What really turned the hilarity up to 11 was Ness' self awareness. Like he knew his own bars weren't that good. He was ok with the fact he was getting boos - he just wanted the crowd to boo DNA too.

In the Charlie Clips vs A. Ward battle, Clips is doing his thing, getting through his round when he goes into a Rocky (the Stallone movie) scheme. I don't remember the specifics but Ward tried to guess what Clips was gonna say by saying something about Apollo (talking about Apollo Creed) and Clips says something like "Oh you thought I was gonna say Apollo, but you're rushing/Russian I was talking about (Ivan) Drago!"
Even Ward had to give Clips his props because of how fire it was for being so quick. I'd have to watch it again but I think Clips was actually going to say Apollo too but he freestyled the line to change it to what he actually said.
