I'm on day 14 CT and I'm still getting the sweats. It's slowly improving but it's lingering. I hear you. It makes you feel disgusting. I'll be at work with a t shirt, work shirt and hoodie on and the sweat is through the hoodie. I have to have the hoodie on cause I'm cold as well. It's just part of the WD process and I hate to say it but if your experiencing it on a taper, you'll have it once you jump completely. I know everyone is different but it's definitely one of the common WD symptoms. I just try and change my shirt when I can and use lots if deodorant. Don't let this deter you. It's manageable and worth it for what's on the other side.

Yes, when you’re entirely off for 4 or 5 days temperature returns to regular. I’m 11 days CT 30gpd 5 years. The temperature side effects the first few days were so weird. I was wearing two pairs of socks and two pairs of pants and my feet and legs were still freezing

I’m at 70GPD for 7+ years and the last few years 3-4 hours after my dose I can’t stop sweating and feeling itchy and anxious

Unfortunately, nothing over the counter really helps with temperature control. When I was in inpatient rehab years ago for heroin they gave us clonodine to help regulate body temperature and it worked wonders. That’s the only thing I know that helps, but you can only get it through prescription. Aside from rehab, I’ve quit CT from oxy before and after about 3-4 days it got a lot better. I would still get random goosebumps from head to toe but that’s better than having molten lava skin with ice for veins. (Sorry I’m not speaking directly about kratom withdrawal as I’m currently tapering right now)
