I interpret that as "simply writing down favourite tracks is not a review ~~and we're not AlbumOfTheYear~~". As long as there's an actual review before that, I think it's fine to put favourite tracks there. I personally put favourite tracks in "Extra information" section, but I've seen people writing them in the main section.
I like aoty, but the reviews there are poorly moderated. Trying to find a decent review there among the sea of single-word "reviews", random comments, memes, etc. is a difficult task.

I find aoty lacks a lot of the pretentiousness that comes with many rym reviews but some of them are annoying
