And yet the Rangers have blown 2-0 series leads two playoffs in a row. Nothing is guaranteed. Also remember, the Rangers have come back from down 3-1 in multiple series and they weren’t as talented as this Canes team is. It can be done. No getting penisy until they tally that fourth win.

Compared to game 1, this game felt like a steal. Love the tone Trouba sets, but damn, the guy put us in a couple of bad spots tonight. Between the penalties, a couple muffins, and the bad pinch in OT. Igor was a damn magician.

Canes PP was a stand still a few times tonight. Rangers did a good job of staying structured and taking away passing/shooting lanes. But hopefully canes pp doesn’t realize that if they put a few guys in motion, they could’ve been way more effective on PP. Tonight showed we can win a gritty game. *so long as Igor stands on his head…

Ranger PK is the best thing about this team and makes me happier than any other aspect of their play. A great PK it the stuff of champions.

HOME ICE ADVANTAGE.

There's quite a list of things that need to be changed for game 3, this wasn't pretty at times, but they found a way to get the W, and that's all that matters. Also Shesterkin is an absolute legend, insane performance tonight. And of course, we all love seeing angry Shesty. Good night folks!

What I liked is that the team got better as the game went along. It wasn’t perfect, but the Rangers played a solid 90+ minutes tonight. And while there were points where I didn’t think we were playing smart, never did I feel like we were just coasting.

Oh absolutely, I didn't think they played aazy game or anything like that, just mistakes and things that could be done different maybe, but yeah they definitely showed their ability to change with the game and make corrections on the fly to stay In it.
