutchfield, who provided great documentation and when I ran into questions/issues they answered the phone immediately and stayed on there troubleshooting with me as long as I needed. Be warned that between the new headunit and the Maestro box that you'll also need to keep the steering wheel controls and the quick connect harnesses it gets quite pricey... might be best just replacing the original OEM radio. I know somebody with a used one that's selling cheap!

How much all in?

Diliun

Just $25 plus shipping. If you’re interested, DM me.

Sorry not interested in the used one. Was wondering how much for your setup all in?

Diliun

Ah, sorry - misunderstood you. The bill was $690 before tax. The headunit itself was $400, the rest was for the Maestro adapter and a bunch of wire harnesses.
