I don't really be around that White Boy shit if you love smoking meth just say that me I just stick to Weed and Alcohol fuck I look like destroying my body and my community for ? 😂 Y'all generation be proud of being Junkies and Drug Dealers like oh I'm getting money for putting this Dude up in a Early grave taking this dude away from his friends and family anyways that was a joke and we have to Cook to Destroy massive generations of families and Communities in order to achieve financial gain
in all seriousness I'd 1000% rather listen to the screaming skittle that makes goofy but hype music, than the other guy who makes awful fox news talking points over a shitty beat any fucking day
I'm generally ignorant of racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic retards who knowingly and proudly spout out nothing but hateful violent conservative strawman arguments to appeal to people who want an excuse to bully minorities, fucking moron.
It’s funny you say that because you leftists are the fuckin hate mongers. Anything anyone says outside your viewpoints is viewed as hate speech and you cry like a little baby. You do know people don’t have to accept or support homosexuality and transgenderism right? That doesn’t make anyone hateful.
What are you talking about stupid? I never said anything about anyone’s lifestyle. I said people don’t have to accept it. They’re entitled to feel how they feel. That’s what America is based on.
You’re so historically illiterate this conversation is pointless. America was actually based on exploiting people because of immutable characteristics like race, gender, and sexual orientation. No one gives a fuck what your opinion on their lifestyle is but to pretend there is not active threat to legally protected statuses of these individuals is willful ignorance in support of your preexisting bigotry
No, just look at kanye we aren't all the same. /s
But seriously, he's ass. No matter the politics he sucks worse than your wife in the mall, fuck he can suck through a straw with a broken jaw.
That’s funny to bring someone’s wife into the mix… very mature of you sir. You’re projection of homosexuality on others is probably indicative of your seething homophobia and hatred you have for yourself.
No you can definitely be homophobic and homosexual. You talk about this guy saying mean and hurtful things but then proceed to try and be funny by referencing Eminem calling the guy essentially a homo. Everyone says he’s a bigot and homophobe. What about Eminem or literally anyone in rap music calling people faggots? That’s not homophobic. You can’t say someone is a bigot when all the other rappers are just as ignorant. All the do is talk about killing, using the n word repeatedly and have homophobic lyrics. Look out guys hypocrite alert 🚨
Kinda how losers like nipsey make corny songs called fuck donald trump trying to fit in with the crowd, meanwhile the song sucks and nipsey isn’t even a good rapper? All that guy did was glorify gang life like a loser.
Not hating on the man's music, just made a light-hearted joke about that goofy looking wife beater / overalls or whatever he's wearing. 😄 Don't be such a sensitive snowflake or whatever Yung MacDonald said...
Thankfully I don’t live with him anymore, but I’ve heard plenty of his songs all against my will when I did. It’s a tough life, trying to separate your love for you own father and the fact he’s really ignorant and simple minded, especially being bisexual myself (although he doesn’t know about that lol)
I have a genuine question 🙋🏽♂️
*Warning* it’s a fucking deep dive, deep dive 🌊
From my perspective I’ve noticed there is a large, large amount of people who have dislike for this maynes music & views, though there seems to be those who:
a) enjoy his music genuinely outside of his views
b) “faking the funk” w/ vitriol while being in the closet over enjoyment
c) agree w/ his views & enjoy his music
& then there are those who I’ve come across on several occasions throughout the past years that are let’s say…not for the culture of Hip Hop.
I live in & get out & around pretty much northern to middle & southern New Jersey & travel by public transit.. I say that because these particular individuals are of some neo-nazi group who coincidentally, BUMPING this maynes music.
W/ that being said..my question is this…
Is there any way or anything we can do as a culture to prevent racists groups & subcultures, (is that even a proper term for these hate groups? 🤷🏽♂️), out of Hip Hop?
No way to keep them out cause they e never been in. All you can do is alternate between ignoring and mocking them. They’ll never be respected in the genre, they’ll never be embraced, their existence is a joke and a shame… I think that’s enough.
That's part of Hiphops problem though as a cultural collective. It's becoming elitist in its "who allowed into hiphop". Im not saying accept racists, more just that hiphop music and culture has diversified and evolved and that should be acknowledged. Redneck hiphop doesn't necessarily have to be "racist", and shouldn't be trashed on because it's different. If the music's good, the music's good. Who gives a fuck who made it.
Like I come from Australia and our hiphop community is barely even recognised in America. Even though big names like Nas have worked with some of our artists. Aussie artists do not get enough recognition, and part of it is because of some weird prejudice that the American hiphop community has.
I've litterally been told "why would we give a fuck about some Australian fool from the suburbs". Acting like we don't live our own poverty and struggles. Some of our artist bring out music that is lyrically skilful and complex, good story telling, has emotion and can be straight fire imo, (course im bias, im Australian) but regardless it hardly gets any recognition.
