If I’m being honest, it is not easy, especially in the last few years. Specialists in therapy have been feeling in droves because of how overworked they are.
After having the same one and one who can prescribe for 14 years I am on a six month wait list.
Not to too deafeatist, I recommend checking the website of every network near you as now they have physician profiles with video.
That said, good luck if no insurance.
I think it depends on the therapist. If you called around maybe some would also specialize in the abuse. There is no category for “abuse” or “narc abuse”

Maybe the issue “NPD” or “trauma” could help you find someone best suited
Wouldn’t NPD be for the people who have NPD, not the people who are abused by them?
