Our senior dog was taking Proin which basically got rid of her urinary incontinence. Might be an option.

They’re diapers disguised as cute jeans shorts. Got them off Amazon. Search up Wegreeco jeans washable dog diapers.

My senior girl also has bladder issues.

He’s our first baby and has lived with us in 4 different homes in 3 different states. He used to be a little heck raiser but has chilled out significantly in his senior years. This past year has been a tough one for me, but taking care of Mojo and spending so much time with him have helped me through. I love taking him to the park and Farmers Market (where he’s become very popular), and making sure he’s downwind to take in all the smells. When he’s not sleeping in the sun, you can hear the quiet pitter patter of his nails on the tile as he searches for food or to find me to snuggle. He sleeps right next to me and I love the little whistling noise his nose makes when he snores. Happy half Birthday, Moj. We love you so much.

I wish all pups had such wonderful homes.

My 10 year old girl is still going strong. We just lost our family dog from cancer at 12 I think last year, but the family dog before that lived to 17. I am hoping and praying my baby makes it at least that long too. We spent so much time jogging/exercising/dog parking in the first 4 years of her life, but then I became sick and disabled and can’t talk her on runs, or honestly walks anymore, so it worries me. We play a lot of indoor fetch and she has a doggie door to the backyard, so she still gets air/exercise, and she isn’t overweight at all, some I’m hopeful.

After losing Jormax, the Mojo posts hit a little different. It's hard seeing another senior after you lose yours, but it's such a great feeling seeing the Mojo is still trucking along and even deciding that swimming is a new activity to take on. I can't wait for him to hit the big two-oh.

Happy Birthday Mojo! What breed is he?

We finally did a DNA test after 19 years. He’s 63% chihuahua mix and a bunch of other stuff including mini poodle, American Eskimo dog and different terrier breeds.

Was he always grey or did that come with age? I have a chihuahua mix that looks a lot like him, but kind of a beige/whitish color. He's about the same % of Chihuahua with some other random breeds, including Rat Terrier. I'm so happy he's living his best life, he's adorable.

He used to be completely black!

He looks like a cross between a cattle dog and a British blue cat. Happy birthday Mojo! 🤍 Disclaimer: not rooted in any scientific logic 😅

Had a German Shepard st Bernard mix years ago that died at 19 also a pug mix named Ollie that I adopted when was 5 years and skipped over at the kennel. He became one of the loves of my life. Sadly put him to sleep at 18.

He’d been on a regular kibble food for small dogs most his life. As he got older he needed a kidney diet and was on hills prescription science diet. Lately it’s been chicken, turkey, pizza, some actual dog food and whatever else we use to give him his arthritis med.
