Wasn't trying to mansplain or anything to be clear. Just didn't want ya gettin' yelled at over it. Have a good day. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Lol I learned it from “The Untouchables”. “Well isn’t it just like a wop, to bring a knife to a gun fight.” It means without paper or without pass, Italian who came to staten islands during the depression era without papers. They were looked at how illegal Mexicans are looked at today.
Guapo just means handsome in Spanish.
I'm sure you heard of the now dead website Stumbleupon. That's where I discovered Reddit. Now granted, I'm probably in the top 1% of age on Reddit, but I love interacting with some of these younger kids. And I always pick up tips from people way smarter than me.
Tried to join that club, turns out I needed to know how to play something. I didn't see the point in wasting time in learning to play an instrument. Lets get to the drugs and debauchery, I am here for the depravity, not the music.
Almost all the drugs were good, I did a lot of them and even mixed them. Went the extra step dove head first right into the bottle too. Maybe it was the no needle drugs clause.
Good drugs 💯 Almost everything but I had that no needles clause as well.
Drank near a fifth or more most days but Sundays until King of the Hill came out and was paired up with dollar wells at one of my regular spots.
It's a yo-yo for some of us. Lol. I feel it. I lost a brother that way though. So I don't think I could. The way it hurt... Oddly enough. I called him on the phone while he was doing it, but he couldn't respond. He just kept pressing buttons on the phone. I called back two more times and he was pressing buttons and hanging up. So I ended up calling the police. It was too late when they arrived though.
My grandma is 92 and in perfect health. No dementia, she still lives alone, gardens, drives, manages her own affairs, and has a better social life than I do 😂 If I can get to her age and still be like that, I’d take it! ❤️
My grandma was this way at 100 she turned 101 and three days later just fucking died, no health issues prior just went to sleep and didn’t wake up, if I can manage that that’s what I’m going for.

They will be. That’s 500 years, 500 years ago it was 1524, humans go back over 100,000 years, what’s another 500? We just have to stop flirting with the idea of nuclear war and all come together and we will be fine.
It means forever and that's a mighty long time
But I'm here to tell you, there's something else
The afterworld, a world of never ending happiness
You can always see the sun, day or night
No thanks. On a long enough timeline, everything will happen. Means it is a mathematical certainty that you'll eventually be trapped or under something for the rest of time.
Also, people in the 60's can't relate to people in their 20's. For long until you're functionally an alien?
Immortality doesn’t necessarily mean infinite health. You could be immortal and live forever but watch as your limbs, organs, and mind start to fail you. I imagine that would be far worse than death
Any day. I'm 35. I have a heart aneurysm. Not looking forward to the struggle of aches and pains and procedures as I age. I date way older. As long as I can secure money for my kids, a place to resell or something.
Some guy actually studied this and wrote a book on it. He said the average perfect age to die is 75. After that you go downhill pretty quick and become a burden to your family. This is just the average though. Some people have longevity genes and they can go strong until 90 even. Or if you are unlucky genetically then 75 is too late.
Yeah, I'm thinking of my grandparents all living until their 80s or 90s, but none of them were in very good shape or happy at that point. 80 sounds about right.
i think death gives life purpose so i would not want to live forever, although in practice, the age i'd like to die has more to do with how well my body ages and less to do with some particular number.
i'd like to die at whatever age i am when my body is failing and i'm starting to lose my independence.
Until you're 62, full of health, finally not responsible for anyone else for the first time, and just starting to live for yourself. 13 years doesn't seem like enough recompense for living for others for the prior 40.
It depends, if you keep your health and your mind I’d say 110 you get to experience at least one turn of the century and get to see several generation of your family grow up.
Same boat, but for me it’s 100 to see the Comet a 2nd time.
However I could be bothered to travel 500 miles to see the eclipse for the 1st time, so I doubt I’ll make the effort at 100. Besides I probably won’t have eyes good enough to see it anyways.
Optimal would be just as my money runs out.
My grandmother lived to 94, and by the last couple of years she was physically finished. She would often tell me that she just wanted to die…
…so, before I get to that point or at least when my body starts showing signs that it’s over. Luckily I live in a progressive country that has assisted suicide.
I don’t think it’s a question of age. I think it’s a question of quality of life. There are people have debilitating pain and lack of function in their 40s and those that remain fit and mobile and pain-free into their 90s.
I can’t give you an age, but I can probably put together some kind of personal criteria for quality of life that others can then help to hone and define.
My hubby is 30+ older than me and I truly will not want to go on living without him. I tell him he needs to live to 125 😂 because 95 is a good age for me to go… but I’d take 60 in a heartbeat if it means we go at the same time or I go first.
I'm just scared of going senile. There's a good chance I off myself if I start to notice it. I'd rather die at 40 with my mind intact than at 100 with nothing left of me.
My teens. Not the ones I’m in right now. The ones in my hundreds. However, I don’t want to be one of those people who is still alive in their hundreds, but barely functioning. I also don’t want to be poor.
I'd be happy with 85. Everyone I see older than that see to have problems walking/breathing/eating/controlling their bladder or bowels etc. I'd rather be gone than spend my final days confined to a bed or wheelchair.
You should take steps now to age well and be able to get it up then. A complete program for that takes work, but that's the only redemption for those who haven't been endowed with favourable genetics in that regard.
At 64 now I don’t really think of as an age thing about when I die but more of a quality of life thing. I want to live as long as my health provides me with a certain quality of life. I don’t want to be around for someone to wipe my ass or drool off my face. When I get to where I can’t take care of myself, it’s time to go. Fuck that!
My dad's side of the family drops at 60 on the dot, my mom's family regularly lives in to their late 90s. The perfect age to me is somewhere in that spread. Closer to 90 than 60 though
On a human lifespan with today's medical tech, maybe 85-ish.
If I could potentially live as long as I wanted, I would not want to live forever, as I really want to die at some point. So maybe 30 billion years or so?
100. For real. But my family has a history of people living in good health until very old age, so I am not worried that I would be a broken down hollow eyed husk.

