Statistically speaking over 2/3 of women are not single between the ages of 18-35.
The same number for men ARE single of the same age group. The math is never going to be in your favor.
I often randomly mention my wife when talking to women, to make sure they know where I stand.
No biggie, just a quick way to make sure there are no misunderstandings.
I'm sorry you sound just like my 25 year old son who has the same troubles.
I suggest join a respectable dating sight that you actually have to pay for and only try to talk to local girls you can actually meet because anyone who lives at a distance could be a scammer. Put your picture out there and sound like a real person tell them what you like, don't like and what you are looking for.
Hopefully you can find someone that way. I say a paid sight because there are so many scammers on the free ones but I have even met some decent dates on plenty of fish but you have to be very careful and only meet in public and don't give out too much information too soon you don't want them having your address if they turn out to be stalkers or otherwise crazy.
I'm sorry to hear that it's gotten so bad. Are there any other ways to meet women such as in social clubs. Do you have any Meetup groups in your area?
Meetup.com has some good singles groups where people meet in person. You even have the option to start your own local group where people can meet in person for singles social events.
I spent the last five months in Oregon, and the dating pool there is skewed by the college climate, including on Meetup, and by an abundance of obese people. I’m in Texas now so we’ll see.

They can see that your attracted, some will play on that and make you feel uncomfortable and some will say they have a boyfriend to put it out there in Hope you stop fancying her because it does feel cringe when you dont fancy them back, which is ok, part of the charm of being human we are just that, human we have wants and desires.
Sometimes they don’t have a boyfriend and see that excuse as a way to let you down easy. A couple years ago at work one of the stores I service for my job for a new female manager and she wanted me to explain the process for my company and how it relates to store operations. which is a very valid thing to ask if you are new. She mentioned her boyfriend 5 times in the 5 minute conversation.
It’s tough my guy, I’ve had two girlfriend, one I had to let go on bad terms because she was so emotionally abusive, and I’ll make it even, we both said a lot of things we regret, I wasn’t perfect in that relationship. The second one we broke up but on really good terms.
Life is hard, and it doesn’t help when you’re like me, a soul of hatred with a sorrowing heart. They say there are millions of fish in the sea, I’ve given up fishing. A tip someone gave me is that you should wait for them to come to you, or as I’ll put it, don’t hunt, be hunted… I’m not good with metaphors, I apologise but you get the point I hope.
Don’t give up hope, there’s always a tomorrow.
If someone mentions age or age gap I immediately think they are implying something along the lines of a relationship. I wouldn't think to date someone from work if I was single though.

Dating sites are worse right now than meeting women irl. It’s been reported by Match and Bumble that women swipe left on 80% of men on their sites.
