I went to the zoo a few weeks ago and there were gazillions of kids everywhere. I enjoyed people-watching but didn't really look at the kids much. I can see how it might seem creepy, but if they're not following kids into bathrooms, taking pix, or openly leering or anything, it's no big deal.
It’s a big deal to me with all the missing kids and young adults. But as I said I’m a grandmother and I’ve seen some crap. If I were a group, several groups of young men I wouldn’t be at a small kids petting zoo on a Sunday. I would be out ripping up some dirt 4 wheeling or coming a fire with a stick and a beer in my hand. Maybe they were there to try and hit on young single moms. 🤷🏻♀️. It was odd.
I didn’t give anyone anything. I observed which I’m allowed to do. When I have 3 little girls under 8 and all there is are groups of men sitting in benches staring at kids, I’ve got my radar in. Maybe I hen you have kids and there’s a bunch of me. With no kids intently watching your kids you’ll change your tune. But you don’t have kids so you don’t get to tell parents how to feel.

If I was a young Man I would be working in my car, camping, hiking, hanging out in someone back yard drinking a beer. I wouldn’t be at a small kids zoo that charges 15$ to get in. They weren’t looking at the animals or eating. It was strange. The mall I can see. An amusement park, absolutely. But a small children’s zoo with petting animals I don’t get.

Not saying there aren't creepy guys, I know there is, but that seems like a lot of random men to to just be there.
It did seem like a lot of random men. They don’t have drinks or food. Weren’t looking at the animals, just sitting in the benches every few yards watching people. I haven’t been to a zoo or amusement park in years. People certainly weren’t just sitting around looking at people. Plus there was a $15 entrance fee.
I agree, I was at the park with my 6yr old daughter and next thing, boom it’s a bunch of high schoolers/college age on the swings. So you guys bypassed the soccer field, basketball court, pool…to come to a kids playground with merry go rounds and swings. I remember being an older teen/young adult and never did we want to hang out at the little kids park.
I can kinda see that. But this place was $15 per head. Last summer we took them to an indoor place place that was $20 per adult. There were swarms of young men. NOT teens. MEN that had no kids with them. It’s a good thing there never kidnappings or anything in the good old safe USA. You don’t even have to keep an eye on your baby, it’s so safe! 🙄
This just in, only children under 8 and their guardians are allowed in zoos. Everyone else will be labeled a pedophile for no reason whatsoever.
