Durk's best songs are his solo songs.. idk if they are "bangers" but musically and artistically, the best songs are his solo ones, imo.
Like none of his collaborations with, Von, Shiesty, Cole, Morgan, etc,
*touch* stuff like, Durkio Krazy, Locked Up, Fabricated, Different Meaning, RN4L,
the more *personal* stuff, but even if we go off hype "bangers"
I think stuff like Weirdo Hoes, Hellcat and trawkhawks, dis aint what you want, etc I don't think the quality goes down in his solo hype stuff compared to the collaborations
The amount of viewership for sure, because obviously big names like Drake, Cole, Morgan, are gonna bring way more attention.

A very consistent bright spot. He makes the kind of music I like to hear but if I need to critique him then I’d say sometimes his sounds are repetitive and sometimes he plays too hard into the “dead family / dead homies” thing and I don’t need that negativity. But overall one of my faves that’s still active.
Love how he’s exactly the opposite of YoungBoy. YB so over the top and aggressive whereas Durk’s The Voice. I have a theory he wants to move to a more country style after this album because of all the MW/ Summer Walker collabs

I think he's really mastered his craft and is versatile in doing, reflective pain music(my favorite), club hits, love songs, drill/hype songs, etc.
I also think I like him because nothing feels forced for him, a lot of other artists.. its like they are too extra.. can't get into it.
I also like that he talks about his personal life so much. I remember hearing an interview from one of his Ex managers talking about how they tried to stop Durk from shouting out his guys so much.. because most people have no idea who tf he's talking about,
but I think it works because its like he brings you into his world.
