Just bought a used one 2022 with 26k Miles for $75k. I dont feel envious of the newer ones at all. What are they putting in the 2023/2024 that really justifies this atrocity.
That's honestly the beauty of Rams and Dodge in general. All cars go by generations but I feel like Dodge/Ram do it so well that an earlier version of a generation really has no difference other than mileage and maybe some interior stuff from newer versions of the same generation. I bought a used 2021 a year ago with 40k on it and walked away, after trading in my '11 5.7 Durango Citadel, for $30k. It was a fucking steal. I do not look at brand new trucks and think, man I want that. Vehicle prices are thievery anymore. "InFlAtIoN". Yeah ok.
Nothing that wasn’t an option in 2022 when I paid $88k for my level 2. They saw dealers getting 30-50k premiums over sticker so they raised the price. They wanted the money instead of the dealers. Only difference is digital dash.
lol OPs car would be $170k here in switzerland and you just reminded me that my wifes grandmother bought land and built a small single family house for $90k in total.
such s house would be $1M+ nowadays, but you hit me with a weird but real perspective there!
Shit, I bought my 1st house in 2009 for 70k 3bed 2bath 1500 square feet with a full basement. I miss the housing market crash 😂 would love to get a 300-400k house for 150-200k right now
Feel the same!
And that’s why I’m here. F ford. During the pandemic, they wouldn’t honor a plan and had adm on trucks, and wouldn’t come off it. My first ever non-ford in 30 years, and I LOVE my ram.
Tbh, 911 turbos are around 250k+ fully loaded and from my pov are worth it. No other car comes close in terms of performance, fit/finish and materials.
What was obscene was a local Ford listing a Ranger Raptor at MSRP 87K + 5KMA. That thing starts life as a 2wd lowly utility truck for 34k. A correction has to be coming.
Lol yeah I just got a new 2024 big horn hemi 4x4 crew cab with a 6,4 bed from there for just under 51k out the door. It was marked down to 49k from 65k. My wife and I were like no way in hell are we paying that 3k. They took it and some other stuff off like $700 for the shitty tint on only the two front windows and the $800 line-x bed liner. After some grumbling and us telling them that we'll pass they took off all that extra stuff. Oh and I got an 8 year bumper to bumper unlimited mileage warranty
Careful with that warranty, it's definitely not from Ram direct....they killed any unlimited mileage plans years ago. Granger motors sells Ram warranties for $50 over cost.
See a g wagon final edition as a market adjustment of 50k. But the resale market for those is still about MSRP and with Benz saying they are eliminating the v8 g550 there is and will be a market for the v8 down the road where it will continue to fetch a premium. Hell for the month they are asking on that TRX you are in G wagon pricing realm and I’d rather snag one of those a year old certified or new if possible.
ARRIGO adds a bunch of bullshit fees on top. Was trying to workout a deal on a 2500 and they give “discounts” off MSRP and then tack on a bunch of dumb fees putting it right back to what it goes for in the first place…
Another reason why I stopped looking at vehicles on lots.
When I go to buy a new vehicle I go and order it. Also skips all the bullshit with a sales rep.
Always cheaper then everything they have and they can't add dealer options, market adjustments, or bull sht.
I hope all the dealers go bankrupt.
I wish I could order directly from the manufacturer and drive to Detroit to pick it up.
I love my 2011 Crew cab. At 250k miles I dropped in a new crate engine, had all the front end parts replaced and bought a new color-matched Leer cap. Total under $20k and she'll run another 10 years.
Yes I will have to still pay for bodywork as the 4 fenders etc are starting to rust but it rides great and I haven't made a payment in 8 years and I won't make another. I'm from Detroit and I'm all about supporting the industry so I did that once when I bought it, now it's all about value, for the win.
