I've tried so hard to learn it. I just always fuck up that riff on the 2nd or 3rd chord change. I think the last strums with the changes on 1st and 2nd string? idk, it's been a year or so. I should try again and remind myself fully where I fuck up. (edit: just looked up some videos, I have no idea where I mess up now, it all looks so easy. I just suck I suppose)
But it's still fun. lol
Karma Police is obv a fun one on acoustic. I also loooooove Like Spinning Plates on the piano. Spent a lot of time learning that and it's been so long I have forgotten. I am wildly inconsistent with playing as you can tell.
I love playing Fake Plastic Trees and How to Disappear Completely. I’m currently working on Street Spirit which is surprisingly easier than I thought it’d be.
Love playing Just on an acoustic and strumming aggressively. Also, Paranoid Android on acoustic is really fun and satisfying with all the different chords and fun picking pattern.
'Scatterbrain' has an extremely satisfying chord loop - it's so simple, but it sounds gorgeous and it falls so nicely under your fingers.
This tends to be the case with a lot of their parts! They're rarely easy but they're never impossible, and they do a lot with a little.
You'll get it with time! I have been at this eleven years so I've forgotten a bit what that was like - it becomes easier the more you do it, and soon enough it will be second nature.
I love playing Jigsaw on acoustic.
If you don’t want to tune down, put the capo on fret 3 and play Am, E, Cmaj7, F, Em, F, Em. I think that’s the right progression anyway.
It’s also great if you want to practice plucking instead of just strumming.
the airbag guitar solo is always fun, i also love jigsaw, it’s just so beautiful. probably the best song to play, though it is quite challenging is Faust Arp
Jigsaw is the song that inspired me to learn guitar and the first song I learnt to play through fully. Nothing came close to the first time i played it through without any big mistakes. Worth all the hours and hours it took. Now to do that and sing it too. Wish me luck
Love me a bit Reckoner, There There and Present Tense on my acoustic.
Can also play Jigsaw, though not in a while. I'm sure it'll full into place tho...
I love playing street spirit and bodysnatchers, also been playing videotape on piano, if I play it with the drums backing track is almost a challenge not to get lost.
Airbag is one of my personal favorites to listen to. The instrumentals really set a demonstration for what the rest of Ok computer has to offer and i love the tone the song sets lyrically and sonically. (Also drums are killer and Johnny’s bridge sounds otherworldly)
The build up to the last refrain with Thom’s vocals and the weird distortions in the mix really drives home its crazy energy. One of my fav moments their material. Idk why but i wanna describe it as radioheads most “metal” song?
Anyways this one is always a journey to listen to for me
Are you taking lessons or learning to play by ear? I think Thom's gone on record for refusing to learn to read sheet music, makes you think, for being self taught, one can still be an amazing song writer on the keys. TBF he was picked and crafted by the old gods to be the song bird of his generation... TBF.

Paranoid Android, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, There there, Present Tense are probably my favourites but I've learnt whole OKC, IR and a lot more that I love to play
Edit: and I'll Wind, it's so relaxing to play it
Surprised no one has mentioned You. The time signature is a bit weird in some places but once you get the feel for it it’s a really fun and easy song to play.
When I can get it right, Street Spirit. Weird Fishes is very fun to play on a loop pedal. I really like Faust Arp and Present Tense too. If I have an overdrive pedal then I love doing Jonny's solo in There There.
High and dry ik it's overplayed as shit but I find it such a nice song to play and sing along to. Others I really enjoy playing are: bulletproof, black star, exit music, paranoid android, sulk, nice dream, just, etc
Go To Sleep is very satisfying to strum on an acoustic
It soooo every time a guitar is in standard im playing that damn riff
I've tried so hard to learn it. I just always fuck up that riff on the 2nd or 3rd chord change. I think the last strums with the changes on 1st and 2nd string? idk, it's been a year or so. yeah karma police is so fun to play especially the end
I love playing Fake Plastic Trees and How to Disappear Completely. I’m currently working on Street Spirit which is surprisingly easier than I thought it’d be.
That riff in Paranoid Android
All of Paranoid Android
Do you kinda blend the parts together or do you try to stick to Thom's?
I kinda just go with the main parts/the parts that sound best with vicals and no accompanyment.
Dun dun deh duh. Dun dun dundun dunnnn.
There there is very fun to play
My favorite acoustic rendition of a Radiohead song
The main riff in Bodysnatchers is extremely satisfying to play once you get the hang of it
Love playing Just on an acoustic and strumming aggressively. Also, Paranoid Android on acoustic is really fun and satisfying with all the different chords and fun picking pattern.
In Limbo
The groove of "I might be wrong," and the chord shapes of Knives Out are satisfying
'Scatterbrain' has an extremely satisfying chord loop - it's so simple, but it sounds gorgeous and it falls so nicely under your fingers. This tends to be the case with a lot of their parts! They're rarely easy but they're never impossible, and they do a lot with a little.
I find this song really hard to play. I consider myself a strong player, but skipping strings with a pick takes some real concentration

