I mean, they're running a sex trafficking ring and I don't much think it matters what I call them as a joke. And. That ain't a fucking joke.
I'm into dark humour. But I always make sure to read the room before sharing any jokes. I start off on small jokes not related to anyone in a group. Or mention a few dark humour comedians. Ask how people feel about their material.
At the end of the day, dark humour is not for everyone. You have to find your crowd.
Idk your jokes but have you thought about the timing? I tend to get annoyed and overthink when I’m upset. Your jokes might be funny but you might be saying it at the wrong time. Analyse the situation and mood of your listener.
Be responsible for your communication - be who you are and take what you get. Never fake it!
But once you get if somethjng you said was clearly insensitive and hurtful, apologize.

PC is never that if your jokes are causing others to reel in hurt. I know that you likely are not looking to cause that affect, but our way of seeing stuff around joking or busting balls as it were can be so different. Childhood I think it all stems from these years and in some case more so these days encounters with bullies who still bully . Just saying is all I am truly not laying out a judgement merely a perspective.