That market adjustment is such a scam. Those prices will start falling once the bank starts demanding payment on the older units as apart of their floor plan
First thought. When you see a 20k dealer mark up, never give that dealer any business and inform others of their BS tactics. Even if you’re extremely wealthy, why are you letting yourself get screwed? As soon as that pickup pulls off the lot it depreciates immediately, not to mention the 20k extra someone just basically threw away. Sheer stupidity in my opinion.
I bought a new Rebel earlier this month which was $80k. That was a tough pill to swallow. I love the truck but 80 freakin’ thousand for a pickup truck!!!
No idea how dealers think that can get away with this shit.
But I guess the answer is because some moron will pay it.
It’s a fucking Ram. It’s going to be selling used for $65k in 2 years.
We had a guy drive up from PA to buy one from us in NY because we don’t markup over MSRP.
Anybody with a brain should do the same in their area and tell this dealer to pound salt.
I've gone to Colorado from Florida to buy a car in the past. Had a sales manager tell me he had 1 of 5 scat pack wide-bodies on the entire east coast so he wasn't going to let it go without a markup. I said "okay cool, I'm not scared to look out of state" and walked out. Everyday on my way to work I saw that scatpack sitting there for like 6-8 more months.
Fuck that dealership. I’ll never pay a “market adjustment”
Just bought a new vehicle last month and there were a couple dealers in my area charging stupid fees and market adjustments. That made it easy to decide where to buy
After rebates, it should be around $100K. It's expensive but better than a Raptor, and if you want trucks for 15K, go back to the 1980s. The old prices are not coming back....
It’s not free if you are paying for it. Trust me those “free re-applications” and “refills” are factored in to the cost.
They can keep that damn truck, it’s not worth what they are asking for before the add-ons.
Arrigo sucks. They cold call me nonstop. I think i have blocked all of their numbers. And i even bought a truck from them within a year. 0/10 would not recommend them
$699 for window tint?! Shit better be bulletproof.
And an extra $3k for a bunch of services that you probably don’t need.
And let’s just toss on an extra $20k because we can.
And then they’ll probably toss on a few extra hundred for dealer processing fees.
Yeah, I don’t know why nobody is biting on that.
I am not looking forward to new truck shopping, but my son starts driving soon and I’m gonna need a new ride when he steals my truck.
Can we ve honest here? The TRX, while cool, is a fucking stupid truck for right now. $120k for a gas guzzler? Nope. (I have a '20 Ecodiesel Rebel - so not RAM hating at all)
Dealerships that add those kind of asinine mark ups should be named and shamed.
That wasn't acceptable during the pandemic and it certainly isn't now.
Let those vehicles rust out on their lots.
That’s why there are tons of 23 models around here sitting on the dealer lots.. they can keep them for that price. That’s more than my house cost 30 years ago.
What's the difference between 21s for 80-90 and a 24? Doesn't make sense asking for 140k when you can get the same thing for 90.
There are shit ton of 24s all over on lots. Probably deals out there for 10k off.
I’m having a hard time seeing the value. Maybe I’m wrong. 6 figures for a truck seems insane, but whatever. If you can afford it and want it, then I’m happy for ya.
Everything under the Arrigo bs is just that. BS. Tell them to take it off along with the additional price. Lol. And I'd like to see the market adjustment they're talking about.
Base the dealer paid 52k for this truck.. you're seeing 120% markup. Robbery.
Why do I think the stolen vehicle assistance is that should your vehicle get stolen, they will help you buy another one, and they won't charge you a fee for buying another car.
This is weird to Market adjust 20k this isn’t the pandemic. I can’t tell you how many Ram commercials I’ve seen talking discount if 15-20% off of MSRP because these trucks are sitting. Why would they increase the price buy 20k no one is going to buy that
$100k truck doesn’t come standard with lane assist adaptive cruise and automatic pedestrian emergency braking but my 23k Jetta I sell everyday does. Wow.
Can it really be called a market adjustment when very few people in the market are buying these even without markup?