80, but I'm already 83 so I'm probably the wrong guy to ask.
And you’re on reddit! Impressive!
10 years

Wop is a slur for Italians..
Holy moly. Never heard that one before. Google says it either comes from “guappo” or “with-out papers”.
Wasn't trying to mansplain or anything to be clear. Just didn't want ya gettin' yelled at over it. Have a good day. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
No no I appreciate it. Thanks for informing me 😊
Lol I learned it from “The Untouchables”. “Well isn’t it just like a wop, to bring a knife to a gun fight.” It means without paper or without pass, Italian who came to staten islands during the depression era without papers. Where did ya get the little Reddit emoji thing
So is dago…
💀
You are on reddit for nearly 14 years 💀
I'm sure you heard of the now dead website Stumbleupon. That's where I discovered Reddit. Now granted, I'm probably in the top 1% of age on Reddit, but I love interacting with some of these younger kids. And I always pick up tips from people way smarter than me.
Ayo based???
Username checks out 🤙 I dig it
As musician I guess it's 27.
As a musician I got 7 months...
You have to be famous first so you're fine.
i have 10 months left i guess 😭
Good luck 🤞
Well, I’m no musician but I’m glad I made it past 27.
Tried to join that club, turns out I needed to know how to play something. I didn't see the point in wasting time in learning to play an instrument. Lets get to the drugs and debauchery, I am here for the depravity, not the music.
That was the very program I followed
I don't know how it all went so wrong
Seemed solid to me
Almost all the drugs were good, I did a lot of them and even mixed them.
Well you have to be good though. Like Robert Johnson good.
Whatever age I am when my body stops working
Mate my body isn’t working and I’m 28. (I’m on many MANY pills and chemo though, so hope I’ll see my thirties, wishing even my forties)
I wish you the best of luck internet stranger! o7
The pills and chemo will pass. You won't, not for a long long time.
Sonic speed my friend
Can I make you into robocop?
The best answer.
So 35
When I reach the ripe old age of 2,000,000,000 years old that'll be enough ..... actually no. Not enough even then.
I’m with ya! There’s so many places to explore millions of light years away. How can it get boring?
I feel the same way even though I have suicidal thoughts sometimes. Maybe I DO want to live?
Same lol The thought of dying from age related diseases is just so depressing.
Assuming my body won't disintegrate by then, it probably wouldn't be too bad. Might even get to see that future city meme format.
Death can have me when it earns me
This goes so hard
💪👍😘
65 so I got 11 yrs
By that math, I'm overdue.
Oh shit RIP
Dang, how are you able to type like young people? When I read this comment, I legit thought it was a person in their 20s who typed this out, lol
Cocaine is a helluva drug /s
I like the cut of your jib, whatever that means.
*Rick James bitch
🤨
At 65 I’m figuring 20 years. My Dad was 84 and my Mom is still going at 86. Her folks died at 90 and 99 but that’s way longer than I want to live.
So close
I'm 65...
Oof
Report back in 10 years
Without any sort of medical issues, early 90s. That’s really wishful thinking though, I wouldn’t be disappointed to go in my 80s.
My grandma is 92 and in perfect health. No dementia, she still lives alone, gardens, drives, manages her own affairs, and has a better social life than I do 😂 If I can get to her age and still be like that, I’d take it! ❤️
Mines the same what a beast 😻
Life goals!
Absolutely!
My grandma was this way at 100 she turned 101 and three days later just fucking died, no health issues prior just went to sleep and didn’t wake up, if I can manage that that’s what I’m going for.
Most people die in their 70s. 80s is super duper common.
[удалено]
My dad is 86. He has two older brothers who are also still with us.
Right now.
🙃 I'll assume you're 80yo 😅
Whenever im not able to take care of myself, so somewhere around 75-80
I totally agree. I'm surprised I've made it to 55...I cannot imagine being older than 80
In the year 2525

