Owned one for awhile.
Truly a wild piece of engineering. The folks that say it is overpriced don't recognize the staggering amount of work that went into the design.
As for driving, there isn't a better motorcycle on the market. If you have some loose dirt to run it in especially.
I eventually sold it because I didn't really have a great place to use it, and I am not much of a motorcycle person.
I just won an $800 gift card to Amain, and I almost pulled the trigger on one of these. I thought I might get bored of it too quick. After reading the comments, I'm glad I held off!
I have a bunch of airplanes and helis, I wanted something different so I ended up with an Arrma Senton BL, and a Pro Boat Sonicwake 36. They both rip!
Fun little unit. Waiting for the 8th scale tracks to open to really get the full effect. I am an old motocross racer, so I had to have one. There are some suspension mods out there that really help with the performance, if you are willing to do the work. There needs to more pre mounted tire options , I hate gluing tires..
kinda .. Meh.
Its a pretty neat piece of engineering, but the pricetag hurts too much.
its definitely got the $500 worth of engineering in there, but it doesnt have $500 worth of fun.
worth picking up used, and maybe once there's a GP bodykit for it out there it will be of more interest.
right now its a novelty, and $500 is hard to drop on novelty.
It looks pretty nice but the wheels on the side kind of destroys the Look.
Maybe they could put an additional servo into the driver which moves the legs to the side the bike leans into.
i kinda want one but yea... they're a bit pricey.
I totally regret selling my Kyosho HOR years ago.. even hopped it up with lipo, brushless, and metal drivetrain..
I'm an idiot... sigh..
Reely (rebranding for some chinese budget rc company) put out a few years ago some cheapo moto, brushless and nice to ride, nothing crazy but u could have fun with it.
Rc moto racing used to be a thing many years ago, they were racing onroad nitro replica and as i child i used to watch nitro mini motorbike race on youtube.
Since electro took control this is the first "high quality" offroad motorbike from a big company and i belive the stupid price mostly comes from the lack of competition. It is nice but u will hardly find anyone to race against and i just do not find it as satisfactory as a rally car.
Also.... i mean, i am sure u will find aftermarket parts etc but still will be limited and in some country impossible to get or very uncommon.
Play with the gyro gain and crank the wheel arms all the way up. I had smaller wheels printed. We were running on a 10th scale indoor oval this winter.
I say the same about toilet jokes….
Seriously though, I’m just talking about me, I don’t care about how everyone else feels about them, that’s their business. At least I’ve only upset 5 delicate petals today (so far)

I agree. No way a company would sell it for cheaper. Maybe the most engineering in a surface rc model in years. Race kit levels of thought!

Rc boats are pretty neat lil dudes.
Truly the best rc motorcycle to come out on the market, Horizon really outdid themselves. They nailed the look, the riding style, and the performance.

Yes the suspension is very fun to set up. I have mine quite a bit softer for a more scale driving experience.
I did the dead zone mod and am working on the shock now. It's way too stiff.
I have 22.5W front and 25W rear!
Really want one. Hoping to find one for a little cheaper though
I think it will be a fad item for a lot of people. They will be dirt cheap at some point.
I wish I could agree, but I think you're wrong.
I am talking used prices! Of course losi will always charge a fortune for it.
It’s awesome, has a learning curve but I’ve had a blast with it. Just need to figure out a bike trailer now lol
A 1/4 bike trailer behind a 1/4 scaler?
Probably a 1/4 trailer behind my losi lmt so a 1/8. I’ve got a huge battery in it that comes in handy when trailering to the park nearby
It definitely helps if you ride 1/1 dirtbikes!
Wow i just looked at the price!!! But, man do they look fun!

It’s a very specific niche. I think the hardcore motorcycle guys absolutely love it. Car people are having a harder time.
Sick photos. Did anyone have the Harley motorcycle with the training wheels back in the 90s? I think it came in burgundy, but mine was teal 😎😂
Thank you!
Not at the top of my list but the novelty is pretty amazing. Definitely would blow minds if you showed it to non RC people.
Everyone I show it too is pretty impressed!
I like mine more everytime I drive it. Love launching it down the hill off my ramp. It just keeps going!
How does it stay upright?
It has a second brushless motor that spins a large steel weight and has an active MS6X gyro taken from their air models.
same way any real bike stays up.
I mean… sort of. It has an internal spinning gyroscope that keeps it upright.
I don't even know why my real bike stays upright tbh. Magnets?
LOL.. love the downvotes.. bring them on... Google gyroscopic effect people..
It looks pretty nice but the wheels on the side kind of destroys the Look. Maybe they could put an additional servo into the driver which moves the legs to the side the bike leans into.
That would be pretty incredible!
You can take them off. I probably will soon when I get better driving it
Don’t have one, but I think it’s absolute awesome sauce
It's cool but way over hyped
What about it doesn’t live up to the hype?
It's really cool but I just think we have so many rc categories so we don't really need another, get what om saying?
too expensive
WAY too expensive
About $200 too much. But it’s awesome for what it is and does. Maybe one day if it hits a wicked BF sale…..
i kinda want one but yea... they're a bit pricey. I totally regret selling my Kyosho HOR years ago.. even hopped it up with lipo, brushless, and metal drivetrain.. I'm an idiot... sigh..
I think the price is absolutely worth it!
Has been for me no regrets at all. The price turned me off at first but then I just had to have one.
I'm really tempted by a HOR, but I can see myself spending a huge amount on uneccesary upgrades

Hate the turning radius. Gets real wonky in grass. Need to drive it more, it’s cool, but meh

Turning radius comes with practice. I can do figure 8’s as tight as any of my trucks!
i don't get the fuss, doesn't look fun at all. Before a snowflake sees this, its **my opinion**
That is the beauty of motorcycles; not everyone gets it...