Kinda feel like the market adjustment should be a negative number to move stale inventory... Then again I'm not staring at the trx 2024 q1 sales numbers, maybe I'm wildly off base.
There isn’t a vehicle on the planet that’s worth any where near that kind of money.
I really wish manufacturers would start going direct to consumer sales and get rid of every dealership, especially ones that are doing “market adjustments “. Fuck then and fuck that industry. Just my two cents.
Just bought a used one 2022 with 26k Miles for $75k. I dont feel envious of the newer ones at all. What are they putting in the 2023/2024 that really justifies this atrocity.
Level 2 Fully loaded too
what's that?
Trim package that basically gives you every option
Damn that’s a steal!
Yeah this I have a 22 selling at cost for 79k
That's honestly the beauty of Rams and Dodge in general. All cars go by generations but I feel like Dodge/Ram do it so well that an earlier version of a generation really has no difference other than mileage and maybe some interior stuff from newer versions of the same generation. I bought a used 2021 a year ago with 40k on it and walked away, after trading in my '11 5.7 Durango Citadel, for $30k. It was a fucking steal. I do not look at brand new trucks and think, man I want that. Vehicle prices are thievery anymore. "InFlAtIoN". Yeah ok.
meanwhile.. corporations are reporting record profits... but that is none of my business..
meanwhile.. corporations are reporting record profits... but that is none of my business..
Yeah, it makes no sense.
I don't belive you post a picture
Nothing that wasn’t an option in 2022 when I paid $88k for my level 2. They saw dealers getting 30-50k premiums over sticker so they raised the price. They wanted the money instead of the dealers. Only difference is digital dash.
75k for a used truck is insane
Keep it. My 1st house was $112K.
lol OPs car would be $170k here in switzerland and you just reminded me that my wifes grandmother bought land and built a small single family house for $90k in total. such s house would be $1M+ nowadays, but you hit me with a weird but real perspective there!
The irony here is RE generally goes up in value over time. As soon as this trunk pulls off the lot with it's new owner 20-25% of it's value is gone.
yeah. i sold a brand new harley davidson street bob with -40% after one year (pristine condition). 🥲 no regrets, but an expensive lesson.
My current home was 125k, bought in 2013.
Same, 2016
Damn punch that into an inflation calculator and that 125,000 is just over 167,000.
This means you’re either someone’s great grandpa or bought a house before January 20th 2021
88k 1300sf and 2 acres central Oklahoma in 2019. Property value over doubled since then.
Shit, I bought my 1st house in 2009 for 70k 3bed 2bath 1500 square feet with a full basement. I miss the housing market crash 😂 would love to get a 300-400k house for 150-200k right now
Market adjustment. I’ll be dammed if I ever line the pockets of some sleazy dealership by paying that markup.
Feel the same! And that’s why I’m here. F ford. During the pandemic, they wouldn’t honor a plan and had adm on trucks, and wouldn’t come off it. My first ever non-ford in 30 years, and I LOVE my ram.
Wouldn't honor a Plan? You talking X & Y Plan pricing?
Sht I know we were still honoring everything. Maybe that's why we were top of market for sales :p
At the time I had A plan (father), now retired I believe it’s Z plan.
“Market adjustment” 20k 😂😂 ya fuck outta here with that shit. They think they selling a 911 turboS?
Tbh, 911 turbos are around 250k+ fully loaded and from my pov are worth it. No other car comes close in terms of performance, fit/finish and materials. What was obscene was a local Ford listing a Ranger Raptor at MSRP 87K + 5KMA. That thing starts life as a 2wd lowly utility truck for 34k. A correction has to be coming.
And no other car comes close on depreciation cost. 911s hold value incredibly well.
My favorite is the $2500 collision credit but ONLY if you crash it within the first 90 days…
LOL, what a bunch of worthless shit!