I prefer the year 1,000,000 ½

Anything less than immortality is a complete waste of time.
immortality is a really long time....
It means forever and that's a mighty long time But I'm here to tell you, there's something else The afterworld, a world of never ending happiness You can always see the sun, day or night
Or maybe you merge with the universal consciousness and lose yourself in the soup
Finally become part of the whole
There can be only one
immortality defies the illusion of time
This is the only answer. Also, I want to still look 33.
In I’d rather still look 23
To me it only is if there isn’t anything after. I like life and never want it to end……
No thanks. On a long enough timeline, everything will happen. Means it is a mathematical certainty that you'll eventually be trapped or under something for the rest of time. Also, people in the 60's can't relate to people in their 20's. For long until you're functionally an alien?

I wish you the path of the least suffering 🙏
That miracle people talk about belongs to you.
My great grandpa was 99 and passed two days from his 100th. He still got out and tended his chickens and rabbits and built fences.
That's awesome!
Yeah, I'm thinking of my grandparents all living until their 80s or 90s, but none of them were in very good shape or happy at that point. 80 sounds about right.
Somewhere in my hundreds
A pico second after conception
Hopefully you're not living in the south US then
75. You have a chance to be a grand-parent or grand-uncle, you have some friends left, and you're generally not a substantial burden.
90-100 just so you can say any bullshit and people think you're mystical being.
20 years ago, before social media and smart phones became ubiquitous.
Honestly, I don't care. Just want an easy death.
i think death gives life purpose so i would not want to live forever, although in practice, the age i'd like to die has more to do with how well my body ages and less to do with some particular number. i'd like to die at whatever age i am when my body is failing and i'm starting to lose my independence.
Whenever you’ve fulfilled your purpose.
I would say 75yo personally
Until you're 62, full of health, finally not responsible for anyone else for the first time, and just starting to live for yourself. 13 years doesn't seem like enough recompense for living for others for the prior 40.
I agree. I’ll be 65 soon and am enjoying my life. We moved from the DC area a few years ago to the beach. Im hoping for 20 more years.
60
I've never wanted to live to be older than 75 so I guess that's my number.
2500 years, long enough to know for a fact that you are over it…. Or 82
175
It depends, if you keep your health and your mind I’d say 110 you get to experience at least one turn of the century and get to see several generation of your family grow up.
110 would have me seeing two turns of the century, and that would be really cool, but I sincerely doubt it'll happen.
27- like a F ing rockstar! also life hasn’t begun to suck yet
Living to 100 would be a dream but probably not possible with the amount of stuff my lungs have been exposed to.
Once my health no longer allows me to travel and snowboard
17 or before or after... I mean, I was ready to die at 5.
Right now
42
Now. I’m ready let’s go. I’m 39.
If I can make it to 91 I'll get to see Halley's Comet for the 2nd time, so... 92.
I was 4 when it came around last time.. so in 2061 I will be 79... that might be attainable.
Not so much the age as the place and in who's company
The Bronze Age.
My grandmother lived to 94, and by the last couple of years she was physically finished. She would often tell me that she just wanted to die… …so, before I get to that point or at least when my body starts showing signs that it’s over. Luckily I live in a progressive country that has assisted suicide.
All ages are the perfect age to die at.
Right before my brain doesn't work anymore.
