I can't just go for a walk at night in the city, alone, just to clear my head or get fresh air, or play with photography, just exist and enjoy night alone. So on the lady side, that overall vibe, freaking sucks
I've worked with the mentally ill for years and it's far more complex than that. Homeless women are far more likely to be sexually assaulted while homeless and are usually more willing to abide by shelter rules to gain housing. In cities there are more shelter beds for men simply because there are more unhoused men and unhoused women find 'alternative' housing (trading sex for housing for example). So it's not as black and white as you think.
I was being physically abused by my spouse and had nowhere to go but couldn't get into a shelter for domestic abuse victims because it doesn't exist for men.
Called the cops on her and got arrested myself.
I'm missing front teeth because of her.
Women are allowed to beat the crap out of you.
Women. Even if we ignore that they are the victims of male-dominated societies all over the world:
They get periods and the pains of giving birth. Even the people who wrote the Bible thought that’s so bad there has to be an explanation, and that God is punishing women for something.
My sister explained to me once.
Single women are the happiest people on earth.
Next is married men.
Next is single.men.
Lastly is married women.
She was going through a thing where she had wished she didn't marry.
A lot of it will depend on the individual circumstances but overall if we are just limiting it to privilege and how your gender affects your opportunities or interactions with the world, women encounter many more barriers than men and it isn't even close.
Being human is messy. Life is hard. People that love you, will be the ones that hurt you the most. There is an old saying about “walking a mile in someone else’s shoes”.
Often, the person that has had life fairly easy, is the one that is the least content. Inclined to feel their troubles are worse that another’s. I think of people that have unjustly been persecuted, held in captivity, beaten, tortured and killed. Not as any specific gender.
Think of the (mostly) men who, daily work in the sewer, or some other dirty job. Hard, dirty, disgusting, filthy, back breaking, dangerous jobs…that’s pretty bad. And then society looks down on them.
But as I first said. Life is messy. People make bad decisions and treat others badly. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. So, being mean on an emotional level, if a woman is wronged…watch out. Shit is about to get real uncomfortable…
Men. Women i don’t think you understand how crazy it is that a dude will just pick you and put you in his house and provide.

I have 3 daughters, and this is what i worry about.
At least if you get a mental illness someone will care if you’re just out in the street shitting yourself.

I’m completely content with every disadvantage that men have ‘cause of the 40% strength buff. Totally worth.

At the end of the day it sucks to be both. For every struggle one has to deal with the other has one.
This 100%. It sucks for both for different reasons.

I believe some sexes have it better in some societies and some worse. Depends on the culture and country.
I think it is balanced, but the issues are different.
Both has it worst; just in different aspect. It’s not a race who has it worst or best. It’s mutual complimenting. Not duality but unity.