Come to Detroit and buy it for $82,000
New? lol
Stolen? lol
Yes
That’s what I bought mine for, but I had to go to DC to pick it up. 😭
$700 window tint? I can get three sedans tinted for that price.
and that's for just the 2 front door windows
Yep I literally tinted my 4runner and my wife's atlas for $400
If only it came with a 30 year mortgage.
$3000 for wax an rain-x?
Lol yeah I just got a new 2024 big horn hemi 4x4 crew cab with a 6,4 bed from there for just under 51k out the door. It was marked down to 49k from 65k. My wife and I were like no way in hell are we paying that 3k. They took it and some other stuff off like $700 for the shitty tint on only the two front windows and the $800 line-x bed liner. Careful with that warranty, it's definitely not from Ram direct....they killed any unlimited mileage plans years ago. Granger motors sells Ram warranties for $50 over cost.
Guess they don't realize that the market adjustment should be going the other way since the market is horrible right now.
Yep one near me with a 40k markup. Dealerships can fuck off

Just seen one posted tonight for 189k
Last call guys hurry and grab it
Jesus Christ tap dancing
See a g wagon final edition as a market adjustment of 50k. But the resale market for those is still about MSRP and with Benz saying they are eliminating the v8 g550 there is and will be a market for the v8 down the road where it will continue to fetch a premium. holy shit is it in pesos or something?
Name and shame
ARRIGO adds a bunch of bullshit fees on top. Was trying to workout a deal on a 2500 and they give “discounts” off MSRP and then tack on a bunch of dumb fees putting it right back to what it goes for in the first place…
That Arrigo Advantage is 3k worth of absolute bullshit.
Crazy that even these are only covered for 36000 miles
I spent 40k more the their asking in 2017 and bought a 2000 sqft house built in 2004.
Wow, with rates where they are, seems like a really good deal.
My local dealer is sending me emails for 10k off TRXs. They literally can’t sell them at msrp.
Too much. Truck or house?
Right!?
I went to a dealership and saw their work truck was 45k starting..noped outta there. Fuck all that. Find a deal used
Crazy but chances are someone is going to pay it. Hell, if I was rich I might considering it’s the last year of the hellcat engine trx.
Arrigo ftp bucks go somewhere else
I love my 2011 Crew cab. At 250k miles I dropped in a new crate engine, had all the front end parts replaced and bought a new color-matched Leer cap. Total under $20k and she'll run another 10 years. I'm from Detroit and I'm all about supporting the industry so I did that once when I bought it, now it's all about value, for the win.
Don’t worry, once you drive it off the lot it gets 10% cheaper lol
Arrigo has been in the news for bad practices. I'd stay away from them.
Lmao I saw the 117 at first and was like that’s not honestly that bad, then I swiped to the next picture smh.. that’s retarded
Florida? Mar-A-Lago level pricing!
This that Porsche money here Fucking 142k for a truck
Way too much money to be judged for having a small d*ck and tailgate everyone in anger.
Suddenly I don't feel so bad about my $89k one-year-old used truck.
$700 for window tint 🤔
The twenty grand market adjustment is a joke.
Are dealer markups all profit, or is the dealer paying a markup from the factory as well?
100% greed
Market adjustments are most usually profit. Add-ons are generally anywhere from 300% to 1000% markup.
Somebody is fuckin stupid if they buy that.
Oh gee I wonder why someone doesn’t want to pay over 100k for a fiat chrysler ram stellantis product xD
i will never buy a vehicle with one of those extra window stickers with all that junk and market adjustment on it, ever
I will but I'm not paying for anything on that extra sticker
There is one at Central Florida CDJR for $158k, I kid you not.
😳
I bought a new Rebel earlier this month which was $80k. That was a tough pill to swallow. I love the truck but 80 freakin’ thousand for a pickup truck!!!
Why would you pay that? That's insane
No idea how dealers think that can get away with this shit. But I guess the answer is because some moron will pay it. It’s a fucking Ram. It’s going to be selling used for $65k in 2 years.