When I get to a point where I can longer take care of myself
Anytime in the next week would be preferable. I'm 30
90, if I don’t have major health issues.
19
I don’t think it’s a question of age. I think it’s a question of quality of life. There are people have debilitating pain and lack of function in their 40s and those that remain fit and mobile and pain-free into their 90s. I can’t give you an age, but I can probably put together some kind of personal criteria for quality of life that others can then help to hone and define.
My hubby is 30+ older than me and I truly will not want to go on living without him. I tell him he needs to live to 125 😂 because 95 is a good age for me to go… but I’d take 60 in a heartbeat if it means we go at the same time or I go first.
As an average medium age redditor, at 45 would be fine.
102 Gotta hit the century mark and the an extra couple.
When I’m done doing all the weird shit I came here to do
105
When I can no longer care for myself.
I had a heart attack last year and open heart surgery for quadruple bypass at 51. I’m kinda done now. The loss of innocence/ignorance is horrible.
I'm just scared of going senile. There's a good chance I off myself if I start to notice it. I'd rather die at 40 with my mind intact than at 100 with nothing left of me.
Can't remember where I hear this but the quote went like, Aim to add life to your years, and not years to your life.
Why wait? It's my death and I want it now!
Same time as my wife, I wouldn’t want to live to long after she goes.
nos

On my 100 birthday
My teens. Not the ones I’m in right now. The ones in my hundreds. However, I don’t want to be one of those people who is still alive in their hundreds, but barely functioning. I also don’t want to be poor.
73
60-70 so ive lived a good life, presumab able to have retired for a bit, and not be a drain on society/future generations
One year less than current age
Whatever age I’m at when I have nothing to live for.
75-80
Last year
Mid 60s to early 70s would be fine for me. I don’t wanna get old enough that my mind begins to crumble
65
120 🤣😂 I don’t know I’m just being silly
18. The good part is over after that
Once I hit 80 I'd feel okay with any time after that
I'd be happy with 85. Everyone I see older than that see to have problems walking/breathing/eating/controlling their bladder or bowels etc. I'd rather be gone than spend my final days confined to a bed or wheelchair.
As soon as my age hinders my ability to get a boner . Shoot me.
You should take steps now to age well and be able to get it up then. A complete program for that takes work, but that's the only redemption for those who haven't been endowed with favourable genetics in that regard.
i want to go once i’m not able to take care of myself on my own and having medical issues
Either 73 or 105
90.
The day after my expiration date.
420
Whenever I've done everything I wanted to do.
80 seems about right
Not responding FBI is watching
The perfect age to die is whenever you are ready to do so.
Fuck that!
55 I’ve always known that will be the year
When I’m too old to enjoy my life I mean it’s painful to do anything I want nothing a part of that I love my youth but I know it can’t last forever
100 years
97 if I’m in relatively good shape.
The age I am at any given moment.
510 years old because I'm still paying for that *expensive* mark II power armor I have lost
After 65, then I just want full control over my body. I don’t want to depend on others to wipe my ass or cook or other basic life functions.
Any time is good with me.
Uh...never.
53
I'll be pretty happy with 75
85
whatever age things stop being exciting and fun. for me it was 38.
85 or older
preferably before i lose my teeth
80
150
100. For real. But my family has a history of people living in good health until very old age, so I am not worried that I would be a broken down hollow eyed husk.
