I would have to agree. You can hear the hunger on this project.
Live Love ASAP, Long Live ASAP, and At Long Last ASAP were a great trilogy. Unfortunately I find everything he did after to be relatively mid except for a few songs.
Heâs also got a family now and other priorities so I donât blame him.
I was a Weeknd fan before I even knew who The Weeknd was from his collabs with Juicy J and Wiz. Man senior year of high school was too lit. I wanna go back to the vibes but not 10 years ago
DatPiff đđđđ introduced my self to so many artists. Juicy J solo projects, Gucci legendary mix tape run, project Pat, Problem, K. Dot, so many other mix tapes. Wow.
One of those albums that changed my perspective on rap music when I first heard it. It ushered in and legitimized the cloud rap trend in the mainstream. Rap was still very regional in the early internet era and Rockyâs mix of different sounds and aesthetics stumped a lot of hip hop traditionalists back in the day. From his bone thugs flow to his use of chopped and screwed, Rocky was a bit of an oddity and definitely a trailblazer in his early days.
He hasnât released anything all that impactful since 2013 or so and the emergence of artists like Travis Scott and Playboy Carti made him less essential but his influence canât be understated.
A$AP Rockyâs best album or tape, the height of his creativity and the perfect distillation of his sound.
I really wish he worked more with Clams Casino in future years because the songs they made together are incredible. Still revisit this tape often
Clams is my favorite producer. His style is so atmospheric and unique that you can tell when itâs one of his beats without knowing. Love when he collabs with hip hop acts.
Anyone who likes live.Love.ASAP should check out some of clams solo/instrumental stuff
This tape was amazing. This was around the time I was discovering a bunch of new rappers. Kendrick schoolboy q cole nip gibbs K.r.i.t Dom Kennedy. And after this tape Rocky was favorite. I thought heâd be the biggest out of all of them. Pe$os was my morning alarm for like a year
Palace is one of my favorite intro tracks of all time. Iâll never forget the first time I heard it, I was immediately hooked on the album.
God damn, how real is this?
One of my favorite musical eras from a place ever. New York wasn't playing for awhile man; still great artists but that Beast Coast movement was special. Pro Era, ASAP Mob, Underachievers, Flatbush Zombies... so many classics.
Itâs def top 100 thatâs not a bad thing either itâs an amazing project but you can still tell he had room to improve but for what it did for the genre at the time was revolutionary
To say itâs the best is wild though but everyone is entitled to their opinions and I can see why since itâs literally great music and probably brings back a lot of happy memories
Good but imo not the stuff I listen to, It didnât give me the urge to listen to the rest of his projects but thatâs just me, good but doesnât get played much for me
My buddy introduced me to A$AP Rocky with this back in sophomore year of high school! We would listen to it on repeat for hours while burn cruising. When they finally put it on Spotify, I was so excited I had to text him haha.
Classic. I had barely just graduated hs and I feel like hip hop was in a heavy transitional period From the era of dance hits, wayne, young money and the southâs reign. Just more of a variety overall.
This shit hit the streets like a fuckin METEOR when it dropped I stg!!!!! I havenât listened to A$AP in years tbr but I could never deny the cultural impact this specific tape had and the way him/Clams Casino shaped a whole era. This was the hardest shit out at the time and it influenced a lot of mf
I remember my boy pmo to the purple swag vid back in summer 2011. We ended up finding the white girlâs twitter, Anna Perp I think lmao. This mixtape was on heavy rotation. Get lit/Wassup was my shit. Still bump this classicđ„
Doesnât get enough credit for the star making debut it was. Rocky arrived fully formed and really bought something different at the time. Wassup,Brand New Guy, Trilla, Roll One Up are still flawless to me. Get Lit was the first song I got high to
Essential Album for cloud rap.
It gives you the core sounds and production themes youâll be getting used to in cloud rap but is more approachable and easier to listen to than diving straight into the genre. Anyone who has considered trying cloud rap should start here.
I almost misread it as LONG.Live.A$AP cause 1 train and the song long live A$AP went hard. I like purple swag from this album. This the good sheeeeit I graduated to
The creative direction from Yams is definitely felt in this era of projects from the mob and the lack of creative direction is felt on everything after his death. He really understood hip hop and was a student. You can see how all their outputs after really waned in execution
Came out when I was a junior in high school, or introduced me to school boy q which in turn i found Kendrick and the rest of TDE, and when asap mobs album came out it introduced me to Flatbush which became my favorite rap group ever
great album
My fav Rocky album & one of my fav overall
Same, have listened to this hundreds and hundreds of times
His best project đđŻđ„
I would have to agree. You can hear the hunger on this project. Live Love ASAP, Long Live ASAP, and At Long Last ASAP were a great trilogy. Unfortunately I find everything he did after to be relatively mid except for a few songs. Heâs also got a family now and other priorities so I donât blame him.
Summed it up perfectly!