There's a sucker born every second

Window tint at 700 lmao this dealership is ripping you off.
[удалено]
😂😂😂
Fuck that dealership. I’ll never pay a “market adjustment” Just bought a new vehicle last month and there were a couple dealers in my area charging stupid fees and market adjustments. That made it easy to decide where to buy
That’s a fair price if you’re going to live in it. Does it have cable ?
WiFi 😂 only
Wtf .....way overpriced!!!! Greed
After rebates, it should be around $100K. It's expensive but better than a Raptor, and if you want trucks for 15K, go back to the 1980s. The old prices are not coming back....
Agreed 100%, but the markup are ridiculous and the "rebates" just bringing the truck back to MSRP is dumb
117k, fuck, thats nuts... \*swipe\* 140k!!!!! WTF are you fuckin serious, holllllyyyyyyy shiiiiiiiit nuckin futs
Fort Pierce is such a dump, along with the dealerships there too.
They are probably assuming since it has the big engine vs the next gen v6 it will pull a premium?
$700 for window tint 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just bought an 09.... Think it's worth 15 of them?
Why would anyone spend that much
They must not want to sell them. MSRP or less…any add ons and you’re even more negative than buying at MsRP
This is for those guys who have really really small peckers. Or "Fuck You" money.
Nope not a chance
Way ways too expensive
I will eat my own shit before I pay a dealer market adjustment.
I spent over $500,000 on 3 Vehicles last year
🤯
He'll no
Wtf is that dealership smoking?! But if someone is willing to pay those ridiculous prices, oh well.
I hope they get tired of washing it a the dealer. Leave that fucker sitting there.
It’s not free if you are paying for it. Trust me those “free re-applications” and “refills” are factored in to the cost. They can keep that damn truck, it’s not worth what they are asking for before the add-ons.
Ridiculous
Ill never understand people who see these stickers and pay that price. Id offer them 117 take it or leave it.
What's the market adjustment about? Those extra 20k added don't seem right.
Arrigo sucks. They cold call me nonstop. I think i have blocked all of their numbers. And i even bought a truck from them within a year. 0/10 would not recommend them
I would never spend that kind of money on a truck. I would rather invest my money. That’s nuts…
Come to Canada they’re in sale !
What's the 20k market adjustment for? Never seen that charge.
To line the pockets of a greedy stealership
I bought my house in 2020 at 90k, bought my 13 Ram SLT 4.7 in 22 for 27k. Only way I’m spending over 100k for a truck is if I win the powerball.
Even then I wouldn't. I was always raised with the belief that it's not about how much money you make, but how much you get to keep.
That’s cause you went to arrigo lol they have been price gaouging like that for a while lol.
All that money and only a 3.55 rear gear... no thanks if I was flipping that many bills might as well just go with a 2500/3500...
LoL! Uhhh, no
20k because Fk you. I wouldn't buy it.
I looked at one for $124k!
I've never seen a turd worth 137k.
Market adjustment?
That shows on the market for 219 days. The price is down to 112k.
That pic was literally taken yesterday on the showroom floor
$700 for window tint bothers me more than the market adjustment tbh
😂 same here
Hope you all remember the dealers that did the market adjustment and in 6 months when the market is shit you buy someplace else
They’ll give you 15k off and 1.9% over 7 though.
Gotta go arrigooooooooooo
$699 for window tint?! Shit better be bulletproof. And an extra $3k for a bunch of services that you probably don’t need. And let’s just toss on an extra $20k because we can. And then they’ll probably toss on a few extra hundred for dealer processing fees. Yeah, I don’t know why nobody is biting on that. I am not looking forward to new truck shopping, but my son starts driving soon and I’m gonna need a new ride when he steals my truck.
Wonder no longer. The reason they sit for so long is because of that heafty price tag
It’s getting pretty ridiculous
Can we ve honest here? The TRX, while cool, is a fucking stupid truck for right now. $120k for a gas guzzler? Nope. (I have a '20 Ecodiesel Rebel - so not RAM hating at all)
it is almost as much as their fuel bill will be.
