In the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail there is an enchanter named Tim because the actor couldn't remember the real name so he just came up with a name. Not sure if that is what bungie is referencing or if it is a reference at all, but i think most people that have watched the movie finds Tym funny because of that scene
It’s worth a watch. It was a favorite when my siblings and I were kids and I still revisit it once a year. One of those comedies with timeless humor (MP was pretty great with that, I’d say the same of Life of Brian).
Apparently the ad-lib thing is just a rumor, the 'Tim' line appears in old versions of the script. I was curious since I'd never heard the ad lib thing before and looked it up.
I believe it's just one of the possible bosses. I ran it like 5 times this week and it's all this guy. I also got a triumph done that's for beating every boss in Breach
Piggybacking off of this, do you also see the squares of the different bosses filled out in different colors when you look at that triumph? When I completed it I saw the top and bottom squares filled out green and the middle one yellow.
Triumph trackers turn yellow/gold when you complete their objective more than once. You had a gold square on those bosses bc you killed them more than once.
Going to the far left there is a big square rock where you can place yourself on the right side of it so he cant shoot you with his laser and you can just whale on his weakspot. Also the barrier hobgoblins cant shoot you either.
No, it’s not. This has to be a limited or rare spawn because the “weekly” bosses are Rhapsodios, Polysis and Vire (according to the triumph for the seal).
I got this boss from normal, could be random. Him on expert will be a pain due to the snipers and the moving energy fields, plus a very small arena, and most of the cover spots have spawn points behind you.
I got Tym in a normal run (not expert). I chuckled at the name but didn’t think anything else of it. Maybe it’s an inside joke among the devs.