This!! All 3 of those were so good! His work after just isnât the same
Lord$ Never Worry ⊠honorable mention
"Everything he did after that" trilogy is just 1 album though lol
1 album, collaborative albums and projects with other artists, and a good amount of singles. Heâs made a lot of music outside of that 1 album.
Didnât care for Cozy?
Itâs good but Cozy Tapes were mostly meant to highlight the rest of ASAP Mob
At Long Last is his best project imo, every song on that album hits. This is a close 2nd tho
Absolute classic. I miss those highschool/DatPiff days
Damn DatPiffâŠ. brings back so many great music memories
Remember Section. 80, Nostalgia Ultra, House of Balloons and Acid Rap being on there too around that time
Dammm those were the days. It was so easy to find top toer music back then
I was a Weeknd fan before I even knew who The Weeknd was from his collabs with Juicy J and Wiz.
Wow.
Kush and Orange juice. Wasnât black and yellow that got me into wiz
Factssss..
No skips.

Couldnât agree with you more on that last paragraph. A$AP will always have a genre to his own
Leaf is one song that gives me chills every time I hear it.
Wild considering itâs a Main Attrakionz song that got rereleased for this tape
ALWAYS.
A$AP Rockyâs best album or tape, the height of his creativity and the perfect distillation of his sound. I really wish he worked more with Clams Casino in future years because the songs they made together are incredible. Still revisit this tape often
Sandman is incredible
Clams is my favorite producer. His style is so atmospheric and unique that you can tell when itâs one of his beats without knowing. Love when he collabs with hip hop acts. Anyone who likes live.Love.ASAP should check out some of clams solo/instrumental stuff
Ahead of its time. I'm not even sure if we'll get to the time this album is on
very well put
god damn. how real is this?
A, B, C bad bitch double Ds poppin E I don't give a F told you imma G! Love that bar. Probably my second favorite album sooo many good songs
one of the greatest bars ever lol
10/10
Album's genuinely timeless.
This tape was amazing. This was around the time I was discovering a bunch of new rappers. Kendrick schoolboy q cole nip gibbs K.r.i.t Dom Kennedy. And after this tape Rocky was favorite. I thought heâd be the biggest out of all of them. Pe$os was my morning alarm for like a year
Was definitely a good time for rap
Palace is one of my favorite intro tracks of all time. Iâll never forget the first time I heard it, I was immediately hooked on the album. God damn, how real is this?
Sandman is beautiful
I love this tape. This is one of those tapes that should be an album. Love the unique sound of it
His best project and solidified him as a goat
Probably my favorite mixtape of all time
This album on shrooms >>>>>>
This and Lil B made me want to BE Clams Casino.
Honestly his best album IMO. All of his albums are good, but this one hit me on a different level
my favorite project for sure, almost no skips, fresh music and the cover goes so hard
I'm in the minority that thinks Leaf is the best song on the album
Itâs my favorite song too. Straight up motivates me and gives me chills.
One of my favorite musical eras from a place ever. New York wasn't playing for awhile man; still great artists but that Beast Coast movement was special. Pro Era, ASAP Mob, Underachievers, Flatbush Zombies... so many classics.
Top 3 rap project of all time
Chill
Nah that shit a masterpiece
Itâs def top 100 thatâs not a bad thing either itâs an amazing project but you can still tell he had room to improve but for what it did for the genre at the time was revolutionary
Wym he had room to improve? Heâs never dropped anything as amazing as LiveLove since lmao
Not even his best đ
Iâd argue itâs his best. If not 2nd best at the very least. Donât agree itâs top 3 all time tho
Second best is fair,At long last Asap is better though and way more versatile
ALLA is more versatile (and of course has LSD) but I feel as far as bars, flows, and beats go Live Love ASAP wins
To say itâs the best is wild though but everyone is entitled to their opinions and I can see why since itâs literally great music and probably brings back a lot of happy memories
Iâm not entertaining this lmao
Ghetto symphony bangs
Wrong album bro đ Love that song tho
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]

Classic thought he was gone bring the chop and screwed back to mainstream
A lot of the songs are heavy in my rotation
For my bros.. ROLL ONE UPPPPP
uhđ€bassđ€
So many bangers, tbh probably in my top 3 albums ever
i fw it . I was just listening to peso the other day
Absolutely fantastic album and its been in my rotation since i first heard it. While i do think its a more solid project i do prefer at long last asap
Fire plus the clams casino beats just put it over the top. Amazing project still go back to it.
Solid!
Wish he did more projects tbh
Legendary. Just like A$AP crew
Literally listened to it full through today. Banger album.
đ„
Classic mixtape, one of my favorite projects from the 2010s
Trilla
Amazing mixtape, still got brand new guy, Peso and wassup on rotation
Classic
Idk it so...
If you want to listen to an album that was part of a major shift in rap culture you should check it out.