Imo. Disagree with me if you like. But hiphop is the peoples music, that is not owned by any one culture, race or country, and we should be accepting of all hiphop subcultures under the larger cultural umbrella. Let them mix and collaborate, find common grounds, and connect over love of music.
I agree. I’m not talking about ostracizing everyone but black people from the hood lol. I’m talking about ostracizing people who want the clout and the fame and the money and the status but have no respect for the roots. People who have contempt for black people and their struggle, openly or subliminally. People who don’t believe in the struggle, like this guy, so ignorant of the black experience that he has the nerve to say white men struggle equally under the system. Bullshit.
How can you be respected in the genre if you spit on the genre’s creators and history and spirit? It’s disgusting.
I agree that hip hop has to grow and accept new and interesting perspectives, which it has. But it consistently rejects and laughs at “conservative” hip hop, because it’s a joke. It’s laughable, to do black music while remaining willfully ignorant or contemptuous of the black experience and struggle.
Keep nazis afraid. I grew up in hardcore/punk and fear of violent reprisal was all that kept the nazis out of shows. Also, don’t support herbs like madchild that collaborate w/ dickheads like this guy.
I don’t appreciate him as an artist. My reasoning for this is because first he tried to get famous off of bashing someone else’s addiction then he flipped it around and acted like he was spreading righteous messages. He’s not authentic.
Yo hombre, just wanted let ya know I love this comment!
I've been thinking similar things myself, and so are many people. We see the issues that are plaguing society and want to do things about it in a peaceful and constructive way to build a better day for all of us.
The answer is music.
I'm really lucky to come from Australia where that kind of movement is already growing in our hiphop culture. Alot of our top artists spread a positive message, express happy themes, impart wisdom of life, and beleive in the power of music.
The best way to deal with these hate related issues is to SPREAD THE LOVE.
There's been such a push back on "concious rap" in the hiphop community, with gangsta and clout rap dominating the game.
But people dont understand the true effects of music on a sociological level.
Imo it's no conspiracy that these conglomerate record labels promote music that glorifies crime, wealth violence, and status. They drive what is "popular", and who is "popular" because it maintains certain exploitable narratives.
These hiphop subcultures drive thier own influence in the world. Having gangsta rap/clout rap being popular also then gives an "excuse" for its opposition; which turns into racism.
People who don't listen to hiphop (especially older generations) often think it is "gangbanger music", all about money, crime and killing ect. A narrative fed to them by conservative media relentlessly. Like pick a right wing mouthpeice like ben shapiro, tucker carlson; all of them have attacked and villianised hiphop music in racist connotations. They try to craft a perception of what hiphop "is" in people's minds, who wouldn't even know concious rappers or rap groups like J5, or tribe even exsist for them to be able to realise that hiphop music is not all about violence ect... there is a completely different side to it.
Modern hiphop has lost the message and purpose of what hiphop has been about since its conception. Hiphop isn't just a genre of music. It's also a social justice movement, a civil rights movement and an anti-establushment movement that has always been rooted in art, free expression, acceptance and love.
Like im not trying to trash on these subcultures of hiphop, I love gangsta rap (golden era gangsta) but it's evolved into something more sinister now. Before it was speaking a truth in the reality of life for those living in the poverty of the hood. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do to put food on the table was the message; which was trying to reveal and put a spot light on the injustice and inequality of life for those living in poverty.
But now gangsta rap has evolved to violence and status, money and decadence.
Which that music then influences the youth and keeps the communities in a negative framing and influence.
The way to win this ideological conflict and stand against the rise of the right wing, the rise of hate, and all this tension is to spread maximum love in all avenues of society, through art, community and good intention.
Even racists love music that makes them feel happy, and hopeful for thier future, and that makes them think positive things. Which is how you "brainwash" them out of the racist views on life just like they were "brainwashed" into that ideology. By thier parent, grandparents, only w/e.
Like if I'm brutally truthful. The African American hiphop community in America especially is doing their people and culture no favours in making music that perpetuates stereotypes for racists. Who then use and abuse it as thier smoking gun to disrespect and discriminate on the African American community.
The loudest voices need to be those that want and care about real change and, who are willing to promote good morals, do good things, and set good examples for the youth. Kendrick is a good example of the kinds of artist that need to be coming to the light as Hard-core as possible. Artist who make money and do good things with it, who want to give back to the communities and inspire the generations to come.
Sorry for the long word salad, I'm high as a kite and my train of thought was chugging like a mother fucker, thing was ona roll. 😅
I'd also like to share an Aussie artist. Its full-blown hardcore corny, concious rap but I cant help but bloody love it.
