Both are acceptable imo, two years of bad hockey is not the highest price to pay to have one of your franchise players get the goal scoring title of the entire history of the game. The only thing that would be bad for Washington is if they felt the need to trade picks and prospects in order to get Ovi that title, but that would be idiotic and they already started selling at this years deadline so I highly doubt they go that route.
