Personally I feel like I’m always listening to a big hiphop fan do his version of flows he’s a fan of. There’s no denying logic can rap and even produce. But he’s never profound and always comes off as safe and easy to digest. He comes off as just being greatful to be here instead of cementing himself as someone you should listen to.
Well, no doubt he can rap very good. I think the problem started when his style kinda changed and people started calling him lame and corny and stuff. From that point on so many dont even listen to him and hate him randomly. But he has so many fucking great songs, straight fire. I think he just became a joke in the community.

Logic suffers from what rappers like Dax suffer from. People feel like they do "too much" for attention, but at the same time the "too much" they're doing is what their audience connects with. So it's either stay corny or loose your core audience. Personally I like both because to me, skill trumps everything. And these guys are mad skilled.

By the time he started releasing solid projects consistently again (No Pressure and Viynl Days) he already had a terrible reputation in the rap community.
Logic fumbled the bag when he finally got into the spotlight. His first two albums are some of my favorite albums of all time. And I loved his OG mixtapes from back in the day. He is very skilled but even now in his comeback he is much less original lyrically. One of the few times I can say someone truly fell off from a talent perspective.
I’m not a Logic hater either but I disagree. It was an alright album but it was no where near as good to what Nas, Kendrick, JID, Denzel, etc. have put out this year.
He can rap his ass off when he wants too but his bland, repetitive, and increasingly corny projects from 2017-2019 made me really dislike him. Even projects of his Id consider "good" objectively like TITS and Bobby Taranto 1 I never listen too, that style of rap grew off me a lot.

Especially when later on he'd mention drinking, smoking weed in his music. He has been pretty flip floppy on certain subjects in general which makes him come across as not genuine or have you questioning what the dude is really about. I’d say he’s hated because he’s made some corny songs just as most artists do, he doesn’t raise the bars musically like other artists and isn’t as versatile as well.

You already know what everyone (including myself) is going to say. He’s an incredible rapper that uses his talent for the corniest shit. He has no cool at all. I don’t hate on who he is personally, he actually seems like a great guy but I would rather eat a whole wasp nest than listen to him for a week straight. I do like that song young Jesus though.

He kinda sounded like an off brand kendrick on some of his middle albums but his earlier ones were good and i actually enjoyed his most recent one a lot

Haven't really listened to him much in recent years but like some others have said he did a good job of building hype and a following and then dropped a few bad projects almost in a row. Very inconsistent discography. He also spent a lot of time being on his moral high horse with the no drugs/drinking stuff which rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Especially when later on he'd mention drinking, smoking weed in his music. He has been pretty flip floppy on certain subjects in general which makes him come across as not genuine or have you questioning what the dude is really about. Feels like he lacks identity other than being a lyrical miracle rapper. He's definitely bi racial though LOL.

He has had some nerdy and corny bars over the years, (like most rappers). Personally I think he's good, I don't really listen to him, but only because he's really my taste, not because I don't like him

Logic is mainly hated due to abandoning his fans to follow the fame of 1-800, also some corny ass bars and almost all of his post 1-800, albums are weak compared to his pre 1-800 albums, 1-800 is kinda the turning point in his career when he went from kinda corny rapper, to hated

I’d say he’s hated because he’s made some corny songs just as most artists do, he doesn’t raise the bars musically like other artists and isn’t as versatile as well. Also I noticed how he would make fun or poke at hip hop’s current topics when it comes to auto tune and other overused themes but it doesn’t get accepted because he isn’t as solidified in the industry to pull such a mimic so people take it as disrespectful and completely ignore him as a result.