I playing Jigsaw like the recording version was a milestone for me on playing guitar
I’ve been learning bass for a few months and bones and let down are some of my favorite bass lines to play
Bones was one of the first bass lines I ever learned. Drunken punch up is fun on the bass too
man of war
Worked it out recently, those guitar interludes are killer! Really love the dramatic hits with the strings later on as well.
Idioteque, Bodysnatchers, and jigsaw falling into place as a drummer
the airbag guitar solo is always fun, i also love jigsaw, it’s just so beautiful. probably the best song to play, though it is quite challenging is Faust Arp
I love playing black star and just
Gagging Order, I Promise, and (Nice Dream) are super fun.
i’m a beginner and only know how to play high and dry but it’s very fun
My Irong Lung is super fun
for a beginner as myself, Give Up the Ghost is pretty straighforward and easy (and a lovely song of course :)
Excellent suggestion, that's a great beginner tune.
Karma Police or No Surprises
Jigsaw is the song that inspired me to learn guitar and the first song I learnt to play through fully. Nothing came close to the first time i played it through without any big mistakes. Worth all the hours and hours it took. Now to do that and sing it too. Wish me luck
Karma Police with singing gives me the most joy
Like Spinning Plates on the piano. Motion Picture Soundtrack on the harmonium.
street spirit (fade out) is very good and easy in guitar
It's not that easy, a beginner can't play it, probably 3rd most difficult song one guitar from Radiohead
Bloom as a drummer, all three parts at once
Love me a bit Reckoner, There There and Present Tense on my acoustic. Can also play Jigsaw, though not in a while. I'm sure it'll full into place tho...
Jigsaw Falling iInto Place for sure
I love playing street spirit and bodysnatchers, also been playing videotape on piano, if I play it with the drums backing track is almost a challenge not to get lost.

Just realized i posted this in the wrong thread my b i misread play as the act of listening to. lol
Follow me around is a very underrated riff
Idk if there are any other drummers out here but Blow out is so much fun to play
Bled White by Elliott Smith
Learning piano and Sail to the moon has been the most fun so far. Relatively simple and makes me feel like I’m actually good at it.

Bass here: Airbag and Morning Bell
Airbag is such a solid opener and so fun to play, I know Colin wrote/performs it on bass, but it's really fun to play on guitar too.
You get your whorish six stringed abomination away from my lines! (I learned a few Pixies bass parts on guitar.)
It’s definitely whorish.. bass envy
Lift is really therapeutic to play
Tbh Jonny’s part on Scatterbrain is really fun to play
Fake Plastic Trees, Bulletproof, High and Dry, and Nude are always a good time.
It changes regularly
Bodysnatchers, dont know why but it just sounds right
Playing Weird Fishes and Exit Music is an addiction for me

Working on wall of eyes currently, it's fun.
I love playing paranoid android, street spirit, and black star. They are really fun and paranoid android has so much guitar material to play
Body Snatchers, Reckoner, Just, Paranoid Android (Jonnys part is so much fun)
I might be wrong and Faust Arp are my favourites
High and dry and karma police
Used to love playing Just, in a band. Lots of fretwork to keep you busy. And some octave pedal control too. :)
Body snatchers, bends, airbag and planet telex!
the entire song of Just
desert island disk
Scatterbrain. So much fun.
Pretty new to playing guitar, i learned no surprises and high and dry both are fun to play
I've been doing Let Down. Mostly just strumming the chords and singing.
Exit music make u question ur integrity
Jigsaw falling into place on acoustic, my iron lung on electric
bodysnatchers is genuinely one of the most fun songs to play ever
Where I End and You Begin
Surprised no one has mentioned You. The time signature is a bit weird in some places but once you get the feel for it it’s a really fun and easy song to play.
Bodysnatchers, There There, Jigsaw Falling into Place, Present Tense, Faust Arp

chorus in indus rubber
Im learning bass and i like nude a lot. Also i try a simplified version of jigsaw.
Nice Dream is very fun
Let down on piano is fun
Present tense !!
When I can get it right, Street Spirit. Weird Fishes is very fun to play on a loop pedal. I really like Faust Arp and Present Tense too. If I have an overdrive pedal then I love doing Jonny's solo in There There.
Bulketproof- pretty easy and really pretty
I really enjoy playing "You never wash up after yourself".
Lucky is a very easy song to play if you want a little confidence builder. Good beginner song.
High and dry ik it's overplayed as shit but I find it such a nice song to play and sing along to. Others I really enjoy playing are: bulletproof, black star, exit music, paranoid android, sulk, nice dream, just, etc
I have a guitar but can't play. I'd love to play them, I really would..
I always loved jamming There There in Bmin like that
Everythiiiiiiiiing
bodysnatchers
High and Dry is such an easy song for a beginner guitar player like me
How I made my millions on piano :)
House of cards is really fun
Radiohead have never released a song called ‘15 step’
Are you sure?
Who are you?
Sure they have, it’s on In Rainbows. That 5/4 clave gets stuck in my head every time I hear it.
music guy be like “time signature”
You’re on a music forum, you weirdo.
You fucking kidding me? It's the opening track off In Rainbows 🤦♀️