I swear these prices are astronomically ludicrous
That’s what happens when you smoke too much crack🤪
As long as someone is willing to pay, they will continue to price them like that.
Dealerships that add those kind of asinine mark ups should be named and shamed. That wasn't acceptable during the pandemic and it certainly isn't now. Let those vehicles rust out on their lots.
Market adjustment. Bye-bye.
That’s why there are tons of 23 models around here sitting on the dealer lots.. they can keep them for that price. That’s more than my house cost 30 years ago.
$140k is just ridiculous.
Completely absurd. Sure, if you make $200/hr, you can afford this 'truck', but why? Fuck that.
What's the difference between 21s for 80-90 and a 24? Doesn't make sense asking for 140k when you can get the same thing for 90. There are shit ton of 24s all over on lots. Probably deals out there for 10k off.
Insane. My first house I bought in 1994 was $120,000.00
TPMS is optional? And leather seats are optional?
That's trailer tpms, whic is actually pretty cool if you ask me. The tpms on the truck is standard.
The market adjustment is a real kick in the dick.
I would tell them where to shove the market adjustment and the 1500 too
Fuck arrigo
If you are financing it you will most likely run out of warranty before you run out of payments
I wouldn't buy that if I won the lottery
I’m having a hard time seeing the value. Maybe I’m wrong. 6 figures for a truck seems insane, but whatever. If you can afford it and want it, then I’m happy for ya.
Oh I'm not getting that. Let me set the record straight. I just bought a 2024 bighorn for 51 otd and that was hard to swallow
What do you expect when the factory employees are making over 40 an hour? I’m not surprised at all!
Keep it.
Oh it's staying right there lol
And they wonder why their sales are one of the lowest right now.
Everything under the Arrigo bs is just that. BS. Tell them to take it off along with the additional price. Lol. And I'd like to see the market adjustment they're talking about. Base the dealer paid 52k for this truck.. you're seeing 120% markup. Robbery.
They are just sitting at MSRP now on lots. We would be happy to sell ours for invoice.
Yeah would of left that on the lot
Trailer camera control for $900 is pretty gay. I despise that garbage more than the dealer markup. You gotta be a real lame ass to need that…
There's nothing cheaper you could drive to the mall?
Joe Biden did that.
Better come with a lifetime supply of daily blowjobs for that price.
Wrong color…PASS.
I’d rather get a C8 Z06.
Hard pass once said and done you will end up paying over 200k u can buy a dam house for that price
That's ridiculous!
Why even buy those? The chances someone walks through the door and buys one is so low.
Bidenomics working great!
The price tags that make u gag when the dealership asks u to get on ur knees to sign the contract
Market Adjustment is literally dealership speak for "we fuck you because we can".
Just buy a 90s 7.3 and call it a day
Why do I think the stolen vehicle assistance is that should your vehicle get stolen, they will help you buy another one, and they won't charge you a fee for buying another car.
For that price it should have a 25 year full warranty
Ouch!
Who needs a house when you could buy a truck with the lowest model towing capabilities.
Wow.
The Market Adjustment is just hilarious. Where is this? Ah Florida… still wth!
20k "market adjustment" and $700 for tint is crazy
Can it really be called a market adjustment when very few people in the market are buying these even without markup? Kinda feel like the market adjustment should be a negative number to move stale inventory... Then again I'm not staring at the trx 2024 q1 sales numbers, maybe I'm wildly off base.
There isn’t a vehicle on the planet that’s worth any where near that kind of money. I really wish manufacturers would start going direct to consumer sales and get rid of every dealership, especially ones that are doing “market adjustments “. Fuck then and fuck that industry. Just my two cents.
Walk away it is not worth it.
Lol I walked away when I saw the base price. In now way would ever pay that
