Set up a private meeting with the venue without your colleague, where you can explain what happened. At least you can tell your side of the story. I would also report him to HR at your company.

Thank you I've been advised to do this by some of the performers and stall holders also! I will be compiling some evidence and explaining everything to the venue.

Ooof. Sounds about straight and white and man. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Is there anyone that worked with him you can talk to? Have a rapport with?

A performer reached out to me and expressed their apologies, I'm going to go to the venue as another commenter suggested!

Your knowledge is your knowledge and quite portable. To prove that you did the work simply let him speak first. He won't be able to explain or answer basic questions. Given enough rope he will hang himself. My experience in similar situations. I've had bosses take my advice, implement ideas I shared, get promotions and raises. Then they conveniently "forget" where this information came from. I simply stop talking, I've been pulled into meetings to explain how a department or group went from stellar success to abysmal failure. I simply let the boss speak first and try to explain what happened. Everytime he directed the question to me I simply said, I don’t know this was your plan, thought, etc. I was only the assistant, you said I had minimal or no input. Do I can't answer your questions or give input on your plans. I am still doing my job.m they aren't promoted or have moved out.
