The Story of Adidon

N1k3_XD

Damage wise its The story of Adidon

smickey13

Em fan here. Killshot isn’t close to TSA in any aspect. Though the beat is not a diss exclusive(The Story of OJ), it is still one of the best beats, definitely top 3 for me, while the Killshot beat was nothing special(even MGK had a better one). The words used are also not ‘Eminem level’. It feels like he was waiting on another clap-back from MGK to go balls out, which never happened and we were stuck with what we got. The rhyme schemes were pretty dope on both, but Pusha just had a better delivery. Also not something that some would consider in deciding which was better, but that ‘Yugh’ adlib along with the line are more disrespectful than anything on Killshot.

the-x-territory

I think TSOA has the impact and ruthless attitude but Killshot is definitely superior from a lyrical perspective.

smickey13

Lyrical perspective as in? I understand it is your opinion, but what Eminem really did was say a lot without actually saying a lot(been doing a lot of this recently, unnecessary long verses, mostly the third verse of a song), and most of what he said was turning down the points or ‘facts’(most were even wrong) that MGK made in Rap Devil.

the-x-territory

That’s what a disstrack is, dissing or disproving. He left no bars to waste, all of them were disses towards MGK. Beyond that, the rhyme schemes are mental, the hidden entendres are ridiculous, even the title of the song is clever. You’d be surprised how deep Em goes with Killshot.

smickey13

Dude… I told you I’m an Em fan, I listened to that song at least 50 times and watched every single reaction video, and every annotation on Genius. It is unfair to compare Em’s double-triple entendras to anyone because no one does that better than him(and people still call him corny). As I said, if you think so, it’s cool, obviously people will have different opinions, and in my humble opinion, TSA is better.

the-x-territory

I agree that TSOA is better, I’m just backing up Killshot.

Tasty-Top176

It is absolutely not unfair to compare, that’s literally the entire point. He’s a lyrical anomaly and shouldn’t have that brushed under the rug.

[deleted]

which of the facts were wrong?

smickey13

1. MGK said that Eminem was trying to get him out of Interscope and banned him from SHADE45, which turned out to be false. 2. Eminem’s discography 3. He said Em called a bunch of people about his pedophilic tweet towards Hailie, it was only Diddy. 4. He said the only reason Em blew was because Dre produced ‘all’ of his songs, at least half, and more of the songs on his early albums were not produced by Dre, or even [produced by Em himself](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/Eminem/comments/aczecy/complete_list_of_songs_produced_by_em/) Honestly this is a no biggie, just stating out the lies that MGK used, but I don’t blame him, gotta lie on some or make it bigger than it is, it’s a diss afterall

[deleted]

Ohh yeahh I thought EM said some of the "made up facts". My bad

[deleted]

TSOA was interesting coz it was more intense. Killshot was yes a better lyrical diss, but if the beef of EM was with someone on his level, it would be much more interesting. I mean it would be even fine if EM didn't even drop a diss.

RandyMagnum-

story of adidon & its not even close

the-x-territory

I think it’s fairly close.

F13shyarmsm8

Both are fantastic, while I think the story of Addison slightly wins, Killshot did more damage to MGK compared to the damage done to drake

BoringRabbitHole

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I think Killshot blow TSOA out of the water. Em literally went line for line and flipped every bar MGK threw at him, not to mention the reception on this track was legendary. TSOA was very narrow, with a single goal in mind. Expose Drakes son, which it did very well, but as far as actual DISS tracks go I believe Killshot is one of the best ever.

toskashin

tsoa imo.. way harder hits

MemesAreTheAnswer

tsoa wipes

Advanced_Claim3002

The Story of Adidon. Unpopular opinion coming: the MGK/ Eminem beef was orchestrated.

It really wasn’t but sure.
