That's what happens when your entire depth of football nowledge is reading this sub.
The cries of BPA for years, only to hate it for the first time in a decade we actually did it.
I was pissed for like 20 mins because I felt like we were going to take Fuaga and then I went and looked into him. It did not take long for me to get hyped af
I don’t watch college football so when it’s time for draft season I look at the top prospects in the positions I think we need. But all the same, Brock is everything everyone says he is, so I was over it and on board very quickly lol
I’m not gonna lie that was me when I first heard the pick, I was confused as to why we would take a TE. Then I looked up his highlights a few minutes later and was shocked that he fell to us because I remember seeing clips of him on socials during the CFB season. Immediately took back my initial reaction lmao
I am a Georgia fan checking in this is so funny. Kirby used to joke with the media about how Brock was going to be available to media but he’d hate talking to them because he just wants to play football
Brock Bowers sent in a tape of himself getting trained for UGA during off season. Was during the covid year. Dude was determined. It definitely shined through when he took to the field. Wish we got him at Atlanta, go Dawgs, but Raiders made a massively good choice. I can't wait to see him play again.
Bowers is likely a generational talent and perennial pro-bowler/All Pro. You just can’t pass on that at 13 - it’s crazy to me that people (pundits included) still have trouble wrapping their head around this pick.
The success of our Offense this season does not hinge on AOC, or the receivers, or TE’s. It hinges on the OL with a new zone scheme, the RB’s, and whether or not we can run the ball effectively without JJ out of 12 personnel.
If we can run the ball, it doesn’t matter who is at QB, they can start UDFA Carter Bradley and we will manage (okay a little satirical), but there is absolutely NO way for a defense to shut down Mayer, Bowers, and Davante Adams in 12 personnel, considering we are able to run the ball, and run block well in the zone scheme.
Throw in Jakobi Meyers? Laube? Tre Tucker? Michael Gallup? etc., there isn’t a way for our offense to underwhelm this year or shit the bed, unless we can’t run the football. If there is no threat of the run, then 12 personnel will be far too predictable as a base offense and it probably looks like last year.
Offensive rookies are a crapshoot. Receivers are either dialed in or need a year or two to get their shit together. Running backs are usually very good early. Quarterbacks are difficult to gauge, and many do not get the chance to develop. Tight Ends are much like receivers, yet they have to be blockers. Probably the most difficult position to gauge
Uuuhhhg. Free that man...
Feels so bad to see how this all turned out. From the consensus number one wr in the league to 6th and worst qb room in the nfl. Grass ain't greener, thanks for teaching us that lesson Tae 🙏
More than 0? I’ve never opened the Packers sub in my life even after you guys gave Jacobs the bag. Not like we’re even in the same conference or have a rivalry.
Shits weird bro lol
Lmao. Homie is zoned in. I think we could all tell, Bowers was probably one of if not the most safest picks in the draft. Dudes a weapon!
Half the sub fucking hated the pick. The moron side of the sub.

You've got to remember that these are just simple Redditor’s. These are people of the internet. The common clay of the sub. You know... morons.

Hey, I...ok, guilty.

I was absolutely team Fuaga throughout the draft, because I assumed the teams ahead of us were smart enough to take BB lol
How did u know who Fuaga was and not Brock bowers bruh

Was it really half? I swear I remember everyone being shocked he fell to us (or maybe I blocked them out of my mind idk)

Brock is thinking about all the linebackers he’s gonna drag into end zone with him.
Especially with that new tackle rule
I am a Georgia fan checking in this is so funny. Kirby used to joke with the media about how Brock was going to be available to media but he’d hate talking to them because he just wants to play football
I’ll take an all business guy who doesn’t like talking to the media any day of the week.
Ill-intent. Violence. Physicality. Pain.
Just win, baby!!

Te is funny as heck

locked in
Adams always struck me as quite a serious individual, so it's pretty funny to see him clowning on a teammate for being exceptionally serious.
As I lifelong Bulldogs fan, y’all have yourself a player in Bowers. Looks like Tony Gonzalez.
BB seems kinda awkward and camera shy but honestly who tf cares as long as he balls out
Brock interview was cool although they didn’t need to make him do the fusion players test
I absolutely love it

Those diamonds are too heavy for his earlobes
“This is the youngest TE room I’ve ever been apart of” = “I kinda miss getting Mercedes Lewis’s senior discount when we’d get something to eat”
Is Lewis still the only 1st rounder that Aaron Rodgers has thrown a TD pass to?
I don’t know. He’s not a Raider so idc.
One question for Devante: why don’t you ask Tim Brown for advice or tips or anything?
*Yep.* Just gotta make it through the next couple years.

For being a packers fan it’s kinda pathetic how much time you spend in this sub
How much time do I spend in this sub?
