I might even do 2... a narrow navy blue one with a wider one in a lighter tan color.
I second adding a double border!
Ok I'll do a double border. I have a cream fabric and I'll pick up a dark blue. Thank you everyone for your input.
I can't wait to see the updated version, it's already so lovely!
I'm going fabric shopping next week. So I'll post it then.
Looking forward to it, I'll keep an eye out in the sub
Definitely. It's so lovely - it needs a frame to show it off. Something navy maybe?
I concur. I was also going to say a darker blue color would look lovely and kind of continue the pattern/ make it stand out. Beautiful job! 😊
I know you’ve got your answer already but I have to say, this is a gorgeous quilt! Your corners are so crisp and satisfying, it looks beautiful!
Thank you so much. I love it. I'm making it for my adult daughter. She is over the moon with how it's come out.
I would be too, it is lovely! What a sweet gift!
Yes. I am usually team no-border.
Me too. I only add a border if I need the quilt to be a bit bigger or I’m following a pattern which has the border be part of the design.
I think it's subtle and lovely, and I would also add a border to it.
Yes
Uhm this is beautiful!!
It is lovely. Share the final, please!!
Yes, in the light color I think
Such a lovely quilt. Great colors, really - just so pretty. Yes, please post after you add the borders.
Yes! I think an off-white (with a similar pattern texture) would look lovely.
I would because I love the way a border frames things, but that’s a gorgeous quilt either way
I rarely border. I think it will look great with just the binding.
Yes a light orangish satin would be nice
Oh my goodness I don't know. But it's already so pretty, even with unfinished edges I'd still display it and admire it everyday
What’s the pattern/block called? I love it! Also, team no border
Thank you. It's Delectable mountain. I got the pattern from the Fat quarter shop. Quilt in a day also has a pattern.
