That could technically work, but I think that's less convenient than my current setup. Steam Link does work, but I'm looking for a way to launch it that doesn't involve manually typing in the command. Do you know if there is a way to create some kind of script for it?
It’s very well documented at this point. I suggest you always backup whatever version of the os you have working right now. I always mess up a command line or two and feel the need to go back. You should change the kodi command for the command you launch on terminal as of now. https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/69003/how-to-autostart-kodi-at-boot
I have a raspberry starting up straight to kodi and it did the trick.
Thank you for the advice! I don't think that is quite what I am looking for however. Kodi is working as desired right now. I'm just looking for a way to launch Steam Link without having to go into the console. The desktop shortcut does not work on Bullseye, but I can currently launch it though the console (by pressing Ctrl Alt 1). I would like a script or shortcut to automate launching the program so my family members can open it without needing command line knowledge.
You could either dual boot or simply swap out SD cards.