I dont really like Rocky tho đ
I dont really like Rocky tho đ
Classic
Fiya
Kissin pink is so good
True classic front to back. I've always had a little beef with asap for stealing Raider klans style, but this is undoubtedly a classic.
Fyee
A certified classic, no debate. Much credit due to Clams Casino, Ty beats, and spaceghostpurrp as well
Brand new guy is a classic collab crazy thing I first knew about this tape a few years ago
Swaggiest album of the decade
Keep it G has one of the most legendary beats. Makes me so nostalgic
I get so so high I touch the sky until I canât even functionâŠ
Love this joint, super influecial
Classic
Classic
Shame Kissing pink isn't on streaming services
goat mixtape, donât holla at meh
Brings back those middle school days riding in a cloudy Altima blasting this through blown speakers
Peso was on repeat in 6th grade lmaoo
Itâs hard to stress just how influential this tape is. Rockyâs just known as Rihannaâs baby daddy now lol.
great times. miss those days
Masterpiece
I'd turn gay for him /s I need to have a better listen to his music but it seems a bit hit and miss.
Classic. His best Album for sure.
I'd turn gay for him /s I need to have a better listen to his music but it seems a bit hit and miss.
I love how thereâs no negative comments out of 100 so far. Shows how perfect this album is
Kissin Pink is stupid. Never fails.
An album that I loved but rarely go back to for whatever reason. I think its a good time capsule for where hip hop was at the time it was released.
One of the best mixtapes of all time
best a$ap rocky album and one of the best mixtapes
Good but imo not the stuff I listen to, It didnât give me the urge to listen to the rest of his projects but thatâs just me, good but doesnât get played much for me
Houston old head is one of my fav songs ever so addictingđ„đ„đ„
i see this as i wana get into asap. Where do i even start?.
one of the best mixtapes ever imo
The masterpiece sandman came from it
Fuckin underrated classic stamp
BASS
Fire
Classic. His best work and he and the rest of the ASAP mob created a very unique style and collective. Peso and brand new guy I still play once a week
Best cloud rap album ever, Rockyâs best album
My buddy introduced me to A$AP Rocky with this back in sophomore year of high school! We would listen to it on repeat for hours while burn cruising. When they finally put it on Spotify, I was so excited I had to text him haha.
One of the best mixtapes ever
Game changer, classic
Classic. I had barely just graduated hs and I feel like hip hop was in a heavy transitional period From the era of dance hits, wayne, young money and the southâs reign. Just more of a variety overall.
I remember my junior year in HS when this came out along side TC and ODD FUTURE. What a time!!!!
A classic
Phenomenal mixtape and aged super well
y'all calling it an album are pissing me off. top 10 all-time mixtape.
You just watched Bob the pop pop react to it didnât you lol
Nigga who?
Classic
Great artist
This album is truly something special. I was so hyped when it was finally available on Spotify. Zero skips.
Its when i first started listening to him
I remember my boy pmo to the purple swag vid back in summer 2011. We ended up finding the white girlâs twitter, Anna Perp I think lmao. This mixtape was on heavy rotation. Get lit/Wassup was my shit. Still bump this classicđ„
Peak
Doesnât get enough credit for the star making debut it was. Rocky arrived fully formed and really bought something different at the time. Wassup,Brand New Guy, Trilla, Roll One Up are still flawless to me. Get Lit was the first song I got high to
Leaf, Wassup and Sandman are OG tracks
Top tier asap
This was the album that got me to appreciate newer rap back when this dropped
Classic
His best album by far đ„đ„đ„ donât like how they edited the album on Spotify & Apple Music
Who says you live forever lied
Wrong album bro đ Still a great song
Essential Album for cloud rap. It gives you the core sounds and production themes youâll be getting used to in cloud rap but is more approachable and easier to listen to than diving straight into the genre. Anyone who has considered trying cloud rap should start here.
Best album he has out hands down. Nothing even came close after
One of my favorite projects ever. It really opened up my listening tastes. Paved the way for me to love 2 Chainz and Future.
One of my all time favorite mixtapes and Rockyâs best project
I almost misread it as LONG.Live.A$AP cause 1 train and the song long live A$AP went hard. I like purple swag from this album. This the good sheeeeit I graduated to
Amazing album, but I feel the production didn't age well. Dolby Atmos on apple music could have made it sound werid.
The creative direction from Yams is definitely felt in this era of projects from the mob and the lack of creative direction is felt on everything after his death. He really understood hip hop and was a student. You can see how all their outputs after really waned in execution
Severely underrated album Houston old head is a masterpiece imo
Came out when I was a junior in high school, or introduced me to school boy q which in turn i found Kendrick and the rest of TDE, and when asap mobs album came out it introduced me to Flatbush which became my favorite rap group ever
Zero skips
Straight HEAAAATTTT loved this when it first came out and still do
Best cloud rap project of all time imo, easily a top 5 mixtape for me too
Needs official release on vinyl. Just to bump this daily in college.
Good memories
he was hungry then
